May will be busier than September, I've been in both months. Although the "swing into spring" was great!
We've been at the end of September a few times (around 27-28th) and for example we never saw crush over 30 min wait, most other rides were walk ons or very short waiting time.
Sure which ever you decide you'll have a blast!
We've been during the UK may half term holidays & expected it to be a lot worse. Queues weren't bad at all & it seemed only the Brits were there. I would definitely go in May again (I'm restricted to holiday times being a teacher).
