Title: booking confirmation problems

Hi

Has anyone had problems not getting a booking confirmation email when booking directly through the Disneyland Paris website?

I booked on Saturday and I've still not received anything at all!  I rang yesterday and they said, it had been sent but they would re-send it (they had the correct email address), but I still have not received anything.  I rang again today and she said that it can take up to 48 hours?

I've just checked through my old emails and last year I received a receipt email straight away and then the confirmation email about 24 hours later.

I've checked my email account (Hotmail) and its all fine.  I've not blocked Disney (as if I would!  :D) and there is nothing in my junk folder.

Has anyone else had trouble? 

Disney have definitely taken my money, so I know the booking has gone through.    I just want to see it in black and white and double check its all correct.

took 5 rays for me to get mine. I'd wait till Friday and then contact tgen again if it hasn't showed up

We got ours about five minutes after the phone call.

For some reason it's because it's hotmail. I have previously had this problem. Made a booking the other day and in the end had to give Gmail address. I realised then it had happened before. Even when it came through on Gmail it was in the junk folder!

How annoying!  I think I'm going to have to set up a special email address just to get my confirmation.

You'd have thought that Disney would have realised that there was a problem.  After all a lot of people use Hotmail email addresses.

I have to say I wasn't overly impressed with the people I spoke to at Disney.  It did feel like a 'the computer says no' situation.

I guess I'll just have to ring up and listen to the parade music while I sit on hold again, and try to resist not singing along in the office ha ha  :D

Having the same problem. Booked over the phone direct last Monday and have spent umpteen minutes on hold to a fairly high cost number several times this week. Was promised the email would be sent but still no joy. Yes Im hotmail too.

I've just set up a gmail account and have rung and asked them to email that account.

I'll let you know if it works!

i never received a booking confirmation email when i booked on the phone. It was only once i made a second payment that they finally sent an confirmation email.

Update! I've made some small progress. I received an email to my new gmail account (so clearly Disney doesn't like hotmail anymore!!!) which states it is a confirmation email, but the letter just says I've updated my booking aaaaggghhh! So it looks like I'll be on the phone again today  :(

Come on Disney, you are normally fab!

I think the updated booking means you have changed your email address and its the only way they can resend the document as the original one was sent to hotmail account. Mine says the same. As long as your dates and all the finer details are correct then it will be fine. Glad you got sorted though.

I gave up over the phone after speaking to a completely useless Clementine so used an email address I had from an old booking. Hey presto....2 hours later booking confirmation arrived.

I think I spoke to Clementine too! 

Isn't it ridiculous that Disney have this problem.  :(

At least we are sorted now though  :D
