Title: Booked for October 2016! - used disneyholidays.co.uk website for first time!
Post by: Euro1989 on January 07, 2016, 10:58:28 AM
Another DLP holiday booked! Staying at the Hotel Santa Fe this time, this will be the third different hotel I have tried, 22nd October for 4 nights. That means I will be staying at WDW in September and DLP in October, does it get much better? 2016 is shaping up to be a fantastic year  ;D ;D ;D

This time I have booked both WDW and DLP through the disneyholiday.co.uk website, what is the difference booking through this rather than their respective websites? Seems like I have a different type of booking reference this time, plus my holiday documents will be sent in the post. Apart from that I can't see much of a difference.

One other thing, I can't link the holiday to my profile on the DLP website which is a little annoying, anyone know a way around this?

Thanks
Euro

oh wow, two Disney parks, Im the same this year DLP in February and Disneyland California in June  :)

The reason you cant link you holiday in My Disney Account is because you booked through a third party company, not Disney direct.  Thats why you have a different booking reference and are getting your documents through the post. The disneyholiday company "bought" the packages from Disney and then sold them to you. They block book hotel rooms so they get a discount for booking many rooms at once.

If you have any issues or disputes you will need to contact disneyholiday as your contract is with them, not Disney

Ahhh right I see. But its still part of Disney who I have booked through right? So there shouldn't be any problems with not booking direct through Disney.

I do get a little confused sometimes with the different parts of Disney.

Wow Disneyland! I have never been to Cali but I will one day! :)

Yes, its just a different part of the company. I would go back to that website and create a new My Disney account and your holiday details should show up.

Its the Disney Travel Company which is different from booking direct with the park on the www.disneylandparis.co.uk website. Different websites which will have different data bases, all part of the same parent company.  Just like Disney Store on the High Street is a different company to Disney Parks Merchandise Store :)

They are a great company. I would always book with them - if the price was right lol x
