We are travelling on the 20th January with our 6 year old and 1 year olkd for 4 days staying at Santa fe. Anyone have any experience of the photo pass plus? Is it worth it? Do photographers work in cafe mickey and Buffalo bills or are they just park based?
park based but imo it's worth it. you can also get your photos on buzz which you'll all be able to ride put onto your photopass
Found it worth it for meeting the characters and getting good photos that you can easily share with family. Also means you don't have to get a cast member to use your camera, so no-one misses out.
I have the annual PhotoPass+ and it's wonderful. I recommend it highly. It's usable for most character meets in the parks as well as for ride photos. We got over a hundred pictures on it on our last visit.

My mum gave me & my boyfriend some euro's for Christmas under strict instruction to use them to purchase a Photopass for our trip in February.
I'm sooo excited to use it - it'll be my first ever time riding Space Mountain, Rock n' Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror etc so I am looking forward to being able to capture my reaction on them, haha! Also, it means I'll get a few nice photos of me and my boyfriend if I can convince him to meet some characters with me :D
We are going soon and looking forwards to getting the photo pass+. I will have an annual pass and understand this only gets you one card, I assume any of the 3 of us can use it? Also would all 3 of us be able to use the app to add ride photos?

The PhotoPass+ card does not have your personal details on it so you can indeed hand it back and forth between different people.
The card can only be associated with one PhotoPass+ account but I imagine you could log into that account on several different devices. We didn't try that on our last visit, anyone who had neither card nor app just texted the photo number to the person with the app to key in and download.

What a great idea! You have to come back and share them though :D
Here's my first time on Rock & Roller Coaster – I'm in the plain blue shirt.

we definately got our use out of it on our trip last week =] well worth the money and we plan to buy one for use on our next trip as well but a random question is can the non annual pass ones be reactivated? obviously i would expect some sort of fee to come from this but if i took the card with me to disney could they just reactivate my card?
Good question – worth asking although I expect the answer is no and they'll sell you a brand new one. You can add as many passes as you like to your online account though so there is no problem viewing photos from multiple passes at once.

The element shortly after the photo is taken removes any residual calm, I can assure you!
We got a photopass plus on our last trip and loved it. We got lots of character photos, and all the on-ride photos. Totally worth it and it was just on one trip, I'm looking forward to using it again next time we go. Particularly with the characters, I didn't bother trying to take any pictures, I simply enjoyed the moment with my daughter, the Disney photographers took really beautiful pictures!
Is there a limit to how many photos you can have on it? And how much is it? Thinking of getting one for next time
There is no limit besides the patience of the Cast Member taking the photographs and of your fellow guests waiting in the queues.
The price is €49.99 for a standard 10-day pass. Annual passport holders get a one-year pass and get their usual merchandise discount on the price.
Thanks everyone for that
Off to DLP in Feb and was wondering about the photo pass plus
Defiantly going to get one
Where can u purchase the photo pass and I see people talking about discount/vouchers for them, any info appreciated :-)
You can buy the package in a lot of shops in the park (too many to mention separately) - they are usually in a stand on the counter, so just ask the CM at the cash register.
Note: the price has changed to €59,99 - in the Netherlands you can get a 20% discount if you book the Pass with your stay. And in the parks you also get the Annual Pass-discount.
We added to our UK booking with Disneyland Paris. CO.UK for 38. Worth every penny!
we paid 49.99€ back in Feb, and although we got some great photos we were really disappointed that most of the character meet and greets dont have offical photographers so we didnt really think it was value for money. It was great for rides as you get the pictures that are taken of you that you wouldnt normally buy you would just look at it.
Personally I wouldn't buy it again, but that is just my opinion as it worked great in the princess pavillion and in Mickey's house and we got loads of photos but I think the ones we got with our own camera were just as good!
