Hi there!
I think this has been confirmed, but I am not sure. I haven't seen a topic about this either!
According to ED92 on Twitter, a new show is coming to the Charparral Theatre called The Forest of Enchantment (La ForĂȘt de l'Enchantement)
"The centerpiece of the set will be a 1.5 ton foldable piece that reveals moving stairs, it will be in constant evolution. The show will be hosted by an MC surrounded by 4 singers representing nature, and a cast centered around animals and plants. Water, Earth("Lezardo") Fire ("Ragina") and Air ("Lucille") are some of the characters of the show. They will be joined by Disney Characters. Scenes will include Pocahontas for the opening followed by King Louie, Tarzan, Rapunzel and Merida before the big finale. 20 minute production which will occur five times a day!"
It will mostly be performed in English. Begins 10th February 2016 to 8th May 2016, 7 days a week.
Like I said, I am not 100% sure if it has been confirmed or if a topic has been posted so just thought I'd post it! ;D
If that's true it's great timing for me, my next visit is the 14th February :)

Mine is 15th-19th February!! What hotel are you staying in & how long are you going for?
We're only having one day in the parks this time around as part of a larger Paris tip. So we'll just miss one another :(
I hope because of this they actually do a Pocahontas nmeet and greet. that would be fab!
That would make sense in terms of staging (thinking they have to be able to transfer things back to Frozen pretty quick) as there's currently lots of trees and Elsas stairs.
Looking forward to a new show although not sure what they will do with the little Frozen shop outside?! Fingers crossed for a meet and greet.
I'm very excited about this! Fingers crossed ;D
Love Pocahontas and Tarzan both very moving and great songs!
Sounds amazing...but we aren't going until July 2016 so we will probably miss it :'(
Sounds amazing! Great selection of characters too. i'm visiting literally 2 weeks before it starts so I hope there will be some soft openings but I'm doubtful.
After reading many a interview from Daniel Delcourt about DLP future the plan is that this show will run all year alternating with Frozen Sing along during the summer and xmas seasons. If this happens this would be excellent news as it means the Chaparral Theatre will have a show running all year round once again.

I second this - I was hoping it'd be on the first week of February... What a shame!

No meet, just a temporarily show.

That will be blocked off, just like they did for Halloween.
There will not be a meet 'n greet with Frozen characters nor characters from the new show.

The show only runs until May 8th.
But there is a new show coming to the Animagique building called "Mickey and the Magician", which will open on July 6th.

Definitely not 2 weeks before opening.
Do we know if/when this will be confirmed as there is nothing on their main site :( !
Thanks

Yes, this is officially confirmed through a press release
How "confirmed" do you want it to be? I suppose it will only be totally confirmed when that week's programme is published.
CMs are rehearsing already - pretty sure it's going ahead! ;D

It is!!
It's pretty girly, but in a strangely accessible way! Our boys weren't interested but I loved it. Both times... :)
I hope they make this a permanent show in 2017. Hate the idea of 'between this date and that date' shows.
I'm in two minds about this show having seen it live. I love the concept and parts are excellent but some of the singing was horrific on one of the performances I saw, not to mention the fact Rapunzel forgot her words. Also why they can't cast some better Merida's is beyond me it's not like she has a tricky role (as in she doesn't need to be an acrobat just look like her!).

Call me evil but I'd actually love to see that happen during a live show of something. ;D
I'm so gutted, I looked on the guides and it ends on the 8th May,literally the day before I arrive! :( bummer.

Hopefully it'll be a success and they'll make it a permanent show for 2017.
My thoughts on the show
I was in DLP last week of February 2016. Before I went I didnt watch any spoilers or read much about the show so I went with an open mind
1. At the moment with all the closures in Frontierland, its not really that well advertised or well known and its in an out of the way place. Im here most days and I follow Disney Fan accounts on Twitter, but I'm thinking more specifically about the people who are not as well planned as us or who are not that clued up about the layout of the park. I knew before my trip where the location of the theatre was, what times the show is on and what day I wanted to see it. People who just turn up at the park and get handed the map and entertainment schedule would probably miss this show
2. The overall concept is good, a unique show to DLP using an existing theatre. The movable staging effects were great but what was with the big "tree" in the middle. Not having seen previous shows in this theatre, I dont know if this was an attempt to cover up something ie a lighting or sound rig?? I was lucky, I managed to get a seat where I didnt have an unobstructed view but I can see how it would spoil the view for some
3. The concept of having the singers sing and the characters act worked but didnt work. Its the same concept used by Avenue Q Broadway / West End show. When someone was singing I wanted to focus on them but then I realised they were the "voice" of the character so I had to switch to the character, my brain got confused, who do I watch, the singer or the character??
4. The content was great, really well put together, the costumes and visuals really worked
5. The performers though needed more rehearsals. Some of the spins, bounces, leaps, turns etc were a bit sloppy. Some flips were a bit off. The Tarzan / Corde Lisse act was not the best I have seen, he is not the same standard as Cirque de Soleil.

It was really awkward and obvious she didn't sing for like 15 seconds. No attempt to make it up or anything, I did find it amusing in a horrible way.

Perhaps she should have just mimed? ;D

Anything would have been better than the panicked look she gave - she didn't even do the proper choreography, which was merely walking along the stage.
I have a video - I'll try upload it ;D
I literally love this show and I'm gutted I probably won't get a chance to see it live as it closes in May which is such a shame.
I think the singing is superb, the set and the costumes all look great. It's such a fun uplifting show and it's great to have a show like this in DLP.
It definitely needs to stick around and I hope in 2017 it becomes a permanent addition to DLP

I think the idea of seasonal shows is ludicrous personally, especially when a show called Frozen Singalong is on in Summer. You would think the name
Frozen would be a clue that it would be more fitting for Christmas if at all. I don't see many things frozen in Summer (well, unless you count getting frozen from our terrible British weather in the UK).
I guess we got lucky when we saw it last week--the main singers were really good and Rapunzel did not stand out as good or bad at singing---and the dancing, etc was well done--no mistakes that i noticed at all and having done a lot of community theatre we tend to pick up on them.
We all enjoyed the show---I agree it is too bad it will be so shirt lived to put Frozen back in summer. I could see rotating between the two with Frozen from late fall through early spring and this in late spring, through the summer and into early fall.

If they really have to have Frozen Singalong, then it should be winter only IMO.
I preferred Frozen to Forests! Neither are anywhere near as good as the old shows though.
I adore forest :D I love loads of the cast and love most of the show, only one part I dislike (Merida I'm looking at you)
Forest ended today sadly! It'll be back next year if rumours are true.
I read on another DLP-site it will return for the 25th, from February till August/September 2017.
This show is my absolute favourite: I love the songs, the perfomers, the costumes and choreography and somehow it feels like the performers have a lot of fun doing their bit on stage. Frozen is nice but it feels more like a large (even larger than the ones on the screen ;D) video I'm watching (somehow it always feels the same, as opposed to FoE: with the changing cast I feel everytime I see it, it's different). Someone told me they liked Frozen better because it is more interactive but I don't share that opinion. I look forward to Forest returning!

I hope that's true because then I'll be able to see it during my visit next year. Forest of Enchantment, Woody and the Disappearing Nugget and Mickey and the Magician will give a nice bit of variety in entertainment.
I saw the show last week and absolutely loved it! I'd seen some clips and I didn't have particularly high expectations but I was really pleasantly surprised. I thought it was excellent.
I loved Forest of Enchantment. I loved the costumes, storyline, set and characters involved. The live singers were absolutely amazing and made this show at DLP very special. I managed to go and see the show live on its final weekend and it was such a treat to see this live after watching it on Youtube live. The buzz it gives you at the end was amazing.
I'm so glad I managed to get to see this live and I hope as rumours go DLP bring this back with the problems ironed out such as more needed to happen during the Brave Segment next year. It was a welcome addition to DLP entertainment this year and deserves to continue to be a stable of DLP entertainment for years to come.

They should make it a permanent show. There really needs to be one performed all year round.

I totally agree with you! This show would be prefect as a permanent show in Frontierland. It fits in beautifully. Rumours are next year it would run longer from February to September. This would tie in with Frozen returning November for xmas with october and January being changeover months.

Frozen doesn't really make sense for any point in time after Christmas anyway, so it would make sense to restrict it to November/December.
