I've been to Disney quite a few times now and have been asked advice by family who will be visiting and have Premium half board vouchers (staying in the Disneyland Hotel) and I'm trying to work out what restaurants to recommend to make the most of the vouchers!
They are there for 4 nights, 2 adults and 6yr old. I'm thinking - Auberge for lunch, Inventions one evening, Buffalo bills another evening and then I'm a bit stuck! Walts? Bistro chez Remy? any suggestions?
Thanks
How about California Grill?
It all depends on if its their first visit / what food they like.
California Grill was too fancy for us and Auberge is not really good for a boys boy (one of my godsons loved it but the other was completely disinterested).
I personally like Annettes even though its not best value for the vouchers. I did find with the Premium vouchers I was choosing restaurants for value not where I wanted, which is just ridiculous. My advice would be to look at the menus and decide based on food preference. Inventions may be worth a visit twice if they want to see characters but avoid queuing in the day time. Cafe Mickey was another one we enjoyed - we got extra drinks to the value of our voucher and took a cupcake back to the hotel as an extra too.
I'd recommend blue lagoon personally because of it being in pirates. But if they don't like seafood or are picky the menu would be limited.
Thanks for the advice. Particularly about choosing somewhere they want to eat/like the menu rather than just the most expensive restaurants. Guess you're not making the most of any vouchers if you don't like your meal :-)
