i was surprised to see armed guards at the entrance to the park areas this week

i expected to see a higher level of security but there where a lot of guys with sniffer dogs and i assume the french army carrying semi automatic guns

i thought it made me feel a lot safer there

I was shocked the first time I saw it a few years back.
