Title: Sequioa lodge swimming pool
Post by: littlebitofpixiedust on September 30, 2015, 09:50:30 PM
Hey guys!

Anyone have any info about the swimming pool? How deep ect. We're packing my sons swim aids ect but we previously went to HNY and were advised it was deep throughout so didn't chance it.

Be great to know a little about the sequioa lodge pool if any of you have been?

We were there this week. It's 1.40 all over. The slide was closed. It was cold, but not as cold as the other pools. It's advertised as 28C. Even a fairly poor swimmer like myself warmed up quite quickly. My oldest children loved it. My 4-year-old was shivering terribly. He's beginning to manage quite well in the water, but the temperature put him off.

The really bad thing, though, is that you have to swim through the pool to get to the Jacuzzi, which is nice and hot. And then you have to swim through it again after you've finished. That was torture!

Thanks for the advice  :)
I assume it'll be cold but wonder how cold? We swim a lot and although some pools are cold weuse at first We soon warm up. Shame about the jacuzzi! Bet it's a shock to get out from the warm into the cold   :(

As I wrote, the water is supposedly 28C. The jaccuzzi was 36C.
