Title: Parking
Post by: Slimy yet satisfying on August 27, 2015, 09:37:44 AM
We have friends arriving before us therefore wont be able to get free AP parking. They are booked to stay at the Kyriad but dont want to check in until later. Rather when they arrive, leave their car, jump on the shuttle, buy their passes and check in later that day. Would it be ok for them to park at the kyriad or is it better to go to the park. I heard they have number plate recognition at the hotel and wouldnt want them getting a fine for parking before they were officially guests of the hotel. How much is it now for parking in the main car park?

Is it worth running the risk to get a ticket? Would it make a big difference if they first check-in (maybe one person can checkin and the rest already goes to the park to buy ticketes) and then go to the park? I guess 20/30mins later getting to the park is maybe worth the parking ticket and parking cost at DLP.

I agree. They didnt want to go directly to the park as theywould have luggage left in the car so thought they would leave luggage in self store at the kyriadthen jump on the shuttle bus. The reason they wanted to leave check i till later is that they aim to arrive between 9 and 10 and reception is always a nightmare at that time of day.

Nobody who wants to stay behind and sort the checkin? :) No dad or uncle who likes Disney but can wait 30 more mins? ;)

Also checked and Kyriad doesn't have online checkin, so yeah you have to stand in line.
