i would love to see Autopia as a fastpass ride
I'm not sure about Autopia, wouldn't that effect the standby line too much?
pirates of the caribbean as sometimes the queues there are really long, but when it isn't you can have lots of go's on the ride :D
I have to say Pirates too. I've actually wondered why it wasnt-something to do with the way its built, how woud they do it?

thinking about it you are right they would have to re-do everything!
Although its isn't open yet...Crushs Coaster....because I think it will be as famous as Big Thunder Mountain.....
i agree, cars will calm down and eventually become like most of the other rides. However DLRP's coasters are always busy and each deserve fastpasses
POTC definitely - and Autopia should just be closed - complete waste of space

Obviously you don't have kids. Autopia is one of my son's favorites (and it was one of mine as a child).
I think they should get rid of fastpass altogether. It has made the park feel more crowded, and unless there is a cast member at the merge points, it is a really unpleasant experience trying to keep your group together.
No thanks, get rid of it.
yknow what, i think dumbo should get a fastpass system. the queues there are always so bad n so cramped, might be difficult to do though.
charlotte x
Yeah I agree Dumbo, my kids adore the ride but since the queues are so bad we only usual get in it once during the whole trip because we can't face the wait. Young kids and longs queues just don't mix. Mind you I don't really know how they could do Fastpass on a ride with such a small amount of Elephants?! :minnie:

It would be good to have fastpass for pirates but pirates is only highly demanded at certain times like if you go there 11 - 4pm it would be good for a fastpass system beacause its busy but if you go there when the park opens or even better at 7pm you could get on a boat by yourself because theres not many people in the park.
pirates of the carabiean :ears:
we always have to que a long time for this ride !
and i hope that the tower of terror will be a fastpass too :stitch_bounce:
I want fastpass for the pirates too! Of course there are some times with low demand but most I´will ride it at the others
For some reason I have never had to queue for Pirates! My mum wants a fast pass for it's a small world!
I agree with that...We always have to wait only a few minutes at pirates of the caribbean...It has never been really busy there....

hehe u do at DLC :D the line there was streching from the golden horshowe at one point and went all the way over to the shops of NOS

I also thinkprtly the same as on the fast passes you have to push your way into the line, When I went on Buzzzlightyears
Lazer Blast, No one would let us through and we have to all stay together!
And on Big Thunder Moutain, loads of people were trying to get in line from the fast pass lane!!! I got nocked over loads of times and almos crushed by other people... :tink:
I agree that they urgently need to look into how they can better organise the guest flow at the entrance of the fastpass queue...
For instance - I hate it when people come to the entrance 20 minutes or even longer before they can actually enter. I have never understood why they do it, as all they do is block the entrance for people that do actually have a valid fastpass ticket.
As far as I'm concerned, Disney should make them leave the queue if they do not own a valid ticket by making some kind of "circular" flow...
Trying to explain what I mean with the BTM queue; guests enter that queue, and when they arrive at the CM, they should be made to exit the queue the other way (where you normally turn left and give your ticket to the cast member, they should make you go right, and exit that way again, so you hae to queue again through the normal entrance). that way, the entrance wouldn't be blocked, and you get a circular movement.
I realise some people may not understand and be angry about it, but the info on the ticket should make it clear that they will be refused and will have to requeue if they enter too early...
Space Mountain somtimes really is incredible - I don't like to queuejump at all, but if you go to the fastpass lane, and see that everyone in front of you is holding tickets that are simply not valid yet, you actually have to try and get to the cast member so you may actually enter...
Really - I think fastpass is a good system alltogether, but due to the abuse (people knowing the system too well, and getting tickets for all the attractions in the morning, leaving first time visitors that often didn't realise the service was there with no tickets at all), it became a bit unpleasant for these new guests... And shouldn't Dsney be trying to make their first experience an unforgettable one, so they wll return in stead of leaving them with friustration?
The recent changes to the system where you can only have one ticket overall is a good change. Then again, expecially on BTM, I often see castmembers distributing tickets manually in stead of havihng guests register their entrance ticket... So there goes the great system again...
Bottom line is it's always going to be difficult to implement such a service. On the other hand, if they got rid of the system alltogether indeed, queueing times on the attractions wouldn't be too bad really; BTMs queueing time would be half as long, as they then have two platforms available again for the regular queues...
Just not sure myself what would be the best solution.
Cheers,
David.
Definitly Crush's Coaster should have a FastPass- hope they decide to do that soon!

i have never been on POTC with a que, every time i have been on it has been almost walk on
After this masses: Crush´s coaster?
I think Crush's Coaster definately deserves a fastpass, as does POTC, one is a very popular rollercoaster suitable for many ages (like BTM) and the other is just a fantastically themed ride, both very popular!
I agree with the top and also I should want to have Cars Race Rally to have fastpass since both Crush's Coaster and Cars Race Rally has big queues.
Actually I didn't think Car's line was longer than 30 minutes each time we went by it and we always walk right up to POTC
I've never seemed to have had a problem with queueing at POTC. Its always been pretty slick and smooth and there's always someone entertaining you in the queue.
Maybe phantom manor should have a fastpass system on really busy days, but to be honest I don't think it's that bad. The park seem to have a good grasp on the fast pass system at the moment.
dlrp-mad :mickey2:

Yer I agree however sometimes when its really busy the fastpasses for BTM for example are all gone by lunchtime?!
they should open a fastpass for the peter pan fastpass :P that always seems to be filled by lunch time maximum
i agree with what people are saying about phantom manor
:o Crush's Coaster definatly needs a FastPass. We had to que up for about an hour for Crush yesterday. :P It was worth it of course, but I would've liked to have ridden it more than once without taking a 2 hour chunk out of my day.
Holy moly! I hoped so much that this would change till I go to the resort in July. But the hopes go away bit by bit! Now I can only hope, that it will a fastpass for next year!
I hope Crush's Coaster does get a Fastpass system one day. I don't think I'd fancy waiting 2 hours :P Maybe the queues are that long just because it's new.
NO NO NO NO, Crush should never get fastpass, heck any mohne sorhne coaster should never get a fastpass type system, too late for the stupid ones at the Tussauds park. Though if disney ever gave the coaster a fastpass, the queue would not be a 2 hour stand by line, but more like a 4 hour one. I for one don't ever want to see a fastpass for that. The whole system just adds longer queues onto attractions anyway, would rather see disney lose the fastpass on some attractions than add it.

Oh yes! I forgot how bad the Fastpass system is sometimes :P I've changed my mind: Don't give Crush's Coaster a Fastpass line!
I dont get why you wouldnt want Crush's coaster to have a fast pass? I always think the fast pass system works quite effectively on the rides in Disney apart from on Buzz cos you still end up queing quite a bit.
please please please please can crush's coaster become fastpass PLEASE!! 3 hours 15 i had too wait on sunday but the ride was superb!
well for me i think both pirates and crush would need fastpass, espacially the last once since it has become a sucess, for now at least
Quote from: "Dlrpfan"please please please please can crush's coaster become fastpass PLEASE!! 3 hours 15 i had too wait on sunday but the ride was superb!
OK - if the ride would have fastpass with a 50% of capacity reseved for fastpass riders, the queue wouldbe 6 and a half hours! No fastpass on this rie for me please, as I often find people that didn't know about the fastpass system, and get into the park for this one day they saved a lot of money for to find that fastpass tickets are all distributed, and they have to queue for 3 hours just to ride one ride...
BTM with no fastpass would have queues of only half what they have now...
It's simple math really :)
although i haven't been at dlrp recently so i wasn't able to enjoy the long queues for crush  but i've to say that i'm already scared that i won't make it to ride it couple of times :( so i definitely would like to have a fast pass for crush!!
otherwise i have to say that for me and my family the fast pass system is an enrichment! although i miss the normal waiting line of sm when you have a look from above on the loading area, and at night just a beautiful view over discoveryland till main street. y'all know what i mean?? :D
Surely for Crush! It has huge lines at the moment. :?
I guess Crush would be good as a FP attraction. It's just open since almost a month and so popular. I would really like to use FP for it.
Before the change in fastpass procedure, I would have said crush, but judging by all the posts above, maybe the fastpass attractions should be reduced rather than increased in order to cut que times.
The system worked great for us in the past as I would collect fp's first thing in the morning for the different rides, and then we would plan our day around them. But now that is no longer possible, I can't see the difference between using them or not. - Unless ofcourse they make multiple fp gathering a perk for AP holders! (wishful thinking!)
