If you do a search on the forum on the subject (using the handy search option on the top right hand side ;)) you'll find several topics about photopass plus :)
I'd advise having a look at those, because else people just have to repeat themselves over and over again you know.

I have the annual version which I got on promotion for €29.99 so obviously I'm going to be biased and say it's great :D

I used it and I would certainly recommend it! You get multiple small cards, so if you're with more people you can buy photopass+ together and still go in different attractions on the same time.
Since 1 photo is about 17 euro's (I think), 50 euro's is well spend if you're with more than 1 person. Quality was good and it was easy to download. I only went one day and still got several pictures.

My one did not come with multiple cards, only a single standard size one.

Maybe that's because you have the annual version Stifle?

The AP version has indeed one card.
The normal PP+ has multiple cards.

Yes it's recommendable!
I've purchased one in October, December and March.
And I bought the Annual Passeport version in May.
With all purchases in total I now have about 500 photos.
So it's definitely a great value! I already had 250 photos with my first Photopass+ in October!

Hi.
Have bought single use photo cards at dp in the past but had not heard of annual option before. Was it a promo or is it still available?  Going in oct and for new year so it would be great to have something that covered both. Does it have a larger capacity given that it will cover multiple trips?
Thanks

It's available all year round.
It has no larger capacity, because the regular Photopass+ (which is valid for 10 days) is also unlimited.
The only difference is that the regular Photopass+ can only be used for 10 days and the AP version can be used for a year.

The annual photo pass plus is available exclusively to annual passport holders. It costs the same as a ten day pass (€49.99) less the percentage discount on merchandise that you usually get with the AP.

Actually it doesn't.
For Dream AP holders it's 39,99€ and for Fantasy AP holders it's 44,99€.

We have said the exact same thing in different ways. Read my post again.

Hello, if I can use some mobile apps - applications for waiting times and Photopass Plus - will be enough to limit 1G for about 10 days, please?

Depends on how many photos you're going to download. I use around 4GB a month myself.

You can just download the photos in your hotel if you have free wifi there, which most hotels do.
Then you dont need any internet at all with the Photopass.

One photo is on average 1MB. Character photos are a bit bigger, attraction photos a bit smaller.

Picture sizes vary from about 800 k tot 2 mb per picture.

No because it's valid for 10 days and that goes in the moment of purchase.

You can add it to your booking if with Disney,  pay for it before you go,  then you get a voucher with your park passes etc to trade in for the photo pass in one of the shops

Normally yes. Sometimes there are special offers when booking in advance.

its always worth asking, last November we paid £33 for it when we booked it in advance, which reminds me... I need to call and add it on, that said, even at $9.99 it's fantastic value given the number of photos you get, and even if theres no discount, I'd still get it

Well you don't scan it, the character attendant does.
And at the attractions you can just go the cash register and let the Cast Member scan the photo.
You don't need internet to use the Photopas. You only need internet to download the photos.
Which I reckon you either do at night at your hotel room or at home after the trip.

The only thing you need internet for is if you want to use the Photopass Plus app to scan the QR codes to quickly add ride photos to your account. As already mentioned you can ask a CM at the tills to add it to your card for you (it shows up within the app in five minutes or so). This is a better option anyway in rides such as Pirates of the Caribbean and The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror where the CM at the till can zoom the photo in to show just you and your friends.

An email isn't going to help. Either the photos are still in your PhotoPass+ account, in which case you can still download them, or they've been deleted, in which case they're gone.

You won't get the pictures back unfortunately - the only hope is some other form of compensation.

I was wondering if you're not into the thrill rides that would have the photos are there enough characters with photopass people at them that you don't have to fit a rugby scrum off to get to to warrent spending 50 euro on the photopass?
Title: Re: PHOTOPASS PLUS

Photopass is totally worth it particularly if you have young kids or people who are uncomfortable with standing in the "mob". The characters for these meets are always behind ropes with a queue system in place so no scrum. The usual characters are available as per the park brochure timetable and there are usually extra pop ups too. Last visit we got mickey and minnie together, goofy and pluto together, donald, chip and dale, jack, merida, the princess pavillion, spiderman, buzz and mickey on his own.
