Title: How Slim Do you Have to Be To Be A Performer?
Post by: Lialo6 on March 05, 2015, 03:32:30 AM
Does anybody know how slim you need to be to get cast as a character/face character and parade performer? It's just, a few people I know of have been to multiple auditions and never gotten through just because of their body shape/weight.

Do you HAVE to be slim?

I've never personally been to an audition but from what I've heard you do have to be at least a nice healthy weight. They want to know you can fit into the costumes and such. But then again if you're too small they may not let you in as the costumes may be too heavy for you!

I would assume you have to be a 'healthy' weight and just generally fit. Especially being a performer can be very tiring.
