Title: Reastaurant recommendations (no buffet)
Post by: littlebitofpixiedust on January 04, 2015, 05:42:01 PM
Ok we're of again soon!
But had an unfortunate experience when I came home, food poisoning. 8 days of hell docs asked where I'd ate ect and they think it's likely a buffet could be culprit....

So we're looking for table service something other than burgers also. We've booked lidwigs so far. Any help appreciated :)

Walt's (cool atmosphere, late 19th early 20th Century decor)
California Grill (best restaurant on site)
L'Auberge de Cendrillon (Princesses and good food, beautiful dining halls)
Blue Lagoon ("inside" Pirates of the Caribbean, exotic food, lots of seafood)

My recommendations: Blue Lagoon (excellent atmosphere and the food is very good) and Bistrot Chez Remy (fantastic steak).  8)

My boyfriend and I also like the Bavarian hot dogs in Au Chalet de la Marionnette (mine without the curry-ish sauce).

DLP Guide's menu for the California Grill is unfortunately out of date, they changed a fair few items. :(
I neglected to take pictures of the menu app when I visited the place.

I did check the menu currently on out and I think it'd be unsuitable for my fussy son lol but as you say it's outdated so may have to have a mosey when we're there lol
