And as I haven't seen any announcements of that going away, I'd assume there still are live performances.

Be careful not to give the impression that there is a band there all the time. We eat there 3 or 4 times per year and are lucky if the band is playing on 1 of these times. If you really want to see the band whilst eating, maybe pop in earlier in the day to ask what time they will be there,
