And hotel occupancy is down again, it's gone down almost 10% in a couple of years!!

Good news for all the hotels nearby, as long as Disney keep their prices so high, the other hotels will keep getting plenty of customers....

I love Disney and I would be happy to pay a bit more to stay onsite, but I cannot justify paying 500 euro for a couple of nights (with my AP discount!!) if I can find good hotel nearby for half that price.

Yep, I think the same. It's just not worth it.

To be honest, sometimes I've thought that I get more for my money by traveling to WDW instead of DLP.
I agree that DLP is expensive.

Last time we looked we could do 2 weeks in Florida for 5 days in Paris. Paris is expensive, I didn't used to mind but I am starting to
