Well if it all happens we'll be pretty delighted. The fact that the space mountain rehab is going to happen as said in the article suggests that there might be some truth in it.
I think so too. This article gives us a great look of DLPs future - but there is many in that article what was rumored even before.
Not soo many news, but it fits to other rumors. Let's hope that something will be announced very quick.
Interesting for me were the last parts around the plan (last picture in the article)... what is that behind Santa fe?
Yes, there's some great possibilities there, especially when it comes to the idea of improving the Studios (I love the idea of going with a '50s / '60s theme).
I'm just not sure about any expansion or addition of hotels. That should be the last thing considered.
Why do we need new Hotels? We have a Resort with 2themeparks, Disney Village. So why more than 7 hotels (plus, we have the others)? There is definitely no need in - they should renovate everything what can be renovated there and THEN - when the Studios are a few bigger - add the hotel to the studios. As you may know, less perople booked hotels within the last years. They have to lower prices to get more people into these hotels.
So, before there are no big elements added - plase take the money for attractions and not unnecessary hotels.
In relation to the hotels I wonder if some categories of the hotels I.e. the cheaper or more expensive ones have a higher occupancy rate which is high enough to justify another hotel of that category. It could explain why people keep talking about another hotel.
They aim on growth. Not only by guests visiting their parks, but also the convention centre they are planning to be build.
