Hi All, Only 36 days for us :D and this will be our first trip with our beautiful grandson! Has anybody been recently who can tell me what stage the refurbishments are at? I know the pool will be closed but just wanted to check the restaurants and rooms are finished...as if they weren't I think I would upgrade to Admiral's floor so we could order breakfast in the room and hopefully get a better room....if other areas are still being worked on!

We should have stayed there on our recent visit but decided to change to the New York a few weeks before we travelled. Can't comment on the interior of the hotel but the exterior is still covered in scaffolding!
Chez Remy was amazing, we ate there on the last day before we left and it was by far the best meal we had while we were there, although the service was very slow it was good x
Both restaurants at Newport Bay Club reopend one or two weeks ago.
