Just wondering if anyone has any favourite particular parts of Disney Dreams. I particularly really love the villains, particularly Maleficent making an appearance, as well as Tangled, Brave and Beauty and the Beast!
The floating lanterns! I'll never forget that moment with my son on my knee, sat on the floor of the plaza... Ahh, memories. I downloaded the mp3 yesterday and we listened to it at tea time tonight. So fab!

Ahhhh! "And at last I see the lightttttt!". I got very tearful at that part, one because Tangled is my favourite Disney film and Rapunzel my favourite princess and two, my mum was sitting next to me and when I looked she was crying haha so I cried! Such a beautiful moment of the show!
Tangled, Lion King, Brave, Beauty & the Beast .... :D
Even though I`m a "Beauty and the Beast" fan, I love the floating laterns as well! And the song " I see the Light"
Then comes Beaut and the Beast and Brave!
Thought of another... Hunchback of Notradam singing in French. Never watched the film but love that song. Anyone any idea what it's called? Also the music when you see the bad guy from Princess and the Frog...

It's called Out There :) You should definitely watch HOND, it's fantastic and one of Disney's darkest classics IMO
"He's got friends on the other side..." 8)
Also, the Tangled part sends shivers down my spine every single time...
I really can't say! I just loved the whole thing! ;D
I really love the water and colours of the Brave part! And also the Tangled part is lovely! And the villains part is great! And the end is amazing!!
For me it will be beauty and the beast.
It combines everything that Dreams has (except the fire effects).
But it makes use of the fountains a lot, has great fireworks and the music is amazing :)

Haha I distinctly remember shouting 'WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' at the firework finale the first time I saw it live!
Ahahah!!! I still say "whoaaaa" every time at the end, even if I have already watched it about 8 times live and a million times online, ahahah!!!
Are the lightears still in operation at dlrp
Yes, if you buy one ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
So to say - buy - so the others can enjoy. I don't buy. ;D
I wonder if the light ears are popular in the other parks. It seems like very few people are buying them at DLP!
It seems to me - it is not the right way of distributing these ears. Maybe collecting a deposit will be better and more people will use them. After the show who want can bring them back and get a refund, not 100% required. Something like that ... ::)

Nice idea! To tell you the truth, I find them to be a bit expensive because they can only be used for Dreams and nothing else. I prefer to spend this amount to purchase a collectible.
Yes, absolutely! Even my 9 years old daughter came to this conlusion (we were ready to buy if she ensisted soooo much) and said - better buy something more valuable or useful.
Tangled makes me cry. but I also love be our guest and the lion king.
Unfortunately Brave was not a hit with DD2 as she is scared of the film so when she saw Merida she cried.

Ha I think the kids will have a thing to say about that :) do you know what they cost ?
20 euros.
I think it's a shame with how expensive the Lightears are. They look really lovely during the show, but not many people get to see them as no one wants to buy them. Like everyone said, it makes a lot more sense to spend that 20 euros on a valuable collection piece. Personally, I wear my standard Minnie ears and buy something else as well. I particularly like the idea of perhaps putting a deposit down, or even if DLP offered a loan service on them, but then I'd be afraid that a lot of people would take advantage of this and take them anyway =/
Also such a shame that DD2 cried at Brave! I hope she got to enjoy the rest of the show though? =)
I see it like this:
If they make loan/deposit for 20 euros and when you bring them back and they are not broken - they pay you back for example 19 euros/18 euros....

ooh, i didn't think of it that way! I saw it as a deposit of maybe 10 euros and then if you want them you just pay the extra 10. That would be a good idea though..charge 20 for loan and then you just get most of it or all of it back when you bring them back undamaged! =D
my two have the light ears and love wearing them round the park after dark...my daughter is 16 now and son 9 and we have been going since she was 16 months old , every year they would want a new spinny light toy to watch the parade with and they are about €14 / €18 a time...so i think if you compare the €20 isnt so bad really and they can bring them back every year as well..

That is true! It's certainly an investment if you go to the parks often, and I've heard that they also work in other parks? Do you think they will have plans to incorporate them into the night show after Dreams has finished?

I, too, agree that for someone who visits the park often is a good investment. But as far as the show atmosphere is concerned, a dozen light ears don't do the trick. The video of Dreams where members of the press were given the light ears is spectacular, I wish it was like this every night.

I think I know which one you mean...is it by DLRP Magic! on YouTube? Because I agree, if it was like that every night it would be amazing!
It's a shame that DLP didn't think of an alternative way to selling the ears so that it could be like that every night. It would be another idea if you got a pair of Light Ears for each person staying in one of Disney Hotels (example a family of 3 would receive 3 pairs) and for anyone travelling in for the day you could pick a pair up at City Hall for a deposit. We can only dream =(

Yes, that one! ;)
Genie sequence. Show's the tech at its best.
Gotta say the Second Star to the Right segments, it always makes me tear up with joy.
I love it all and didn't think that the brave scene would work , but I love the arrow that she fires and it goes round the trees...
Also love the tangled scene , I always we'll up
And I didn't realize how much I liked the hunchback scene , till the kids were watching the film in the front roomand I was cooking in the kitchen and that song came on and took me straight back and I filled up again , just wanting to be home...
I have seen it SO many times now, and every time I still struggle to hold back emotions.
I personally love brave, villains and hunchback!
I See the Light. Its nice how they show other Disney couples.
"I See The Light" & "Out There" are both '3 hankie' moments for me. Can't work out quite why, but I love the fact that Disney are so great at creating those moments ;) :'( ;)

I bow down to those creative souls =D
Is dreams still on every night? I can't wait to see it again, we saw it on our first night last time and both my husband and I felt we had our money's worth just from that show!
Yes, it is still running, for sure - till the end of September. Some say it will go on after that.
I love Brave and Hunchback, the Tangled scene is lovely too oh and second star to the right :D ...all of it?! ;D

Same here :')
It's so hard to choose! I suppose I love different elements for different reasons.
The bit that made me cry was the Tangled scene. I cried during that scene at the cinema. I stood no chance with Dreams! I love Merida and what she stands for and I loved seeing her in the park in some form.
The. Hunchback of Notredame scene was just so fitting for the park, and that film has some truly underrated songs! The Lion King and Aladdin scenes just completely reminded me of my childhood, and 'the other side' just because it's awesome!!
Can you tell I have a hard time picking?! ;)

Same! Merida is one of my favourite characters in the whole of Disney. I don't understand why they do not have her in the parades or in the pavilion when she is an official Disney Princess. I get that they don't have Pocahontas and Mulan etc because of popularity, but Brave is such a new film and many people really love it and Merida.
The second star to the right part......wow, I actually sobbed.
Also, the Tangled lanterns, and Be Our Guest. Lumiere is my favourite and the kids and I really sing and dance along to that part ;D
I listened to 'The First Time in Forever' in the car the other day and realised it would be awesome in Dreams, especially when the 'duet' kicks in (picturing Elsa & Anna on each of the fountains...) so this makes it on to my list of favourite songs NOT currently in Dreams!
oh my god, I can see that so perfectly!!!
Whilst I loved the whole thing, the character that stuck out for me was Lumiere although I can't put my finger on why. I must love that sassy candlestick.
The last time I went to DLP was December 2004 so I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait to see it when I go in September - reading all your posts it sounds like I'm really in for a treat ;D ;D

Thank you - I'll be delighted to ;D
Definitely the end when Captain Hook appears. I love the big firework and the music in this scene most ;)
I love the beginning when they sing "The Second Star To The Right"!
Plus- the huge fireworks at the end !!
But actually the whole show LOL
There are so many parts to choose from that are spectacular but my top three (as I can't pick just one!) are the Tangled scene (gets me choked up everytime!), the jungle book and Aladdin (as I do like a
Good sing song and them parts are brilliant with the castle made to look like it's shooting off in a firework or wobbling like a pile of bricks!! Plus they always get my foot tapping and dancing! My eldest absolutely loves The Princess and The Frog scene and my youngest, tangled.
