Does anyone have any clarification when the pool and other amenities will be reopen in the NBC? Different websites suggest beginning of Oct, others end of Nov? I understand these are estimates, but we are visiting last week in Oct and would like some clarification from a reliable resource. Help!

The price for Nov at Newport is pretty cheap so I'm assuming it's due to the refurb. Is it worth staying there while it's being refurbished or best to stay elsewhere? X
We decided just because of this price reducement to stay there in september. We asked to get a refirbished room if possible. They say the works are not disturbing the visitors. I hope that it will be so. ::)
