Who's going :-
Me - 35 going on 8. This will be my 6th Time.
Hubby - 29 going on 8. His 4th time and he's early 30th Present
DD1- 5Yrs her 2nd time and princess mad.
DD2 - 2Yrs 2nd time but she was in pram last year and slept though most of it, Rapunzel and Tinkerbell mad.
Grandma - 70, My mum and her 4th time.
Nanny Wales - 58, Mother-in-Law and her 1st time.
Driving up to Ashford on Sunday 30th March (Mothering Sunday) and staying at the Premier Inn and have a table booked at the Beefeater.
Catch the 10.58 Eurostar to Disney in Premier Standard.
After this I have no plans about what we are going to do really,
When we arrive we will walk around, stop and get a new pen for Autographs (Will use the book from last year) and do the Disney railroad and small world, then we may walk to hotel (Sequoia Lodge) and check in then head back to park and watch Parade and then after head to King Ludwigs for happy hour and food. Then back to Park for maybe a ride or two, followed by watching Dream's ( and I will cry again like I did every time we watched last year. DD1 and now DD2 faces will be a picture) We will then walk (very slowly) back to hotel and may stop in at the bar for a drink.
The days that follow will be up for breakfast at 7-7.30am, then EMH, rides, Meet n Greets and eating good food walking between park and studio. We will have to do studio tram tour on second day as they close it on our third day there. The Grandmas want to do a Paris tour on one day and we are hoping they will have the DD's so we can do a few of the thrill rides.
DD1 wants to do Buffalo Bills but I haven't booked as I think she will find it to noisy so we are hoping she'll forget about it.
We are hoping to watch Dreams every night.
One thing we won't be doing is the Car stunt show as we so disappointed with it last year.
If it rains we will swim back at the hotel.
On the last day we'll do so more rides and then do some shopping before we board the train.
Staying at Premier Inn in Ashford again then heading home on the Saturday.
Oh yes and can't wait to see the Spring Festival take shape and hopeful a soft opening on the day we leave.
The only worry is Chickenpox has been doing the round in DD1 Class but so far no sign and it was 12 days since the last case, so I'm hoping we are in the clear.
Have even started putting the clothes I think the kids may wear to one side. Just waiting for weather forecast nearer the time so I know which coats we will be taking.
Can't wait now, sooooo excited. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Awww I'm excited for you just reading that! ;D Have a lovely time. I wanted a Paris trip last year when we went but got outvoted 3 to 1 in favour of more time in Disneyland. ::) ;D
Hi there.
We are there 2-8 April, my 12th trip.
Hubby 12th
DD 8 - 11th trip
DS 6 - 9th trip
DD 1 - 2nd
We are staying at the cheynne this time not stayed there for a good few years I think my son will love it.
My sister and family along with my mum and dad are staying at the sequoia lodge. They are coming home 2 days before us.
I also want to start packing, have got our snacks together and toiletries but this weather is a nightmare could need big winter coats and summer jackets within a space of a day so I think packing will be quite a challenge.
Looking forward to seeing the spring festival..
Jackie
7 days to go, girls clothes are in suit case already. The rest I will pack friday then re pack Saturday night :-[
Looking at weather at the moment, going with fleeces but packing our rain coats and trousers.
One thing is nappys, DD2 gets though around 7 a day and thats a lot to take for 5 days. I know there's a hypermarket but I can't see us having time to go just for nappys, so question, does anyone know if hotel shops sales packs of size5+/6? I know they had size 4 last year but can't remember seeing bigger sizes.
I realised I lied,
I do have some thing planned during this trip.
To try a Glowtini. Heard sooo much about them but never tried. Can't wait. ;D
:D I am planning on having a Glowtini too!
We're going April 9th and from the forecast i've seen, it appears a cold front is coming! brrrr I'm starting to put clothes to the side and see what i will pack.
I will be looking forward to read a TR when you come back!

Hi
So excited now too. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
weather looking good for us with only the odd shower, but it changes daily. :-\
Yes, I must have checked the weather a Million Times... its decision time soon! To winter coat or waterproof jacket? That is the question!!
We have the ponchos, so it's winter coat with ponchos on top! ;)
Most definitely going to need layers when waiting for dreams. It's chilly just standing around.
X
Looked at weather today and highs of 20 and lows of 11. with showers on the Friday but early.
So Fleeces and rain jackets.
5 Days to go. 4 until we drive across to Ashford
Not long you must be so exited! Hope you all have a fantastic trip and I look forward to reading your report when your back :)
you are almost there! :) Hope you have a wonderful time!
2 sleeps until we leave for Ashford and 3 sleeps until we go to Disney.
Soooooooooooooo excited now, just doing the last of washing and ironing. putting the things I think we need into cases and bags today, then I pack and re pack tomorrow once the girls are in bed.
Weather looks warm with the odd shower here and there, and not to cold at night, while we watch Dreams.
DD1 has been watching Tangled and Sleeping Beauty on repeat and DD2 will want Cinderella on when she gets home from school.
Tomorrow will be Disney Films and Music all day.
At least DD1 didn't get the chickenpox, but just a throat and mild ear infection and is on penicillin of which she will take her last dose on the Eurostar on Monday. So at least we won't be kept awake with very bad snoring and coughing from her while we are away.
May have convinced hubby to let us go next Feb. half term and stay in the Disneyland Hotel. ;) ;)
Did I say I'm sooooo exited ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
