What? you scream in your hordes as you notice the title of this thread, "Star Tours is dated" you might tell yourself, or "the animatronics don't work as well as they used to" or "the ride feels clunky". well I feel they should simply spruce it up. people forget this is the only original star tours in the world left. Maybe if they fix some of the animatronics, make the simulator a little more fluid and make the queue a little more futuristic, maybe it'll be restored to former glory. So I implore you Dlrp, never change this classic, just help it back on the road to glory.
Or maybe do what you said, add some Destinations from Adventure Continues and keep the Endor Express. Simples!
Do you not like the adventure continues?
I'd drop the 3D but I thought it was much better, especially since you never quite know what you're going to see. I feel they hold quite true to the original nature of the ride.

But then there's the problem of c-3po being the pilot and not rex.
We do kinda need rex ;D
Why don't they just keep Rex by voicing over the new possibilities of journey
A bit like Phantom Manor where they made it different from the other versions.
not a bad idea at all.
The ride feels dated and I would love to see the update. I hate to see Rex go but it really needs the update in my opinion.

Rex is always the thing that made the ride special, because he's an original character.
Something that will probably never happen but what would be fun is Rex at the end of the queing are giving boarding tips/advice.
That sounds awesome.
Star Tours has always been a favourite of mine, and if updating it would ensure it staying, I could live with that, as long as it isn't too different.
I would miss the film they have, I know every bit of it!
I was thinking, if they update the hydraulics for a smoother ride, replace the projection screens with digital screens and do something about that godawful netting for the bags they have it would easily be a lot better. I do think though that at least one park in the world should retain the original just for unique quality's sake.

Agreed, the ride feels so rough and unrealistic movements. and plus it sounds like the star-speeder roof will collapse.
Also update the queue line, make it seem like the Terminal your visiting is fully operational eg: Tannoy announces Arriving Flights, Final Calls and Departures also briefly mentioning Flight 45 - The Endor Express.
