Title: The Bellhops (CMs) of the Tower of Terror

Just a question about the Cast Members that run the attraction, Tower of Terror.
What is the backstory of the Bellhops? Why are they still inside the hotel when everyone evacuated it 75 years ago? Is the idea that they are 'waiting for you'?
