Just like with magic shows are you the tye of person who wants to know behind the scenes things and how the magic is created or do you prefer to keep the magic and mystery?
I love watching behind the scenes videos and taking backstage tours. I have always been fascinated with how things are done. I feel it celebrates and thanks the many many hard working and talented people who have created everything we see and do while in the park
Do you feel it spoils the Disney atmosphere to know how things are done?

Personally no it doesnt, ask my parents and they will tell you as a child I used to take things apart then put them back together, I love knowing how it all works. Gives me a real sense of amazement and appreciation when you know the lengths they go to to make Disney special. That said my wife leaves the room whenever I watch something like this because for her it spoils the magic.

Exactly thats how I feel too :)
No it doesn't spoil it for me, I love watching behind the scene programmes whether it be Disney or some other magical programme. It also helped us be more creative when my son was young; whether helping to make something for school projects or painting a Disney mural on all 4 walls of his bedroom, for us the more of these programmes the better understanding we had.
If you want to see it in action try doing a ride looking backwards. I always do IASW once like this, apart from the fact that it freaks out the people in the boat behind you ;D , you can see how all the moving dolls are worked. Same thing applies to POTC.
