Title: Help with pins, please!
Post by: idylles on September 16, 2013, 02:51:01 PM
Hi guys, I need your help (I hope this is allowed in this board).

I won't bore you with sentimental stuff, I'll be short, if that's okay.  My mum and I used to be very active pin traders, always in the park, waiting for traders, etc...  My mother collected the 100 Mickeys by Eric Robison and I think she got about 70 of them.  By the time we stopped being that active in Paris (we have to admit, it's so expensive), we also sold the collection because we needed the money.

But now, a few years older, I've fallen in love with those Mickeys again and I decided to take on the adventure of collecting them again. :D

What I'm really trying to say is; I would appreciate any help I can get!  I can still trade a few pins, or buy and I'm always willing to make/take offers as well.  I know it won't convince most traders, but it would mean the world to me if I could collect them again.

Thanks in advance!

Well yes, or anyone who can point me in a direction really, any help.

(btw:  I didn't know if this is allowed on this board, to ask for trades and such, sorry if it isn't, I couldn't find any specific rules.)

I think my biggest question is how I can trade.  I know Pinpics and I have an account there, but it doesn't seem so personal, you know?  It's from a distance and you just say yes or no to an offer, I can never negotiate something.  What would be another good way to find these pins?  Any other pin trading sites?

Unfortunatly none that i'm aware of, but the users here are nice enough and maybe ask moderator here to set up a pin trading thread.
