Title: Traveling around Paris
Post by: ednamode on September 15, 2013, 07:08:57 PM
Hello! I've been looking at this site while planning a Disney trip and it's been really helpful. :D

I just have a quick question about travelling around Paris! I know that we can easily get a train from Disneyland Paris to Paris itself (Gare de Lyon), the RER A, but I was wondering if the 5 zone Paris Visite card is valid on both this train service and on the Paris Metro system?

Just trying to work it out now to save some confusion on the day haha. Thanks!

Yes but for DO NOT BUY a Paris Visite card, buy a zones 1-5 mobilis card, its the same thing and a lot cheaper

Wow, definitely a whole lot cheaper. Around 10€ cheaper! We probably won't be needing any of the Visite Paris discounts so Mobilis seems like a much better option.

That's great, thanks a lot! :D

Most attractions are best bought in advance anyway, for places like the Louvre etc you dont save any money but you have the potential to save hours of time
