Hi as were going to Disneyland Paris in may 2014, was wondering if anyone knows what to except there as in are they going to exten the 20th anniversar, new rides, characters, shops etc anything really, thank you
Well...Ratatouille: Kitchen Calamity will be open, that's in Walt Disney Studios and at the end of Toy Story Playland, through the Barrel of Monkeys.
Oh and the 20th Anniversary will NOT be happening then, but you got a whole NEW area to explore including a resturant, ride and maybe, a chocolatiers!

chocolatiers? that sounds amazing :o
Yes, I think that was from Disney Gazette, I'm not sure.
What is chocolatier??

It's a shop where you can buy chocolate. But not your standard chocolate bars, but fancy shapes en tastes.
So basicly a fancy chocolate store
A chocolatier is a shop that specialises in chocolate.

Oh. Was hoping something a bit more exciting. X
Is the disney dreams definitely gonna be cancelled?? DLP has been extending it for quite a while now so maybe fingers crossed [-o< it'll be next year too!! I'm going march 31 to 3 April and I'm so hoping the dreams will still be showing. I've seen it last year but am hoping to see the new version!! X :D
No Disney Dreams! unfortunately, it ends this October.
I don't think it ends in October, but it won't be on every night like now. that's what I thought. I'd be surprised if they cut the show altogether, most big shows and parades run for at least five years or more at DLP. And when you think of the amount of money Disney must of invested in Dreams, they aren't going to just cut it after 18 months. But it might only be on at certain times of the year. Just my hunch. It could run for years with new scenes.
It won't be cancelled! They're planning a christmas special and everything. I imagine it'll be cut to weekends only in low season and then daily during High.
Maybe they will drop the whole 20th anniversary thing and keep dreams. Like some others said it cost alot and could do it for years... a friend of a friend did say dreams will def be on till at the least the end of the year.
I agree that they rarely cut shows after a year/18mths. Not a good return on investment. The clever thing to do, as suggested above, would be to repackage and re-launch every now and again. Get a good marketing impact for very little extra cost, and get us all going back to see the new version.
I really hope Disney do a bit more for 2014, there are always little things you missed but my daughter and I are running out of excuses to give to Dad to return each year.
I really hope they add in somemore charactor options like a New charactor meal to replace Tea Party, Brave meet and greet or even a charactor meal option at HNY. A new show would be great too. [-o<
Dream isn't going anywhere, if anything it will be shown for only a few nights a week.
It's been reported now it's daily till September 2014
When does the Ratatouille ride open?
