That's indeed a brilliant pic. :)

But seriously, whats wrong with the wand? Okay, I see that the font of "Epcot" is wrong, but its not awful is it? I liked the twinkling effect when I stood in front of it. Although I wouldn't mind if they get rid of it, I think that the Sorcerer's Hat at Disney-MGM looks far worse. Beside that, Disney should focus on some other areas of Future World at the moment. Some areas are in need of a spruce up and/or an update. Once that is finished, they can pay attention to taking down the wand.

LOL brilliant pic! i would be sad to see the wand go as it fits quite well in the whole new updated epcot but i still think theyve gone to far with the seas

Oh good, I hate that wand. I never knew it was there until I visited Epcot and when I saw it I went... eurgh :?

Oh, that'd be even better.  I think the hat probably ruins MGM more than the wand ruins Epcot, it just so happens that Epcot seems to have more obsessive fans.  Maybe it'll see some changes when they introduce Pixar Studios?

Maybe they put the hat on top of SSE once the big refurb is over just in time for the grand 25th celebration of EPCOT Center.

I know that it´s Epcot nowadays, but for me it´ll always be EPCOT Center.

Well, they took down the first letters on tuesday. EPCOT Center is now "Epc".
So it´s just an experimental prototype community now. :lol:

I miss it slightly, the SSE just doesn't look the same. But after all these years complaining i'm happy.

I am sad to see the wand go.  I thought it brought together the disney animation aspect and the technology of Spaceship Earth. :cry:
