I wonder if there is a ride you have never been of? And why?
For me it is Autopia.
Knowing that these little cars are comming from Italy and loving all italian cars- it's very surprising for me never been on this one. But allways having long waiting lines it never attracted me as it also looks like to be on the very far edge of Discovery Land and in some kind of a hollow.
There was another one: Mad Hatter's Tea Cups.
But at my 12th stay last December it happened. I was on my own, already dark and cold.
As there was no waiting time I decided to give it a try for the first time. And must admit that it had really something magical spinning around with these lampions/lanterns on the roof.
Next time I'll do it again :-)
Curious now to read your stories.
Never did the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop^^ :( didn't want to wait over an hour for this...
Autopia i did for the first time last year... it was quite nice because you really had to drive yourself instead of just sitting there :)
There's quite a lot actually.
Big Thunder mountain- I have been on the one in Florida, but never the one in Paris. Often considered it but the lines are allways too long- and in general roller coasters are not what I prefer spending my time on in DLRP- more of a dark ride/shows/parades person.
Tower of terror- I dont really enjoy scary/creepy things in general- and not too good with free fall-type of rides. Went on one at 65 metres in Denmark once- no need to revisit that feeling again.
Toy story playland- only been to DLRP once since TSP opened and didn't get to visit that area at all. Def something Im determined to do when I go in 2 weeks
Star tours, Orbitron, Nautilus- Discoveryland is probably the land I have spent least time in (Apart from looking at the cute merchandise haha) and these are rides that have never appealed to me- a little curious about Nautilus but heard its very scary.
Like DisneyDancer, there are a few I haven't been on
Tower of Terror-I hate lifts and even though I know it's safe it still seems horrible to me!
RC Racer - not too fond of that one!
Indiana Jones - My Dad went on it when it went backwards and he didn't feel too brilliant afterwards. It's put me off for life!
Autipoia - it's almost aways been closed! :(
Casey Jr - same thing
Flying carpets and Slinky dog. I think that's it!
I did go on Space mountain for the first time last year though! Very proud of myself :D
Quote from: "Cara"I did go on Space mountain for the first time last year though! Very proud of myself :D
Brave one :-D
Did you enjoy the ride? Would you next time again?
I remember my first time in the canon pretty well..
I love that short silent moment before blast off!!!!
I've also never been on Autopia, queues to long.
I've recently been able to do a lot of the rides i had never been on.
Summer 2012- I finally got to go on Dumbo- got soaked in the process but worth it :) .
Christmas 2011 - Got to do Orbitron. That was fun getting in an out with an injured knee haha The picture taken by my dad was hilarious :D
Christmas 2010- i finally got to go on the Carousel, had to stand the following year because i hurt my knee and my daughter had broken her collar bone so had to be her support.
Never been on or will ever go on Terror Towers- i don't like normal elevators(lifts) so you won't get me going on one that drops 100mph on purpose haha
Don't do any of the roller coasters now :-( except Thunder Mountain, my head can't take it. I used to love Aerosmith! For the same reason i've not been on Mad Hatter's tea cups.
I leave it all to my 10year old who is an adrenaline junkie. I'm happy to go on the small rides with my 6 year old who does not do fast rides.

The parachute drop is over very quick considering the wait you have. Been on it twice, not keen so try to do when i've not had my lunch because i prefer that to stay where i have put it :) My eldest likes to point out the sky line and the planes passing by, i prefer not to look  She went on it with her broken collar bone in 2011. She thinks it is tame.
We as a family have 3 levels of this!
As a family combined we have been on everything except the flying carpets because they are the same as Dumbo and have always been closed the 2 times we have all been! :)
My dad has been on everything - crazy guy! He was determined to go on everything!
Me -Tangled13 -writing under my mums login! I've been on everything except The Tower Of Terror (the thought terrifies me), Space Mountain, RC Racer (too much like a Pirate Boat ride - yuck) and slinky Dog! Although I may do Space Mountain in March! -Is it better than Areosmith, which made me a tad wobbly legged? :)
My mum, bless her doesn't really like the big rides, she goes more for the atmosphere however she has been on BTM (she loves it now) although she will not go on anything that spins - an accidental ride on Crush's Coaster made her green!
Quote from: "Little mermaid 240"Although I may do Space Mountain in March! -Is it better than Areosmith, which made me a tad wobbly legged? :)
In my oppinion Space Mountain is even more intense than Aerosmith... and it's rather uncomfortable too, because the security thingy pushes really hard on my sholders during the ride... No such problem at Aerosmith... Despite the fact that my heart almost stops everytime the ride launches :D but it always puts a big smile on my face :)
My mum is really similar to Tangled130's, we've never ridden Space Mountain, Aerosmith, Indiana Jones or RC Racer but she loved BTM! Also neither Tower of Terror because I don't like big drops... but Parachutes was quite fun! :D

I have to say I was terrified!
It was in February and they had only just re-opened the ride because the brakes had frozen!
I think I would do it again but I was so scared!
Ah nooo canon was the scariest part because I didn't know what was going to happen!
It was fun though :D

Ha ha, funny but these are excact the rides I still wasn't too until today.
Maybe next time I'll give them a shoot.
For me...
Big Thunder (looks like too many drops and dips for me)
Space Mountain (see above)
Indy (I'm sure you can guess why!)
Autopia (never interested me)
Tower (freefall drops - just a no no)
Carpets (Been on Dumbo, no need to do this)
Crush (seen the track when constructed... that was enough to put me off)
RnRc (see Space/Thunder)
I actually did every ride at least once, but some I just did not do a second time, like orbitron and Indiana jones
Quote from: "Rocketeer"For me...
Big Thunder (looks like too many drops and dips for me)
If you once want to give a roller coaster a try Big Thunder would be a good start.
My sister, avoiding all of them like you, loves Big Thunder. Even so much that it is the first ride she wants to go at our next visit :-D
I don't like coasters where you have the feeling to be at an enormous hight. Big Thunder avoids this feeling with its wonderful themening.
i dont think there is a ride we havnt been on at least once.... autopia took us a long time to do because we tend to visit in late janurary when its closed, but we finally got it done in 2008, and will get to do it again net visit.
I've never been on Orbitron or Slinky dog. No reason, other than we never got around to them.
I haven't been since TSPL opened but other than that I haven't been on Armageddon . From the sounds of it I'm not missing much but I'd still like to try it. :D
For my partner I think he's only got TSPL! Armageddon and Orbitron left.
Theres quite a few which surprised me lol.
Aerosmith - first two times I went the queues where huge and I didnt have time, last two times were with my hubby and hes terrified of rollercoasters. Managed to trick him onto space mountain though :p
peter pan, tea cups and quite a few of the younger rides in fantasyland. They never appealed to me before kids, after kids my husband took my daughter on these while I took my daredevil son onto BTM :)
Studio tram tour - been 4 times and its always closed! Due to be closed this time too.
TOT - Im determined to do it this time! First few times I went it wasn't there, but loved the idea of the US one. Then after it was built we booked a trip for just before our sons first birthday :) Yey I thought I'll finally get to go on it! Then I found out I was pregnant again. Not really a good idea to do something like that when 8 months pregnant so obviously gave it a miss.
I have just realised, i havnt been on the cars rally ride thats near crush yet.... guess that needs to be remedied next trip :P
I never did
Parchute drop
RC racer
and
ToT (did the one in Florida and hated it :-" )
I've never done Orbitron, no particular reason though. I've done Dumbo and the Carpets and they're not my favourite rides, so I've never felt like queuing for Orbitron... And there's also a little bit of, while I haven't done Orbitron, I'll always have an excuse to go back ;)
In the Studios I've never done Slinky Dog (not a big fan of those kind of rides, but I'm sure I'll get round trying it sometime), and I've never been in Playhouse Disney (but I will when we go next and take our little daughter, I think she'll quite enjoy that!)
I have never done:
Phantom Manor (do not like "gostly things")(ToT, I didn`t like the gost part to much, but the drop... scared me like hell, but afterwards was fun)
R`n R Coaster (want to try.... eventually)
Autopia
Star tours
the only attractions I havent done are ones that are no longer there - the old mill and the canoes ( although I have ridden the keelboats ). Ive even done Playhouse Disney, and as a 38 year old man my family thought I was strange but i wanted to experience it :-)
gosh quite a few, most things in WDS really, I think the only things I have been on in WDS are the tram tour and Armageddon
Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, BTM, Buzz Light year, and Im sure theres alot more
Well, funny you should ask really, I have created a mission called: Mission: Opening New Doors which hopefully will be successfully completed.
Here is the list
The Hollywood Tower Hotel AKA Tower of Terror - Booking Arranged
Ratatouille: Kitchen Calamity - Not Open, Dinner Reservation Made
Space Mountain: Mission 2 - Space Training in progress, 50% Complete
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril - Currently Heading to Temple

That is all of 'em!
I've never done
Dumbo and The Flying Carpets
Autopia
The Parachute Drop
RC Racer
Rock n Roller Coaster.
I have never done:
Orbitron: don't know why...
Princess Pavillion and Meet Mickey Mouse: always too much wait.
Horse drawn streetcars and Main Street vehicles: we usually go in the parc too late!!
Playhouse Disney: maybe it's most for little children.
Cars Rallye: again don't know why.
Rc Racer: we don't like a lot that kind of ride.
Most of them will be in my must do list next time, eheheh!!!
Having finally been at the park when Autopia's been open with a tolerable queue, I've done everything in DLP ;D
Not that I'm in any hurry to go back on Space Mountain or Indie - way too much having my head thrashed around for my liking. Which is why I've never done Aerosmith.
RC Racer has never appealled enough to want to queue, and ToT makes queasy thinking about. I went onto the parachute drop for the first time on my trip last week and that was as close as I want to get to freefall (also single rider line = win).
Autopia, simply because I don't like cars. Don't own or ride one either.
The only missing ride is the River Rogue Keelboats...
Only been able to this this wonderful boat ride ones, when they reopened the ride for the 15th birthday of the park. Lucky me. Shame they keep it closed.
Well, as we have only been once, and the boys were only 3 and 5 when we went, there are quite a few rides we have never done....
* We haven't fully explored La Cabane des Robinson
* Indiana Jones (which will be closed next time we go, so will be missing out again)
* Pirates of the Carribean (which we will definitely be going on next)
* Phantom Manor (not sure the kids will enjoy it, but me and DH are definitely going in next time - my mum is coming as well, so she will wait outside with the boys)
* Thunder Mesa Riverboat (closed last time, but hope to go on it next time)
* Big Thunder Mountain (closed last time, but will definitely be going on it next time)
* Disney Railroad (extremely long waiting time last time, but hope to go on it next time)
* Gallery of the castle + Dragon (closed last time, but want to see it next time)
* Alice's labyrinth (closed last time, but will be open in March, yay!)
* Star Tours
* Captain EO (will also be closed in March)
* Nautilus
* Space Mountain
* Autopia
* Cinemagique (definitely want to do this next time)
* Tower of Terror (my mum will definitely want to go on this, so might be brave and go in with her, and leave DH outside with the boys..... maybe....... give me strength....!)
* Armageddon
* Rock n' Roller coaster
* Moteurs Action
* Crush's Coaster (min. 50 mins wait through our entire week there last time. And it will be closed next time we go... Gutted... )
* Art of Disney animation
* Parachute drop (the kids were too young and didn't fancy it last time, but might go on it next time)
*RC Racer (again, the kids were too young, and don't really like that type of rides, just makes me feel sick....... :P )
Christ, there are many when you list them like this... But definitely going to make a dent in this list next time we go... Just a shame about Crush being closed when we go next. Still, it could be worse... It could have been one of their favourite rides... And as they haven't tried Crush yet, they don't know what they're missing I guess.......
never done :
orbitron
keel boats
parachute drop
swiss cabin
autopia
I have been to the park 14 times, and the first time when I was 3 years old so I can't remember everything
But from what I remember
the studios:
Cars quarte Roues Rally (It wasn't there when I was little and today I think the queues are way to long for such a attraction)
Disney life on stage (again it wasn't there when I was little and I have no kids so no desire to see that)
The disneyland parc:
the river rogue keelboats (it seems they are always closed, maybe I went on when I was little, cant remember, should ask my parents)
meet mickey (the queues ate always to long, but love to go once)
the princes pavilion (same here)
I haven't been on:
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Tower Of Terror
Rock n' Roller Coaster
Indiana Jones
Crush's Coaster
RC Racer
Armageddon
CineMagique
Phantom Manor
Disney Junior
Princess Pavillion
Star Tours
Parachute Drop
Wow... That's a lot when you look at it like that. Main reason being I'm just not into big thrills. Also, when I was younger I was never interested in meeting princesses and now I would only do so if the lines were short, which they never are! And ever since it was built I've been out of the general age of interest for Disney Junior. I've highlighted the ones I may go on in the future, any advice for the rides?

Phantom Manor has a really cool atmosphere :)
Not a fan of big thrills myself...Never went on space mountain and Indy but I'll try next time (someone feel free to give advice for that one hehe)! However Star Tours is great (don't forget, you don't really do the drops etcetera so no fear!) and Big Thunder Mountain is amazing, the most fun ride I've had (so far) it's really easy going but still a little exciting. No big drops :) just smooth turns (hard to discribe). Believe me just go on the ride and, well, go with the flow! You will enjoy yourself!
I have never got to ride Crush Coaster. The queue has always been ridiculous when I have been in the park. Will make it a must for my next visit in March.
@orsie Go on Parachute Drop, it isn't that bad and the view is amazing! My mum loves it and she once tried Crush's Coaster thinking it was a smooth childish ride but, oh how she was wrong!

I've never done Space Mountain!
I soooo want to do it but I'm too scared. I've done Indy, is it the same or more intense? :-\

Oh definitely do Phantom Manor! My Mum hates rides, took me ages to persuade her to go on it and now it's one of her favourite rides. Also cinemagique is really fun and interesting, definitely suggest you go and see that at least once :)
Anyway the rides I've never done -
Disneyland Park:
- Space Mountain
- BTM
- Indiana Jones
- Star Tours
- Captain EO
- The Kheel Boat things in river mesa
Studios:
- Parachute Drop
- Crushes Coaster
- RC Racer
- TOT
- Aerosmith Coaster
I think that's everything. Up until recently I was an enormous wimp when it came to rides, I've been about five times and when we last went in December I only managed the courage to get on POC again after hating it when I was much younger (didn't expect the drops :-[ ) but now I love it ;D .
So that explains why I haven't been on some rides, but I plan on doing BTM, Star Tours and possibly Indy if I can muster the courage.
I don't think I'll be able to ever get on space mountain or crushes coaster though! Bit sad that we missed out on seeing EO in December as it's now closed, but oh well!

I'm the opposite. I've done Space Mountain, but never done Indy.
The thought of Space Mountain makes me a bit worried, but when you're on the ride its fantastic - I really like it. I'd say the first bit of Space Mountain where you get fired into space is the most intense bit.
Indy looks too intense for me, and it's somewhere in the park that I always avoid going. I'd like to ride on it, but I don't think I ever will. :-[

Hm, I tought Indy would be easier than Space Mountain! Okay, you have the loop, but for the rest of the ride it seems kinda ok. Whereas Space Mountain... I don't know what to expect. Except horror maybe :P
I've never done Orbitron or Slinky Dog. No real reason, than just never having had time. They will both be on our list for our next visit.

The thing that gets me about Indy is that it's outside and you can see where you are. Eek.
With Space Mountain, you're inside all of the time apart from the launch sequence. So you don't know what to expect, but for me, that's a bonus ;D
Dumbo!
I don't think I'm missing much.
Also technically, La Plage des Pirates and Pocahontas Indian Village, but maybe that's for the best. ;)
Just back this week from our 3 rd visit and managed to do phantom mansion , space mountain and rock and roll coaster .
The only thing we've not done is stitch live show and Indy ( was closed this year ) , last year the queue was too long and 3 years the kids didn't fancy it and I didn't want to ride alone !
Also got to do POTC this year as last 2 trips it was closed
There is only one ride I have never been on, RC Racer. The only reason is that I don't like half pipes
Only ride I've never done is R.C and nor do I want too! Looks fab, great theme but I think I'd throw up. Give me TOT, Rock n roller or space mountain anyday! But R.C no thanks.....
Only thing I've never did is Playhouse Disney / Disney Junior Live on stage
I've never done Peter Pan's Flight..
The Queues are always too long for it and does't really interest me, however I might make an effort when I go this year.

The parachute drop. The lines are always too long.
There a few we've never done, but one i don't think i will ever do is tower of terror. Theming is amazing and all, but i hate heights and i don't enjoy the dropping feeling.
As far as rollercoasters go i draw the line at btm which i love! ;)

I hate that feeling also and I didn't do it for years, then my dad braved it and he hates most rides he come of it and loved it. I dared to do it and it wasnt half as bad as I expected now I have riden it many times and laugh the whole way through lol. I really never thought I'd do it mind you!
I've never done the stunt show, and looking at people opinions of how it's gone down hill recently, i'm not sure i'll try and fit it in this time i go.

Just got back from DLP pixiedust - I rode the RC Racer! It is brilliant fun, I am only sorry I didn't do it earlier I definitely recommend giving it a go ;D
In the park - Autopia, Indiana Jones.
In the Studios - Tower Hotel, Crush Coaster.
I guess I have a problem with the vestibular system ;D
Our last visit was the first time I had visited "Storybook Land" and rode Casey Jr and the boat ride. I really enjoyed both.
One attraction that I always seem to miss is The Nautillus. I know it's kind of a "nothing" ride but I always appreciated the theming of the ride. I am also a big "League of Extraordinary Gentleman" fan so anything Nemo is good for me!
There are certain rides we tend to miss - Aladdin's Carpets for example - mostly due to timing issues.
Did anyone here ride The Old Mill whilst that was still operational?
I have never done Nautilus either and I kept reminding myself that we must do it during our February trip, but still forgot to. Nor have I ever done The parachute drop. The queue is always huge. We haven't done the Playhouse Disney show either because both of our children have outgrown them now apparently.....
There's quite a few attractions that I've never done (some are the same for WDW). Since I last visited DLP, I've never been on..
Big Thunder
Space Moutain
Indy
Canal Boats
Autopia
Dumbo
Tea Cups
Adventure Isle
Tower of Terror
RnRc
Cars QRR
Tapis Volents
Stitch Live
(when I look at it like that, its quite a fair amount of WDS)
Most of those are due to them being 'thrills' but some of the others just don't grab my attention.
I have a couple of rides that I haven't been on:
Crush's Coaster
Studio Tram Tour
and of course...
Ratatouille: The Adventure ;D
Never been on:
Mad Hatter's Tea Cups --> I've no problems with all big thrill ride's, but I've already felt dizzy on Cars Quatre Roues Rallye. Sounds strange I know but thats the reason I don't ride this one :-[
Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop --> next trip I fill this blank
Well, not too many, I guess...
Rides:
Autopia - Always found it closed
Casey Jr. - Same reason
Legends of the Wild West - Look above
Dumbos - Afraid of causing problems for...weight reasons... :-[
River Rogue Keelboats - Not even sure if this still exists ...Stitch Live! - Always thought I'd be...out of place, as an adult...!And...that's it! I recently fought and got over my fear of Space Mountain...Once I've done it the first time, I rode it 6 times in 4 days!
Stitch live is amazing and you wouldn't be out if place it's great fun even for adults.
The rides in Toy Story playland... I don't want to wait too long and every time I am in Disneyland, the lines are very long. I would like to go on RC racer though... Maybe next time. ;)
Having just returned from our 3rd trip on Friday, I'm still left with the following:
Crush's Coaster (queue was consistently 60-75 mins)
Sarge's Parachute Drop (I let my wife and kids do that while I took photos)
Peter Pan (why is this ALWAYS the busiest/longest queue??)
As for Stitch Live - that's now 2 out of 3 trips where I have been the adult "victim" of Stitch's prank!!! It's definitely as much for adults as kids though.
2 years ago I was visiting Disneyland with my boy for 3 days. My boyfriend has never visiting Disneyland and I did for like 5 times... I love Les Pays de Contes de Fées and want to show him but it was closed.... to bad :(!!
But oke my boyfriend is 26 years old and all that he loved was Buzz Lightyear and we did it just about 7 times :-X.... and no lucky me cause he won all the 7 times....
Never have I ever experienced Tower of Terror as I chickened out after going on Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and thought an ride that was the same type of ride at a bigger scale wouldn't be great, then on the way home I was talking to a mother who visited with her young daughter and she said how her daughter who was eight managed to do Tower of Terror and she preferred Tower of Terror opposed to Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop so I am tempted to try Tower of Terror when I next visit.
I have also never experienced RC Racer as I can not do rides with the movement of a pirate ship, nor have I experienced Peter Pan's Flight has it was closed on my last visit.
For those who a put off by the queues of Big Thunder Mountain, although the waiting time is say 35 minutes if you go left when the queues separate you have a good chance of cutting that in half. I saw this advice before I visited and I used it every time I went on Big Thunder Mountain and we must have overtaken at least 50 people as most people will automatically go right.
A lot of the rides I haven't done didn't exist when I last went, so I haven't done Crush's Coaster, anything in Toy Story Playland or of course Ratatouille.
But I'm also a bit of a wimp when it comes to rides so I haven't done Space Mountain, Tower of Terror or Indiana Jones cause they all involve things I'm not fond of, big drops, going upside down etc.
I've also never done Tower of Terror, maybe the name put me off as last time I went I was probably about 12/13 years old haha so I was even wimpier, but who knows I might give it a go next time. :)
For me it's Playhouse Disney / Disney Junior at WDS. Not really a ride, but i never did it.
And Armageddon. Okay, I was in there, but as I was a young child, i was scared and had to go out :P
And Space Mountain.
And RC Racer
So, 4. Tooooo many ...
Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Rock 'n Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, RC Racer
...because I'm quite scared of extreme rides. I don't do anything that goes upside down, and other thrill rides will take me some time before I'm brave enough and then I'll love it. :P So next on my list is Tower of Terror! Maybe one day I'll do them all.. Who knows. ::)
And I also haven't done...
Cars Race Rally, Slinky Zig Zag Spin, Playhouse Live on Stage, Flying Carpets over Agrabah
...because I never had/took the time to wait for these. ::) Should do them some time!
Of course I still need to do Ratatouille: The Ride, because it wasn't open before! ;)

I have a couple of rides that I haven't been on:
Crush's Coaster
Studio Tram Tour
and of course...
Ratatouille: The Adventure ;D
I've always love the Tram Tour and would definitely recommend it! But when I last visited (Oct 2013) I found that they had cut the route short :/ There was one bit, for example, where you go through a kind of hall of costumes, and I saw that we passed it but didn't go in.
As for rides I haven't done, I'm not much of a thrill seeker, so I've skipped RC Racer, Space Mountain, Rock N Roller Coaster, Crush's Coaster and Indiana Jones.
I did the Tower and I absolutely loved the beginning bit and the theming is just so beautiful but I hated the drops so much, that even after 7 years I can't bring myself to do it again!
