Just wondering if the guests will sue. I'd love to know what Disney offer as comp. :?:
I am going tomorrow. Hope it's up and running then :-) What do you think?
How exciting!
I would expect the Railroad to be running again by now.
Have a fab time :D
Accidents are always going to happen no matter how many precautions are taken. Just glad it was nothing serious for those involved.
I'm surprised that a detached wagon doesn't stop with emergency breakes anyway.
I'm surprised the Disneyland Railroad is still closed. Wonder how long it is going to be closed for?
Accidents happen; I'm sure the trains were running as normal very soon afterwards.
Has the train re opened yet, We had heard the trains were being fitted with some kind of gate/doors on the carridges, does anyone know if this is true?
I don't know if the trains are running again, but the gates were fitted on the trains when I last visited in October. The fitting has nothing to do with the accident.(//http://i767.photobucket.com/albums/xx319/PeteHawke/DLRP51.jpg)
thanks for the info, we are going at the end of February and wondered what they looked like
They actually slow everything down even more as cast members have to open each gate from outside of the train individually
I just checked the calendar on the official site, the railroad is closed for the month of February and re opens on 2 March
It really seems that tgey have to fix something in a larger style. Maybe equipping all wagons with their own brakes?
