i dont know if i have posted in the right place but oh well, does anybody else have htis game, i got it for christmas and im usually alright at games but im already stuck on this, could anybody help?
what part are you stuck on? i have completed it
its real silly i feel so dumb, its the part with the cards and you have to attack the tower and the three cogs to get alice free, i keep trying and everytime i die, i can usually do games quite well but this is just doing my heading now
:o First attack the Queen of Hearts until she's momentarily knocked out, then focus your attacks on the tower! Send Goofy and Donald after the cards if needed! Assuming you have Donald and Goofy. If you picked the wrong box you may not have them, so you'll need to break the cage where they're locked.
:) I hope this helps! :P I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan! *Has 1, 2 and CoM*
You wanna concentrate on the tower and try to ignore the cards, as they cant be killed anyway, only knocked out. Lock on to one of the cogs on the side of the tower and destroy it before moving on to the next one. Once all the cogs are destroyed, whack the tower a few times and you're done!
Good luck :)
Any other questions on the kingdom hearts games (or Final Fantasy) and I'm more than happy to help-TOTAL professional at these games!
I'm such a geek.......
 Just because we love FF and KH, doesn't mean we're geeks... :P I'm quite proud of my obsession with those games. :D *Collects Final Fantasy figurines and Kingdom Hearts mangas* :o
 I have the strategy guides as well, which is where I pulled that fight info from. :) Boss fights are what you make of them though, so you only need a basic strategy and there's rarely much more to it than that.
@ Masamune
Strategy guides....but that's cheating!
Seriously though, what you say is true-they are what you make of them. With a user name like yours, I knew there was another FF lover on this board!
We stand proud in our obsession together!
;) I only get guides for the pretty pictures. :D People who don't bother with guides don't tend to realise just how gorgeous they are. Most even contain exclusive artwork and such from the game, as well as bios about the characters.
:P I complete the game without the guide first, and then with. I'm always amazed at how much I manage to miss in certain FF games, despite how thorough I am. I didn't even find and unlock Vincent on my first play of FFVII!
8) But yes, the pretty pictures are most important. :x And I hate Jiminy Cricket, so the KH Guide was a major must.
thanks, i havent had a game like this before im more of a crash badicot person but i really enjoyed this game whilst i could do it  i have tried just focusing on the tower and managed to get two cogs of with the help og gooofy and donald and i also read on a guide to just focus on the tower and let them two deal with the cards but they kept killing me! i'll try your way masamune! but thanks everyone if anyone else has any tips i'd be thankful! :D
:) Knocking out the Queen does something to the Cards. I can't remember what exactly, but I think it sends them into a panic when she's knocked out, meaning they stop attacking you to help her. When she wakes up again, she'll send a new wave of cards, so just knock her out again.
:D Good luck dear!
thanks :)
The only way to pass this part is to destroy the cogs on the tower! Desn't matter how much you attack the cards-or the queen, the tower HAS to be destroyed  If you keep attacking the queen, you're just wasting time and prolonging what should be a quick and fairly easy battle. Try having Sora at lvl 15 or higher to make things easier. You really shouldn't have to bother with the queen at all.
Best of luck! :)
@ Masamune
I have tried the guides-I bought one way back when FF7 was still new, but to be honest I think them a waste of time! They very rarely tell me anything I haven't found out for myself anyway, and I find it more satisfying to do it myself rather than read how to in a book! There's no way I could have passed Nibelheim without working out what the letter that leads to Vincent meant...my curiosity is too strong!
:P They "rarely" tell you anything new. ;) That means sometimes, albeit rarely, they do. :D My latest guide, the one I bought for FFVII Dirge of Cerberus, came with this beautiful pullout timeline of the events that occured before, during and after FFVII. :o It even starts 2000 years ago, when Jenova first crashed on to Earth.
8) Guides are great. I just see them as another piece of FF merchandise to add to my collection.
 I've yet to use my DoC guide though, as DoC is linear enough on its own.
*Goes back on topic* :o BTW fly, don't be using all your potions and such. You may need them for the real boss battle of Wonderland.
Quote from: "Masamune":P They "rarely" tell you anything new. ;) That means sometimes, albeit rarely, they do.
Oh, yes..sometimes I learn hidden secrets or a better way of doing things-I'm not perfect!
I dont have the Dirge of Cerberus game-is it good?
And although I dont collect FF or KH merchandise, that guide sounds pretty interesting, the history of Jenova...hhmmm, maybe I'll give that a look :)
BTW-masamune, which is your favourite FF game/character of them all?
I've never been able to get into RPG's on any platform - I guess they just aren't my thing :? Every evening this week week been playing Project Gotham Racing 3 on Xbox Live - up to 8 players at once - thats been a blast! :D
:o DoC is veeery different from all the other FFs. The only similiarity really is the characters and things like Materia. :) I really loved it though, despite how different it was from previous FFs. :P Vincent is an amazingly well thought-out character, and this game proves it. You should definatly get it!
:) My fave FF of all is FFVII, and my fave character of all is Sephiroth. I wasn't at all interested in FFVII when my cousin showed it me, because of the weird graphics. 8) But then she showed me the cinematic of Sephiroth burning Nibelheim to the ground, and it was love at first sight. That may sound a little bit warped, but it's the truth! ;) And I've never looked back since!
i constently saw it advertised on disney channel in the usa coz they got it first. i really like the graphics so might go on a late xmas shopping spree lol
:P Don't forget to get Kingdom Hearts 2, and Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories! :) CoM is on Game Boy Advance. It's a sequal to KH1 but a prequal to KH2.
Think I'll have to get the DoC then...Vincent is my favourite character from FF7, so learning more about him should be interesting!
Any other games you recommend? Maybe I missed some! Have FF8, 9, 10 and 10 part 2, and KH, KH2 and KH CoM.
Sephiroth-is it the eyes?
oooo!! i love FF8..its my fave one! I have a fantastic Sorceress Edea cosplay that i have made..i love it.
@ Bambi - :P I have all of them too. I haven't tried the earlier FFs yet. :) If you like Vincent though, you should get Ehrigeiz. It's a beat 'em up. It's not the greatest beat 'em up ever, and I only bought it for the FF characters. :D Vincent is in it. And you can play as Sephiroth, but TOPLESS.
:o Obviously it was how Sephiroth looked that first made me fall in love. But he's got so much depth to him as well. I really understand how he is, and why he does the thing he does. I'm a firm believer that villains have a lot more thought put into them than heroes do, which is probably why my three fave FF characters are Sephieoth, Kuja and Seymour.
@ Lozzie - ;) What do you think of the Ultimecia/Rinoa theory?
I agree, Kingdom Hearts is a great game, but i'm not very good at it
I wonder if anyone could help me out, i'm stuck on the hercules level, I don't know how to defeat the cerebus (3 headed dog), please help me :)
This can be a difficult battle :(
The best thing is to keep moving and use dodge roll-stay behind cerberus if you can. When he lies down to bite you, lock onto one of his side heads and attack! Try to get a good combo in before retreating to a safe distance! When he goes up on his hind legs, get ready to jump to avoid his shockwave.
Remember to keep moving!
Good luck! :)
:) The main thing is definatly to keep moving. When Cerberus is shooting off those purple energy things and such, your best bet is to keep running! It's possible to get on Cerberus' back, so if you do, target the MIDDLE head. This fight can turn into a bit of a button-bash fest, so be sure to heal yourself when your HP is low, rather than continue attacking.
*Will see what her Strategy Guide says later* I'm heading offline now.
Jumping onto Cerberus back can be useful-try getting onto a hind leg, and onto his back from there. He will throw you off again though, so be prepared! This is also the best way to defeat the behemoth later on in the game.
Have you done the Deep Jungle level? It's useful to do that before the Colisseum, as you'll get the Cure spell, which will make things a lot easier!
Let us know how you get on!
Thanks for your help guys, I really appriciate it.
QuoteHave you done the Deep Jungle level?
Yes, I have :)
well i know i posted this topic ages ago but habe only just gone on the game since posting it and in 2 attempts this morning using masamunes way i did it! attacking the queen does help because the cards leave you alone! thanks :D :D
:D Yay, congrats Dumbo!
:P Let us know if you get stuck again!
*Is currently playing Final Fantasy XII* @_@ It's SO good.
