This is my first trip report ever!
First of all I would like to thank everybody from this forum, because reading your posts helped a lot during my planning and I´m sure made our trip much better. Many thanks! :)
My parter Helio and I traveled from Brazil to France for the firt time and we got to spend 4 days and 3 nights at Disneyland and 5 more days in Paris. For the Disney part of our trip, we stayed from the 2nd to the 5th of January at Hotel Cheyenne. I had already visited the Disney parks in the USA and Helio had never been to a Disney park before. I was quite worried he wouldn´t like it, but he ended up loving it and we are already planning a visit to Orlando next year (I hope to visit Tokyo someday!)
We both loved staying at Hotel Cheyenne. The theming is great and it had a nice atmosphere. We thought the cast members were very friendly, especially at the reception. Check-in was fast and easy, even though there was a line when we got there. I think it was about 10a.m (January 2nd) and the room was already available. I guess we were lucky.
Let´s start with some pictures I took at Hotel Cheyenne. You will see some pictures of Helio walking. He was always walking ahead while I was behind taking pictures of everything.
I hope you like them! I will try to write about day 1 later.

Thanks for sharing your pics with us, all the way from Brazil
But a question :) Where is everyone :?:
Hi Epcot_Boy!
During our stay, it was very quiet at the hotel. We only saw people during breakfast lol. The rest of the time, it was a ghost town. I think in a way, it helped set the mood for the theming lol
For the first 2 days of our trip, we walked to the parks and back to Cheyenne. Walking along Rio Grande was really nice. However, we ended up giving up walking on days 3 and 4 and decided to take the shuttle to the parks.
Here are some pictures I took during these walks:

Great pictures, sure looks quiet though.
Thanks! :) It sure was quiet, even at the parks. I was good for rides, we didn´t even need to use fast-pass. We used only once but I guess we shouldn´t even had bothered because lines weren´t a problem. The only ride with more than 20 minutes was Crush´s coaster.
Great to get an insight into the Cheyenne. We are staying there in March. We have stayed there back in December 2007 but can't remember it much. Looking forward to the rest of the report.
Hi Princess Emily,
I think you won´t regret staying there. The room was comfortable and clean. I don´t know whether it has been refurbished lately, but everything looked like new. For breakfast, I was informed it´s better to go early, between 7 and 7.30, because after that it gets very busy. We had breakfast at 7.30 everyday and I think it was a good decision. It was very calm, with plenty of tables available.
Almost getting there...
Fantasia Gardens!
After we passed security check, my heart started beating so fast. I couldn´t believe we were so close to the park. However, instead of hurrying up to get to the gate as fast as we could, we decided to calm down and appreciate that moment and the beauty of Fantasia Gardens. After so much planning and antecipation, I just couldn´t believe we were there, staring at Disneyland Hotel. It was a great feeling. It was very nice just to sit there and watch the people go by. I think only at Disney you can see so many smiling and happy people at the same place, at the same time. It is pure magic. The energy is so great. It feels good just being there, doing nothing, just being there. I can´t put down on words how happy I was. Do you know what I mean? Do you feel the same when you get there?

Going under the tunnel before seeing the castle. The moment I had been looking forward to had arrived.
Well, only now I realized that I haven´t posted a single picture of myself so you can see who I am, so here you go, me, very happy, already in the castle.

Nice report and pics :-)
Thank you Norhel :)
During our stay, I didn´t get tired of taking pictures of the castle. I just couldn´t get enough of it! I took the second day of EMH just to take pictures of it. Therefore, I would like to share with you some of the castle pictures I have taken :)

Frontierland, Tram tour, Fish and Chips and Pirates!
On our first day, after visiting the castle, we decided to head to Frontierland to ride Phanton Manor and Big thunder. Phanton Manor was a walk-on and we enjoyed it. I thought it should be a little spookier though. The queue for Big thunder wasn´t that big, but we decided to get fast-pass anyway (the only time during the entire trip). While waiting, we strolled through Frontierland Land and I took some pictures. The theme is amazing and the land is very well design. There are so many details to look at that I think you could spend the day just strolling around, without going on any ride. When we returned to Big Thunder to ride it, bad news! We were next, ready to board, almost inside the train, when there was a voice on the spearker saying something in French that I couldn´t understand. The ride simply stopped and a cast-member approached saying that it would have to be evacuated, cause the ride would have to be restarted. I still don´t know what happened, but that´s fine. We wouldn´t let something like this spoil our fun.
As the Tram Tour at the Studios was going to close for refurbishment the next day (January 3rd), we decided to head to the studios to ride it ( I will talk more about the studios in another post). It was a walk-on and an experience that I´m not sure I enjoyed a lot. It think it could be much better. It seems they haven´t put enough effort (or money) into it. The canyon part is fun, but there isn´t much else going on. Besides, the props they show aren´t exaclty that exciting to see. It looks more like the backyard os the studios where they throw away things they don´t need anymore.
After that we left the studios and went back to Disneyland Park. As we wanted to get something to eat and Helio loves fish and chips (he spent one year and England some years ago and he realy misses it), we went to Toad Hall.
The place has a great architecture and looks nice, but oh my God!!!! I couldn´t believe how dirty it was. I mean, people leave all their leftovers on the table and not only that, it´s unbelievable all the napkins that litter the foor (not only napkins!!!!). The problem was that Helio really, really liked the fish and chips (I had the chicken burger, which was okay) and we went back there again twice. It was fine for me but I´m not sure I would have returned there if I were by myself. Thankfully (lol) the restaurant closed the last two days and we could try something else. I really hope what I saw is not what normally happens there, but if it is always like that, it´s a pity, because the place is nice indeed.
After eating, we went to Pirates of the Caribean and we had to wait for 10 minutes only, which is not a problem since the queue is amazing. We both simply loved the ride. How great is that? We got the chance to ride it one more time, but I think we could have ridden it dozens of times and I wouldn´t get tired of it.

Love all your photos of the castle. You captured it from some great angles.
I think your words on how you felt upon first getting to Fantasia Gardens are very good. I still get bubbles of excitement when I see the place again, and I have visited 10 times now. All worries and problems, (not that I have many) can be left behind for a few days of Disney magic.
You are very kind Princess Emily :)
The thing with the castle is that it looks good from any angle, right? It is a masterpiece of imagineering.
I really like they way you describe the feelling of getting there: "bubbles of excitement". That´s it, a great definition. You are also right about leaving the worries behind. After a very stressful year and and worried about lots of things related to work, when I got there, everything disappeared. It´s so good when your mind can be free of worries for some time. What a feeling!

We finished our first day at the park eating a hot-dog at Casey´s Corner while we waited for Princess Aurora's Christmas Wish. It was raining a bit, but if I remember correcty, the rain stopped by the time the show started. The hot-dog was not that good. The show was fine and the castle does look beautiful with all the Christmas lights. We left the park by the time the show was over and walked back to the hotel. We decided to leave Fantillusion to the next day.

This is a wonderful image =D>
As have been all your images :) It seems you have the same Castle infatuation that I have, I just love it as it sits there at the centre of the park all dressed up ;)
Thanks for being so kind, Epcot boy :)
and definitely yes, we share the Castle infatuation :)
I love your trip report so far. You were there the same time as me so I am trying to see am I in the background of any of your photos ha ha.
I love how you describe how you feel when you enter Fantasia Gardens. I always get overwhelmed and its only then that it clicks with me that I am back home in the magic!
Your photos are great and I look forward to reading and seeing more!!!
Hi Laura!
It would be great if we could find you in any of my pictures, wouldn´t it? :) well, maybe I am in the background of one of yours lol :)
Reading trip reports before being there, I always thought it was interesting that people said they felt like they were back home when they got there. But I ended up feeling that too!!!! lol I get goose bumps just remembering it.
You know, traveling from Brazil to Europe ain´t cheap and I planned this trip to Disneyland Paris as a once in a lifetime experience, but I am already feeling desperate to go back there. Wel, who knows?
What about you, did you enjoy your trip?
Great TR so far, thank you!
I love your pictures, the`re beautiful. Also grat the ones, that are almost black and white. How did you do that? Photo shopped or camera mode?
Aurora1
Thank you Aurora1! :)
I used photoshop to adjust the color, vibrance and saturation. For the ones that are almost black and white, to have that look I used the PS tool photo filter.
For day 2, we decided to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours to explore Discoveryland.
I have to confess something, being overweight, months before the trip I had decided to start a diet that I called "Mission Space Mountain", because I really wanted to ride it, but I was scared of not fitting the seat. Well, my mission was a big failure and I never got to lose the pounds I should have (it´s painful to say this, it´s not easy to admit that myself). Therefore you could image the way I was feeling heading to Space Mountain. When we were walking through the queue, I could see Helio´s fear when he saw the video warning about the loops and stuff. Well, I had a different fear. I was terrified about the possibility of getting there and a castmember telling me that I couldn´t ride it because I was too fat. Knowing we would explore Discoveryalnd the next day, I had a nightmare about this the night before. It was a 5 min queue only, but it took ages of desperation for me.
Well, I got there and had no problem. What a relief! The relief was huge! We rode it and I liked it. Helio said he didn´t like it at all. Having read before that the ride was very rough, I think I was prepared for the worse, but I can´t say that I found it rough tough. My frustration was that the audio was not working and I think the soundtrack would have improved the experience.
We algo managed to ride Laser Blast and Star Tours. Laser Blast was what I thought it would be, a fun ride, but not a great ride. I loved the queue for Star Tours, but I think the ride itself hasn´t aged well. It´s not a bad ride though.
I love the design of Discoveryland and the Jules Verne theming, all the retro-futurist look.I really liked walking through Nautilus. Very well done.
We were also there 4th - 6th January, seems like a popular time for dlrpmagic forum members to visit.
Great trip report and I just love the pictures.
Just makes me want to visit dlrp right now!
But one question: where did you hide all the other guests in Hotel cheyenne? ;)
Thanks Black Pearl! :)
Well, I don´t know what happened to the guests...lol
Maybe I do know. For the first two days, we only walked to the parks and that was when I took the pictures. Almost nobody walking there. I discovered this by the third day, when we starting taking the bus. The bus stop was always full of people. I also saw a lot of people checking in at night, when we were returning from the parks.
The hotel was very quiet indeed. I kind like it, a very calm, relaxing atmosphere. A ghost town atmosphere lol

Yes it would! But I loved looking at your photos even without looking for myself in the background!
Yes I had a great trip! I found the crowds weren't too bad but the weather on Thursday was bad! I am looking forward to more of your trip report!
Laura, it´s great to know you had a great trip! :)
I don´t know if it was on thursday, but one of the days we were there, leaving the park, it started raining really bad. Luckly we were almost getting to the bus stop to go back to the hotel, otherwise, we would have soaked wet. However, we were so excited that the weather could not spoil our fun.

Loving your trip report Rafael, the photos are amazing!!! Love how quiet Cheyenne looked. We went last May/June, but stayed in the Newport Bay, it was always full of people-as were the parks! we head back week after next with an extra kid in tow-so might see some of the Cheyenne then. We have booked a surprise extra night in the Santa Fe with no park tickets but the next morning move to the Disneyland Hotel-its all going to be a big surprise! I've been keeping it a secret. Think I'm looking forward to Nautilus most, especially after seeing your photos, it was closed last time we were there!!
Hi Hootie!
I´m glad you like the report. :)
Did you like staying at Newport Bay? We visited the hotel and I thought it was really beautiful.
Staying at Disneyland Hotel must be amazing! I don´t know how you can keep it as a secret! It will be a wonderful surprise, no doubt! :)
I think you will like exploring Nautilus. Take your time and check all the great details they have put into it. I think it is a masterpiece. Actually, the whole park is full of "hidden" details, right?
After Discoveryland, we decided to leave the park to explore the resort and visit the other hotels. Disneyland Hotel is very nice, but we both found Sequoia Lodge very cozy. I think we probably would stay there in another trip. Newport Bay is also beautiful. I liked the concept of Santa Fe, but I think it really needs a refurbishment. The buildings are showing their age.
Unfortunately the weather wasn´t the best, very windy, and we ended up giving up visiting Hotel New York and we went back to the hotel to rest a bit before returning to the park. I regreat not having visited the hotel, but I think taking a break from the parks was good (actually it was a tip from one of the posts I had read here at the forum). I think it helped because we weren´t feeling tired in the afternoon when we got back to the park and were more willing to enjoy the park till it closed.
When we got to the park, we decided to get something to eat and we went to Pizzeria Bella Notte. As it was almost 3pm, it wasn´t busy, so were were able to observe all the details of the place. It is really well designed, full of magic. Helio had Penne Napolitana, with garlic bread and I had Pizza Royale, with the green salad and tiramisu. I had read the food usually comes cold, but it wasn´t the case at all. It was the perfect temperature and both dishes were nice. The pizza is pretty big, so is the penne box, so I think maybe the 2 menus we ordered could easily be shared by 3 people. The tiramisu wasn´t that good, but the garlic bread was very nice. The castmembers were very friendly and the place was clean. A different experience from the one we had at Toad Hall, with all the litter on the floor.
After eating, we explored Fantasyland and we did most of the rides there. The first one was Peter Pan flight. As it was only a 20-min-queue, we didn´t get fastpass. The queue was actually much faster than that and we had to wait only about 12 minutes.
As the queue is usually huge and people always talk a lot about it, I think we both had a high expectation about it. We both tought the ride was good, but maybe not as good as we imagined it would be. We had fun though. After that we rode Pinochio (not much to say, not that good) and Snow White. For both rides, we had to wait for about 5 minutes. As I wasn´t expecting much from Snow White, I ended up enjoying it more that I thought I would. However, I think it can be really scary for young children.
Next was Small World, which was also a walk-on. I have to confess that I liked the ride quite a lot. It is what it is, but fun anyway. A great escape from the rain outside and also from reality. I don´t need to say that I´m singing that song until today, do I?
After Small World we rode the Tea Cups. Fun, not much, but fun. The place is beautiful though. The ceiling is amazing.
I don´t remember exacly what we did after that, but I guess as it was raining a little bit, we explored the castle one more time, before heading to main street to wait for the Aurora show and Fantillusion. Before Fantillusion, we took some time to see all the details at Liberty Arcade. I love the arcades. Besides being beautiful and with great details, they are so great when the weather is bad or when it is very crowded outside. Actually, even when the weather was good, we spent some time there, checking the details while drinking a nice hot chocolate from the deli.
Well, What can I say about Fantillusion? I really wish I had liked it more, but unfortunately I think it lacks something. Maybe it was the weather, but I think there was no magic. It felt like they were doing it just because they had to, not because they wanted to. Therefore, the energy that you got from parade was not that great. Not that it was bad or anything, but I can´t say that it was memorable.
We did stay at the Newport Bay Rafael-it was a present from the inlaws(great inlaws I have). They paid for our hotel, and wanted us to stay there. I loved it, but it is enormous, and was always packed with people. I have recommended it to a few friends who are going this year!. I'm very excited about the Disneyland Hotel, only reason we are going there is because there was a 40% off offer, and kids under 12 are free, so we are taking our daughter and niece. Saying that we are going for one day less than we had originally decided, so hopefully the parks won't be too busy!
Hootie, I noticed when we were visiting the hotels that Newport Bay was the busiest one, really packed. Is it people´s favorite?
I can imagine how excited you must be about Disneyland Hotel. I think even if the park is busy you will have a great time! :)
Check it out how busy Pizzeria Bella Notte was!
Empty, both times we had meals there. Maybe it was the time we went, the first time, around 3pm and the second time about 11am.

As I had said before, the weather wasn´t very good the afternoon we spent doing the rides of Fantasyland (day 2), so I didn´t get to take many pictures. Therefore I decided to take advantage of EMH the next day to take more photos of the land.
Fantasyland!

Day 3!
We had breakfast at 7.00 and it was even quieter than the 2 days before.
Helio had a headache, so he decided to stay a little longer in the hotel while I went to the park by myself to take advantage of EMH and take some pictures, especially Fantasyland. About 10.00 I returned to the hotel and as Helio was better, we went to the park. We rode Big Thunder Mountain and it was awesome. I wish we had ridden it again before leaving :(
We spent the afternoon at the Studios. We watched the parade, CinéMagique, Moteurs...Action! and Animagique. We also went to Armaggedon and The Art of Animation.
The parade was a nice surprise, I really liked it. I had already read that CinéMagique was great and it didn´t disappoint. Amazing show, really moving. Moteurs...Action! is interesting, but not exciting enough to make me want to watch it again. I thought Animagique was very disappointing. It could have been a better show, maybe with a better script.
The pre-show of Armaggedon was quite boring and lasted longer than I thought it should, but I think the cast-member did a good job trying to make the whole thing more interesting than it really was. The special effects were intense and I saw a couple of children crying by the end of the show. Actually, I don´t think parents should allow their children to go in. Too scary for them, I guess.
I only went to Tower of Terror the next day and I loved it. Great attraction. Helio didn´t feeling like going. He is not crazy about the whole dropping thing.
I thought the Toy Story Playland was nice, good theming and all, but I think the rides aren´t what we expect from Disney.
I understand the attractions of the park are held in buildings that are supposed to look like a studio, but is it really exciting for a theme park?
I really think it should have a body of water, because there is too much concrete.
On the other hand, I think the entrace is really charming.

Time to say good-bye...
Day 4 started with bad weather, but it did not prevent me from going to the park early, at 8.00. Helio decided to stay in the hotel a little bit more. Well, it was kinda dark, raining and when I got to the park I noticed I had forgotten to charge the camera.
As we had to leave the room until 11, I decided to go back to the hotel to charge the camera and hope the rain would stop. Luckly the rain did stop and we left the room about 10.15. We left our bags at Cheyenne and went to the park for the last time :(
We visited Alice´s Curious Labyrinth, explored La Cabane des Robinson and Le Passage Enchanté dÁladdin and rode one last time Pirates and Phanton Manor.
It´s great going on rides, but it is also awesome just walking around, soaking up the park atmosphere. It has such a great design and so many things to look at and admire. Then we left the main park and went to the studios for the last time. We had lunch there and walked around the park a bit. I went to Tower of Terror by myself (Helio didn´t feel like going) and it was the last ride of the trip. :(
Next I will try to post my top 10 attractions, wishes and more pictures.
My top 10 attractions:
1 - Big Thunder Mountain
2 - Pirates of the Caribbean
3 - Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant / La Tanière du Dragon
3 - The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
4 - Phantom Manor
5 - CinéMagique
6 - Space Mountain: Mission 2
7 - Les Mystères du Nautilus
8 - La Cabane des Robinson / Adventure Isle
9 - It´s a Small World
10 - Peter Pan´s flight
5 things I loved about Disneyland Paris:
- Liberty and Discovery Arcades
- Fantasia Gardens
- Walking under Disneyland Hotel to enter the park
- Jules Verne theme in Discoveryland
- the way lands blend smoothly

Nice pics :-)
Thanks, Norhel! :)
I've loved reading your report and seeing your photos! I'm going next week and staying at the Cheyenne, which is the one hotel I haven't stayed at before so it was great to see your photos of it! Looks like you had a wonderful time overall (:
Thanks, Cendrillon! :)
I really liked staying at Cheyenne and I'm sure you will have a great time there.
By the way, which is your favorite hotel?
Have a wonderful trip! I'll be looking forward to reading your report :)
Quote from: "Rafael"It´s great going on rides, but it is also awesome just walking around, soaking up the park atmosphere. It has such a great design and so many things to look at and admire.
I couldn't agree more  When I visit I bet I spend just as much time soaking up the atmosphere as I do on the rides and visiting the various shows 8) That why I love the Summer season, the parks are packed but the atmosphere is wonderful :D/
Thanks for sharing your holiday with us..........
Do you reckon you will return one day to DLP or are the American/Hong Kong/Japan parks calling you?
Epcot_Boy,
Actually it´s my pleasure sharing this report with you :)
It´s a way for me to enjoy the magic again.
I bet it must be great visiting in the summer. Maybe one day...
I really loved going in the winter though. We live in the Northeast of Brazil and here is summer all year long! lol
Therefore it´s really nice to experience the European winter once in a while.
I have visited Orlando years ago and I would like to go back there. Helio and I are thinking about it. I just don´t know whether we should wait until the new Fantasyland is finished. I would also love to visit the resort in Anaheim. I´m excited to see the changes happening in California Adventure, and of course get to know the Disneyland that started it all. Maybe one week in Florida and one week in California. What do you think? Would you go to just Orlando or both?
The boring thing for us Brazilians to travel to USA is the visa and the awful bureaucracy. As there is no American embassy in my town. We have to schedule an interview in another city (Recife) and wait there in a queue for many, many hours. Sometimes you have to schedule months in advance just to get a slot.
I would also love to go to Tokyo, but there is the visa bureaucracy as well.
We don´t need visa to Hong Kong, but I don´t think it is my priority right now. I think it will take some time for the park to be really good.
...and there is the awesome Disneyland Paris. I thought it would be a once in a lifetime trip, but I was so wrong...
We have just returned and I´m already dying to go back there!
Should I return this year? or should I wait for Ratatouille and miss the 20th anniversary? what do you think?
The great thing about it is that we don´t need visa, however, it´s more expensive than USA.
I don´t know what to do, but I know for sure that I want to go back to Disneyland Paris as many times as possible.
By the way, Epcot_Boy, what do you think about the other resorts?

Would it be wrong if I posted some pictures I took in Paris here?
Funnily I have been planning long term to visit America and Japan and have worked towards California in (For the first time) 2013 and then Japan 2014 (Also for the first time............Disneysea has really been calling me recently  ).
I had thought of California this year but put it off because I am really looking forward to the 20th this year and plan on visiting DLP in the spring, summer and winter this year (And maybe some more times if the bank manager agrees :-" ).
Would I visit both Orlando and California on the same trip :?: Absolutely :D/ I loved WDW, visiting on numerous occasions from 1989 until 2000, and I really really wished that on one of those visits I had gone across to California as well  So yes, if you can I would really do it
Should I return this year? or should I wait for Ratatouille and miss the 20th anniversary? what do you think?
Both  Seriously I would go for the 20th, Ratty once built will be there for many a year, the 20th wont :)
Anyhow, once again............thanks for sharing your hols with the forum =D>
Epcot_boy,
I think I´m the one who should thank you for taking your time to read my report :)
Thanks, you are very kind!
I think you are right, the 20th celebration is only this year and it shouldn´t be missed!
I also liked your plans to visit America in 2013 and Japan in 2014. I think I will plan to do that myself! :)
Paris 2012, America 2013 and Japan 2014 would be awesome! I´d better star saving money...lol :)
Thanks again, Epcot_Boy! :)
Great trip report Rafael. Love the Pictures and it seem's really quiet when you went. I am going on Monday morning staying at the Santa Fe. I hope to a trip report when I get back I dont think it will be anywhere near as good as yours.
Quote from: "Rafael"Thanks, Cendrillon! :) I really liked staying at Cheyenne and I'm sure you will have a great time there.
By the way, which is your favorite hotel?
I would say the Disneyland Hotel, but the only time I've stayed there was when I was about 4 or 5, so I don't remember it at all! I'm sure if I could remember the stay, it would definitely be my favourite haha (: Of what I can remember though, I'd say Davy Crockett is my favourite because I love the cabins and the freedom to cook your own meals if you so wish, and of course, the swimming pool which is superb - I think the general feel of the place is great! It's just a shame that it's so much further out form the resort.

Hi Cendrillon,
Thanks for the reply :)
Davy Crockett must be really nice indeed! I remember watching a video on youtube and the pool really seemed great.
When I was visiting the hotels during my trip I loved the feel of Sequoia Lodge. I think I would choose to stay there next time.
Details!

I don´t think I deserve your kind words, but they definitely put a big smile on my face. :D
I think water plays an important role in a theme park and I thought it was used brilliantly in the main park. It is used very creatively to set the mood of each land. Just think about Big Thunder Mountain, right in the middle of the Rivers of the Far West. How beautiful is that river with that island in the middle? what about Nautilus in the Discovery lagoon?
Can you imagine Fantasia Garden without the body of water?! what about Fantasyland?
I can´t imagine the resort without Lake Disney and Rio Grande River. Walking along the river from Cheyenne to the parks is really amazing and water is definitely the key element in that beautiful scenery.
Unfortunately there isn´t a body of water at the Studios...

more water!

Yes, we had a wonderfull time. We enjoyed it a lot. :D
I´m so glad to hear the way you feel about Cheyenne because I also loved the hotel.
It was really great staying there. Amazing theme, nice atmosphere, cozy room, friendly castmembers, nice walk to the park.
I´m also curious about Sequoia Lodge. I think it must be great staying there, but I wouldn´t hesitate to stay at Cheyenne again.
I´m glad to hear you liked the Paris pictures. :D
I loved the city, so many things to see, so many things to do. The view from Notre Dame was really stunning. It was very special to be there and see the gargoyles, since I´m a huge fan of Disney´s The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Now watching the movie after having visited the cathedral is even more special to me :D
I hope you get to visit Disneyland this year. I would love to experience the 20th Anniversary Celebration as well.
Go this year and don´t forget to write your report! :D I´ll be looking forward to it!
Thanks again!
To finish this report I would like to thank everybody who has read it and the wonderful comments you have posted. Thank you so much! :D

Hi Alice!
Thank you for your kind words! :D
I´m sure you will have a great time there. Disneyland Paris is stunning. Great design, great theming, great atmosphere. There are so many things that make this place special, so many little details. It´s a masterpiece! Of course I´m talking mainly about the main park, because the second gate, the Studios, isn´t that great. It´s fun though! :D
I think you will love Paris. The city is wonderfull. So many things to see and do. Really awesome. :D
I hope you write a trip report to share with us! :D
Thanks again,
Rafael

Thanks for your kind words. I'm really happy you enjoyed the trip report. :)
I'm also planning to go this winter, this time staying longer, maybe being there for New Years eve. I'm thinking of buying AP. What about you? When are you going?
I hope you write a trip report to share with us. I would love to read about your trip. :)
I'm planning to go some time in november, I really want to experience Christmas in the parks :) But I have to wait a bit more before I can make the final arrangements.
I will definitely try to write a trip report, I've spent hours reading other peoples reports here :)

I cant believe Ive missed your report until now , it is fantastic and your pictures are amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to do it. Have you made any more plans about going back to DLP?

Hi AislingM,
Thank you for your kind words. :)
I agree with you. Cheyenne is very cosy. We loved the hotel.
We are going back to DLP this year, on December 28th, staying until January 10th. This time we will get Annual Passports. We will be staying offsite until January 6th and then at Cheyenne till the 10th. After that we are heading to London, until January 25th. Staying onsite during our whole stay at DLP was out of question, it would be too expensive, especially because of the currency conversion. Therefore we booked only four nights at Cheyenne. There was a good deal with expedia, room only. The other days will be at Ibis Marne La Valle. I really don't know what to expect of this hotel. I'm kind of nervous, but at least we will still be close to the parks. It seems to be pretty close to the train station. We won't be only visiting DLP. There are some places in Paris that we missed the last time. However, being back at Disney is what I look forward the most. I can't wait!
New York was the only hotel we didnt visit last time, but I bet it is wonderful and you will have a great time. We will try to have breakfast there once, maybe a drink at the bar. I really enjoyed visiting the other hotels when we were there. Hotel New York is at the top of the list this time.
Are you planning on writing a trip report? I hope so! I would love to read it! :)
Thanks again for your comment. :)
Enjoy your trip!
Oh wow , that sounds like quite a holiday! Paris is beautiful , you will never get bored. Although Ive never been to Paris without going to Disneyland too, so maybe I just associate Paris with Disney and thats why I like it. Im getting very excited about my trip now and of course Il be doing a trip report! I must look at getting annual passports this time too!

Hi AislingM,
Paris is beautiful indeed, and combining it with some days at Disneyland makes it even more special. I can't wait!
I am happy to know you are writing a trip report. I'm looking forward to reading it. :)
Hey Rafael
It's been great reading and re-reading your wonderful trip report. (I wasn't on the forum when you first posted it, so it was great to find it!) I'm staying at the Ibis next weekend before moving to the Hotel New York so I'll hopefully be able to let you know what it's like.

I would be really thankful if you could share your thoughts on Ibis. I will be spending most of the days while in Paris there and I'm really looking forward to knowing your impressions. I would also love to hear about you trip and your staying at Hotel New York. I'm sure you will have a great time.

Hi Ed-uk,
Besides the look of the park, another thing that has been awesome is that this time, at least so far, all the cast members have been really great. Last time some were kind of rude.
I will try to write the new report soon. :)
Fantastic report! I can't wait to read your next one!
I hope you're having a wonderful time! :)

Many thanks! I'm glad you liked the report. We are in London now. When we get back home, I will write the report. We had a great time at DLP.
Truly fantastic pics and reports, thank you for sharing!
It's brought a huge smile to my face seeing all the places you photographed, some great angles and less 'common' views
I agree, Sequoia Lodge has a cosy and welcoming feel, great use of space too, it is my fave hotel so far. One day I hope to report that i've stayed in all of them (though not sure bout the Cheyenne theming)
I look forward to reading and seeing more from your further trips. I wasn't surprised to read that you are very keen to return :D/ [/b]

Hi Ravenseye,
I'm glad you enjoyed the report.
Just like you, I would also like to report staying at all of the hotels. However, for budget reasons, we have just stayed at Cheyenne again. As we are spending almost a month in Europe this time, staying in another hotel would be too expensive. As soon as we get home, I will write the trip report. Before going home, we will spend one more day at DLP. We are in London now and we will go back for another day at Disney on the 24th, before going back home on the 25th.
