Disneyland Paris informed its fan community today about the return of the Terrorific Night at Walt Disney Studios Park. This year however, there will be 2 nights of terror. Tickets should go on sale in a couple of days.
Here's the official visual:

YES! Last year was such a fantastic event, I'm glad they're putting it on for two nights now. Hmm, I think it's time to book some time off work and book up hotels and train tickets :D
think this would be too scary for the wee one....need to find another adult to go with
is this likely to happen every year now? My sister really wants to go to one but no money to go halloween this year after a summer trip.
So what do they actually do for this?
ahh that looks cool! i want to go! but last time we went for halloween it was crazy busy!
I went last year and it was heaving!! I believe it was sold out and whilst I enjoyed it I missed some of the events as there was no programme telling you what would happen and where. There where Zombies, stilt walkers and fire eaters at random parts of the park and the Studio Tram Tour was take over by actors, at the gates to Dinotopia zombies appeared form behind various pieces of scenery and snatched a women out of the tram two rows in front of me, she was taken to an altar and sacrificed (serves her right for asking if the Ratatouille ride was going to be built!) In the London street scene more characters appeared and threatened those on board the tram as well as rounding up dissidents and taking them away. When we left the tour the queue was 90 minutes and that was the first thing we had gone on when we went in. I believe there were more actors in The Hollywood Tower Hotel. I'm sure others who went will be able to fill in the holes i've left. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, but the park was so crowded it was like a French Bank Holiday. The event was not organised by Disney, but by a French cimpany similar to HMV in the UK

Photos Magiques has a gallery and info from last year's event: http://www.photosmagiques.com/gallery/w ... night2.php (http://www.photosmagiques.com/gallery/walt_disney_studios/entertainment/terrorific_night2.php%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
Looks fun! Wish I could go.
Men with chainsaws and blood-stained clothes. It's exactly what Walt would've wanted :D
i actually think he would have liked it. the whole point was that disneyland was a park for everyone.
It's good that this opens the parks up to people who don't normally 'do Disney'. This is something that most people would never expect Disney to do.
I have to say though, that I would never even consider going to a Terrorific night. I would be absolutley terrified the whole time, and not in a scared but excited kind of way, more a so scared that I may well pass out kind of way. It would have to be Mickeys not so Scary Halloween all the way for me
Have a great time all that are going though, you are very brave
I would be too terrified, and I have a fear that I'll see an evil clown. Clowns are wrong
I went to a fright night at Thorpe park, and have since vowed never to go to a horror event

The point is, that unless there is something different this year, this is not a "Disney" event. The park is hired for the night by a seperate group and they lay on the entertainment. Those who may be upset get their usual day in the park and those who enjoy this sort of entertainment get their evening in the park. Everyone wins
I find it frustrating when Disney fans claim they know "What Walt Wanted" for all we know this could have been top of his list , no I'm joking. Still, this looks like a fun night :)
Captain rocket, that was only the first year. Last year and this year the event is being done by disney
IM GOING!!!!! well i will be when i book on monday!!!! im excited, apart from the fact I have very realistic night terrors where i wake the other person in my bed and say theres someone with a knife hiding in the room, or wake up screaming becasue i can "see" someone crawling across the ceiling- in a grudge the ring type girl crawling thing. Soooo I may have an eventful nights sleep after this!!!
Ommmgggg I really wanna go but I would actually cry through the whole thing!! I bet there's an age limit right?? I'm 18 but I dnt watch horror movies or anything, I'd sill like to go just for the thrill :p I think it's great that Disney are running such different events to what people would except of the company. It opens the park up to a whole new demographic, I bet it'd be a great night for a group of friends. Wish my October trip was around this time, still, Halloween is a wonderful time to be in Disneyland Paris :)
New details!!! This year will feature fog machines park wide, more special theming for rides, and the best part...
TERROR ZONES!!! wish I could be there
So... How were the Terrorific Nights?
Anyone care to share a few thoughts or experiences from the events? :)
I was lucky enough to go on the Saturday night. It was absolutely fantastic. The park was covered in smoke and cool lighting. There were scare actors in designated locations which were awesome. There was a scary circus act in front of Cinemagique which was gruesome and fun. All the rides that were open had either actors in the ride's queueline or during the ride or in Rock 'n' Rollercoaster's case a slight change to the pre-show. It was generally one amazing event and I could tell they'd changed a fair bit since last year and I really look forward to the event returning next year (hopefully).
There were a few changes compared to last year's edition:
- Armageddon wasn't just a walk through, it was the normal attraction with a slightly altered pre-show and there were scary actors in the walkway between the pre-show and the main show and there were 2 other actors in those "cages" at the exit of the attraction.
- Terrorific Tram Tour had a really short stop at the Dinotopia set (mainly to shorten the waiting time) and in the Reign of Fire set there was a really cool huge dinosaur-like creature that "ate" one of the attraction hosts.
- Horror Market was a Terror Zone located behind Tower of Terror and had a bunch of scary actors trying to "sell" you gruesome things like eye balls in a jar and stuff like that.
- Screams Monestary was a located in La Terrasse and features scary monks roaming through a lot of fog.
- In Toon Studio there were meet 'n' greet sets with Disney Villains, I saw Jafar, the Old Hag and Shan Yu.
And then for the streetmosphere, there was a motor cycle gang in Back Lot riding big Harley's, the Freaky Circus in which a random guest was butchered by the magician and a Headless Horseman was roaming Toon Studio.
These are probably the biggest changes compared to last year's edition. I'll be putting a bunch of photos online this weekend!
Sounds good, but I hope they continue to improve.
Next year I think the obvious step up is one or two horror mazes

Good to see those guys from outside Disney Village getting some work at last.
Mazes (indoor ones?) might be quite expensive to set up just for two nights. It sounds like they could still work a bit more with what they've got in the park. Sid's toys or Lotso and his gang taking over Toy Story Playland as night falls for example.
I've just finished uploading the photos to Photos Magiques. Enjoy!
