Wow! I'm jealous.

At first, it was starting as a World of Colour show, but on floats with dancers, which was great entertainment. I really like how they made the show so unique and suited to DisneySea. Perfect!

It was a shame that the visuals on the magic mirror were out of sync with the dialogue, but it didn't undermine the show at all!

Well Done TDL.  =D>

It's a good show but it does seem slightly unfinished like about 2:53 in the first video.

I do not agree with you.... This is the biggest, useless waste of money I have ever seen. What a disappointment! The score may be one of the achilles heel of this new "production". We don't have to consider this as a great show, because DLP is unable to create great shows. Disney can do everything they want. If they can dream it, they can do it. In this case, if they don't want to waste some money, they can dream it, but they can't do it.

Design:

1. Small dragon. Too small dragon. Simple. Uninspired. This is Mediterranean Harbour, not our living room.
2. Small water-made wings (this is not spectacular on the waters of Mediterranean Harbour, full of water).
3. Projections blocked by central led "stage".
4. Barges excessively big.
5. Low-cost projections. We can't compare WoC and this.
6. Too many "Imagination" words in the lyrics. I was so ecstatic. I'd never been so bored with the word "imagination".
7. The soundtrack began and I thought that I was about to watch an advert. Then, surprisingly, the real Fantasmic melody began, but the magic finished the moment I thought that it was getting better. And there it was, the new, senseless Stitch rock section (without a doubt, the worst part).
8. Much more, but it's boring.

Production:

1. Video projections not sync. They were trying to rewind, fast foward, but the voices didn't match. I've worked for some shows, this is something that you configure into a programming software (dmx, or whatever). This is what Disney can't permit.
2. Projections do not cover the ball. You can see the screen borders. Well, if they are working....

Do you really think that this is a great show?

Well it's subjective. Not everyone's opinions can be the same. :)

But to be fair, I don't think the issues with the lip sync are going to reoccur.

Funny, I think Fantasmic is a waste of space in Florida, and in California, I really only like the Peter Pan Segment and the Dragon. I think Tokyo has the best version of all.

Now, we need Steve Davison to come over to Paris to do something for our park. Problem is, DLP are too cheap for his recharge rates.

I think the show idea is great, I like the use of the Sorcerers Hat as a central hub (especially with the moving screens/height change). The dragon coming through the mirror is a good effect too.

It just seems too small for the area it's in. Mickey is tiny! All of the characters are too small for them to have any effect. I almost wonder if it'd be better without them, and use some clever projection effects instead?

I'm sure it'll evolve based on guest feedback, but currently, I'd watch it, but prefer the more character based versions over the 'World of Fantasmic' version.
