Here's our Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, just arrived at Disneyland Paris!

... with a certain tennis player. They've not released a separate photo of the couple yet.
Our Rapunzel looks stunnig. Flynn here, however, does not. Check out the complete press event on Vimeo with a great little Tangled show on Central Plaza Stage just for the press. It features the 'I See The Light' song which is sung by both characters, those 'light balloons' from the movie and the ilumination of the caste in Tangled-style! In the video, Flynn looks so much better. I'm kind of hoping they will add this scene to the last performance of Disney Showtime Spectacular and use it for the illumination of the castle. Absolutely brilliant!

Rapunzel and Flynn are finally in Disneyland Paris :D

Lovely lanterns. A bit awkward with the lip-syncing, though.
I see they've made a lot of progress in the field of hair. Those wigs seem a lot less artificial and helmet-like than those of previous face characters.

i would love to find out where disney buy their wigs from.... being a dedicated cosplayer i fully understand how important a properly made and well styled wig is to a costume... they are difficult to find and are usually quite costly when they are found but still.... it would be interesting to know where they get them from.... also how they go about pinning and styling the CM's own hair for underneath a wig... as im sure there will be several CM's around who like me have almost waist length hair that can be a pain to get under a wig... especially a short haired one...

I'm not too sure where they get the wigs from but they have a specialist who creates each wig and edits them. They pin the CM's hair with a hair net and grips.. pretty straight forward :)
lol thats not really supprising on the wig part =]... and i usually plat my hair and have it randomly snaked over my scalp... ive found thats the best way for me... then a wig cap and lots of little hair slides to hold it in place =]

Alan Menken (and Glen Keane, and the directors and producer) at Disneyland Paris!

Is Disney doing a premiere of Tangled at DLRP? Or why are the producers and Alan Menken at DLRP?
Look at Rapunzel doing her best "Disney Princess bath towel" face, haha. I'm not sure what Flynn is trying to sell there.
would have loved a like button for that one pussinboots =]
What's Tangled?
It's the new, not yet released, Disney animation (although CGI) based on the story of Rapunzel.
Who's the tall, bold guy in the back? I saw him on Saturday, outside the Disney Village; I noticed him because he was talking about Rapunzel's hair...
Producer Roy Conli: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0174807/ (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0174807/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
Also worked on The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Treasure Planet.
Ah, thanks Anthony!!
I just read on Character Central that when the Magical Moments Festival begins, Rapunzel and Flynn will move to a new dedicated meet and greet area near the old mill, which makes sense with the construction fences Kristof reported around the old ferris wheel queue line.
I wonder if they'll use the Mill itself as part of the meet & greet, and weave her hair through the structure? Could lead to some nice photo opportunities!
It's quite a good use of the area too, there's already a queueline, the ride is rustic and fits with their time period, and the area itself was under visited and needed a bit of a clean up. So this could be a good move, it seems 2011 will be the year of more meet and greets, but with actual planning and a bit of effort put into them!
