Does anyone know if the 2014 lanyards will be available before Christmas? I wanted to get one as a Christmas present

More than likely yes.  I think we'll see them on next month's pin release poster.  Keep your eyes pealed in the last week of the month :)

An update - I've just ordered some starter kits from the Disney Store website, can't wait to surprise my wife (have decided that it won't be a Xmas present)
