I got my dad a jigsaw at Disneyland Paris back in 2008 and he still hasn't finished it. It gives him stress because I got him a rather complicated one with a lot of pieces, oops :)

No we had to assemble them all, none were already pre build, however there was a time lapse for photographing them to get them more grouped together.. :D
Some of the smaller ones were done under marathon sessions mind.. :mrgreen:

I know what you mean HayHay, actually any Jigsaws 100 Piece or under of Jen's are going to be given away to friends. That's why I made the decision to build them and photo them to remain as memorabilia even though we no longer own them.. :)

indeed they do, even more so with mine because i have no proper place on which to put them together... so i have been having to put it together in pieces then attempt to get it back into the box...

other than collecting dvds and blu-rays doing jigsaws is a huge hobby of mine and i dont want to brag or nothing but i can even do 1000 piece jigsaws in just over 2 hrs growing up i had loads of disney jigsaws and i dont mean the 100 piece ones they were all 500 piece puzzles of theatrical posters of classic disney films such as beauty and the beast , aladdin , snow white , lady and tramp ,peter pan and many more i got them all from a store that closed over 16-17 yrs ago called
JIGSAW WORLD i am not kidding the design artwork on them was amazing
I am slowly building up the collection again but in most shops they seem to be getting more expensive so its hard but i will spend if its worth it in my view
i even try charity shops as usually i am pretty there i once bought a disney wasgij of 2x 500 piece puzzles in excellent sealed condition for £1 - i will post a picture of them together later
oh i would also love to see a 1000 piece nightmare before christmas jigsaw now that would be amazing

spotted this in lidl of all places for a bargain of £2.99! unfortunately i was caught with no money on me so i couldn't invest in it.... but i will have to try and get my hands on one i think =]

Wow that's a great find SwipatronSparks, and as you say Lidl of all places, I actually passed one of those stores today, looking at it I bet the background clouding will be hard to do.. :shock:

the background to this is as follows:
I have a wreck this journal, as you can see the instructions in the bottom corner are telling me to make a mess then clean it up.... I am trying to have a Disney theme going on with this thing so when I was trying to think of what to do for this page I googled it and saw that a few people have used jigsaws, my idea came to me after a while of trying to think of where I could get to small enough jigsaws to stick in.... then it came to me, I had two DLRP brochures just sitting on my floor not doing much of anything, so I flicked through them, and lo and behold came across this page, with an identical one in the other brochure, so I pulled them out and then carefully cut them down to size to fit in the journal, and cut them out one on top of the other so all the shapes would be the same, then I stuck one in properly (right side) and the other in a jumbled mess (left side) essentially.... making a mess and cleaning it up =] (the bottom right of the made up picture i stuck in after i took the picture)
Not a Jigsaw in the literal sense, but I like it all the same.. :thumbs:
yeah i did think about trying to cut it out in proper jigsaw shapes but since i coudln't find my proper scissors at the time i made do with just making them funky shapes instead =]
