Hi guys.
Just realised that breakfast will be a quick service one in the parks rather than in the hotel
:(
Does anyone know places I can use the voucher (aside from cafe Hyperion) and how it all works and any menus ?
Thanks
I believe chalet de marionette and we other places will be serving breakfast (can't remember them off the top.of my head although I think both are on main Street. The voucher is supposed to be worth 9 euros.and covers a drink and pastry....I've been told there will be a gluten free alternative.....hoping it's more than a single cake or a fresh fruit cup
Breakfast at Davy crockett used to be 6 euros and included juice, baguette, croissant jam chic spread and apple.purre so I'm really hoping it's more.than a single croissant and drink for 9 euros!
We've just returned and the only place open for this was Cafe Hyperion. It says on the voucher that Pizzeria Bella Notte in Fantasyland is an option, but only certain dates - so it may be open when you go. The queue in Hyperion wasn't too bad.
How many other places were listed on your vouchers ?
Just those two.
Sorry to jump in on the post but according to the brochure you can use the breakfast voucher in your hotel. I have gone for full board plus. Is this not the case then?
From what I can recall if you got the free half board as part of the current booking offer you get breakfast in the park.
If you paid for you meal plan you get breakfast in your hotel.
Hi. We only got back on Sat and had an amazing time.
Breakfast quick service in the park entitles you to 1 omelette burger, 1 croissant or 1 pain au chocolat, 1 Orange juice 1 hot drink. As we didn't fancy this option we ate in our hotel and opted for the breakfast Buffett. Although we went full board we were still charged 4€ each adult and 2€ each child still worked out cheaper and we had food that we liked and set us up to head straight into the park's. On your ticket you will c a list of restaurants you can eat in.
I am hearing different things about this. So is it true that if I pay for a meal plan I get to eat in the hotel? But can you still have the option for one of the days if you want to eat in the park instead?
Not sure what a meal plan is but we went full board and chose to eat in our hotel restaurant although we were charged a little extra to do this. On your ticket there are options on where to eat in the park.
To be honest you can eat pretty much anywhere in the park but if it's a restaurant that is worth more than your meal ticket then you will have to pay extra. Show your ticket on the door and the staff will tell you how many more € you will have to pay. For example in our hotel breakfast Buffett cost us an extra 4€ adult 2€ child.

Thanks--this is great information to have. Is it a choice of OJ or a hot drink, or do you get both the juice and hot beverage?
It is both drinks.

thanks. so nice to have someone who has been there able to give a head's up on what to expect
Should it be possible to switch the orange for water? I am allergy for of.
Hey ask me anytime. You will have a fantastic time there it's my 7th Disney trip since 1990! I love it so much!!!!
I'm sure they will if you ask.
Thanks for all the help. Do you reckon 2 full days will be enough for both parks?
We're all adults and will want some photos/autographs too!
To be honest it all depends on what rides you want to do! Do you have the extra magic hours pass that allows you to enter the parks at 8am? I would say probably just about. Make sure you make use of the fast pass ticket for some of the longer queueing rides this also saves time. In the programme is a list of times where and when to meet characters in the parks be there just before they turn up for photos to avoid queues. If you watch the parade only once it's at 5.30-6pm so do rides on another day in Disneyland when your not watching it at that time when queues will be shorter. Get the free app on your mobile with live queuing times which will also help. I personally think 3 full days but we have 2 small children to get around and we cover a lot of the smaller rides in fantasyland. Wow have a fantastic time I'm so so jealous!
Thank you disney25!
We do have EMH so hopefully can meet characters then! Nope definitely not doing any kiddies ridieds and hope to do buzz lightyear and big thunder mountain during EMH as well. I was going to get the photopass but doubt we'd get many pictures in just 2 days :(
I welcome any other tips or advise! We have the free standard half board which we still need to choose the restaurants for... only firm choice is plaza gardens. Rest not sure how much veggie food they have
Make sure to use your Disney app on your phone for ride queuing times. Buzz light year ride is fun! Another tip is if you shop for gifts instead of being weighed down with them you can leave them to pick up in the shop later or if your in a Disney hotel they can drop them to it free of charge. The plaza gardens is our favorite place to eat and has a great variety of food including food for veggies (pizza, pasta, salad etc) defiantly stay for the 10pm fireworks never seen anything like it out of this world.
Defo staying for the fireworks!! Can't wait!
Probably won't be doing shopping there as it's way to expensive. Might go to the val d Europe mall instead where they have a supermarket. Have Disney toys and keyring as there I can buy!!
Will definitely use the app! If I remember that is haha
Yeah not sure about the other restaurant to book though... most are very meat heavy like tex mex style
Have you looked at Agrabah for a vegetarian friendly buffet?
Hi sorry to jump my daughter is vegatarian and we have never been to Agrabah but plan to on our next trip. What sort of dishes do they have on offer ? Do they not serve meat at all?
I've only been there once, years ago (though we'll be there in 2 weeks). I know there was a lot of vegetarian food (makes sense for a restraunt with more of a mid east theme) but I am pretty sure they serve meat dishes as well. I don't think anywhere on property is only vegetarian
This is a surprise!!
We have the free half board deal and upgraded to full board plus, does this mean we cant eat in our own hotel??? (NYH)
Cheers
No you'll still just get a voucher for breakfast in the parks. You can use your vouchers when there for part payment towards hotel breakfast although it's cheaper to pre book breakfast in the park which is only an extra 8 euros per person .
So, i have Full Board Plus and i can't eat in our own hotel?
Only if you pay a supplement....about 13 euros per person. Or you're supposed to be able to use your voucher at the hotel bar but this is basically for a croissant and drink
Just called Disney and its true :'(
Still can't believe it
Well, we were able to use the vouchers at a bar in the hotel (Sequioa) so if your concern is having to get out and to somewhere else before dining, then that part isn't a worry.
Personally, we found the counter serivce breakfasts were pletny when we had two other meals per day with full board. We wouldn't have been able to eat more any way (including my 18 year old boy---and like most kids in his age bracket, he can really put away food)
