Here's the first addition: Megara was out on Central Plaza on 1th July.

That's a strange character to send out onto Central Plaza.  Why do EPC do things like that?  Do they just get bored sometimes and think - "hey, let's send out MEG!", or are the characters on some kind of set rota?

I think i's great to diversify the characters, i'm so sick of seeing the characters that guests don't ven know who they are: Country Bears, Song of the South, Friar Tuck etc....

Long, long time ago I once saw Chubakka from Star Tours in Discoveryland. He was very tall. sadly I couldn't made a photo, because I had forgotten my camera. And after this day I saw him never again.
I'm sick too of seeing these more unknown Characters too.  :cry:

Cool; Meg looks beautiful :) I know I've only been to DLRP 4 times yet and so I didn't see that many characters. But does anyone know whether there's also Princess Jasmine? She's so beautiful!

I guess Meeko isn't a very rare character, is he? ;)

Jasmine is out quite a lot!  She and the Genie were out on Saturday as well.

Meeko is not that really frequent, probably because of his height.

:lol: I don't think I've met any rare characters ever...in the main park I've met Baloo, Geppetto, Robin Hood, Prince John, Friar Tuck, Queen of Hearts, Eeyore, Mr Penguin, Gadget and Minnie Mouse and in the Studios I've met Chip, Dale, Daisy, Cruella, Cruella Boys... :P I've seen more characters than this, but I'm going off who's autographs I got...

Peter Pan was out as well!  He was really sweet, posed for my camera a second time during the parade together with Meg and Alice.  8)

In that first picture of Peter Pan, he looks like Martin Short.

On the characters front - I saw Gadget (Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers) in Fantasyland - by Dumbo. :shock:

Yeah she's out quite a lot recently.  Flor saw Clarise on Frontlot this weekend as well, but didn't had the camera with him.

WOW they're amazing, Peter Pan looks really random but seems to fit his character well.  Nice Meg and Alice too, so really fantastic to see many different characters around lately. :D

I think the real reason is to do with the heat in Paris at the moment.

More face characters are out for the safety of the CM's who play the characters during the +30C days, it also means they can stay out longer and don't need to have a strict shaded area.

I usually think Clarice just looks a bit scary, but she really suits the style of Good Morning WDS!  They did a great job with her dress, and she matches with Chip n Dale's gangster costumes nicely, good job dlrp!

Clarice is the girlfriend of Chip and Dales's, though they never dated her, she first appeared in Chip N Dale cartoons in 1952 in "Two Chips and a Miss".

when i went in 97 & 98 they seemed to be alot more characters then in 2004, i saw loads but i have never seen donald duck, pinochio was on his own once it was early one morning and he grabed me and started dancing with me! i cant remember his name but the bad guy out of hunch back, but that was when it was that theme though. :donald:

uhm, Gaston is out everytime-everywhere during the XmasSeason, and I swear, he was really really funny.

I remember, when i was young, to have met in DLRP D'Artagnan and the three musketeers.. I think it could be 1992.. when I also met Merlin.
Gosh, where are they today?
And I also remember 1994 when I had a ride on Carousel with Pinocchio, are they also do this kind of things?

Three Musketeers never knew they were in DLRP, as for Merlin he had a magic show where one child from the audience was picked to try their hardest to get the sword from the stone, they would usually succeed and would be knighted or something.  Sadly his show left in 2004 and with it went him it seems, which is a shame because he really is a good character.  I believe they are still allowed to ride things like the Carousel, but not seen any lately doing that.

Haha!  I'm not sure myself, he might be better with different hair. :? They're both veeery pretty though.  I've seen that Ariel in lots of photos over the past year, she's really good for the part. :)

Pocahnotas looks amazing again, Ali great even looks rather nice and I wonder why I want to work for this company :lol: , as for Jasmine I'm not sure she is the best person to put in that role, did DLRP start hiring from WDW :P .

Hi Guys.... I'm new here!.... just thought I'd add my 'rare' characters which I've met over the years at DLRP!

- Chewbacca (Star Wars) in 1997 outside Space Mountain.
- Gadget (Rescue Rangers) in 2001 on Central Plaza.
- Abu (Aladdin) in 2001 on Town Sq.
- Stromboli (Pinocchio) outside Pizzeria Belle Notte.
- Malificent (Sleeping Beauty) in 2003 behind the Castle (Haloween).
- John Smith (Pocahontas) in 2003 behind the Castle (Haloween).
- Jiminy Cricket (Pinocchio) in 2004 near Alice ride.
- The Mad Hatter (Alice) in 2004 near the Alice ride.

These are the rarer characters which I've met at DLRP that come to mind..... but I have collected over 120 different character pictures from different Disney themeparks!!
