I've been looking at the range on the DisneyStore...

Trying to find something for Wendybird1 for our Anniversary... and I've got some Ideas (mainly only from the Disneystore.... Earthday T-Shirt, Disney Plushie) Maybe some Disney Jewelry (other than the WTP Pendant and Earings I already got her)

So Maybe you can lead me to something nice...

Girls... I need help...

I'm not sure what to get her...

I'm getting Wendybird1 the Earth Day T-Shirt (Cause She Loves Winnie) but want to get her something sparkley... but it HAS to be a necklace as she's unfortunately broken the Winnie the Pooh one I bought her for our first Christmas (or was it our anniversary)

Not sure if Wendy is Wendybird's fave character, but there are some lovely and unusual Wendy things on eBay.com. Shipping from America can be pricey though.

Thanks Masamune, Although her username  Wendybird came solely from what I had called myself... and the fact we were taking about a friend who we've nicknamed tink! MOre of a Pooh Bear fan, and a Tink fan herself is that Wendybird

I know Shipping from the US is Pricy... its looking at $40 for Normal Post man Service or $99 for UPS... for my High School Musical Jersey which is more than I expected to say the least...
Title: Re: Disney Couture
Post by: Masamune on April 12, 2009, 04:59:48 PM
:? Jeez, that seems pretty overpriced, even for America. Sometimes people are very fair, but others just take advantage of the fact that not all Europeons are gonna know how much they should be paying for P&P.
Title: Re: Disney Couture
Post by: Captain Pan on April 12, 2009, 05:07:50 PM
Yeah it does... I nearly lost both my breakfast and my life looking at that figure eariler... and I'm onmly glad I've decided to buy 1 kit... and have Wendybird agreed to purchase our stuff together... its going to make it a lot cheeper...
Title: Re: Disney Couture
Post by: Masamune on April 13, 2009, 09:06:23 AM
What are you buying along with the jersey that's making the P&P cheaper?
Title: Re: Disney Couture

Quote from: "Masamune"What are you buying along with the jersey that's making the P&P cheaper?

No no no... Its not me being dull and assuming that P&P would be cheeper if the items are packaged together...

I placed all items (Shorts included) into the checkout... and the Numbers $90+ and $40+ came out of the website...

By placing our orders seperare we both would occur $75 or $37 P&P... each...
By placing them together we do actually make it a little easier.... and can split the cost..

With our anniversary being Friday I ordered her present off ASOS as the one I originally wanted from the Disney Store's website disappeared...

So I decided to get her this

I love Barry M cosmetics      especially their eye shadows! The nail polish does seem to chip quite easily though.  :x  :P

Wow Tom that necklace is lovely, one I have been looking at for a while, but I think I have too much Tink stuff at the moment.

I remember that you wanted to buy Sarah a charm bracelet from the Beauty and the Beast stage show, so I though of you (after hinting to Chris) when I saw this ... http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/9340 ... yName=0104 (http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/934032/product/Charmed_Bracelet.html?CatalogCategoryName=0104)
and the super cute charms (there are non disney too)
http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/9855 ... yName=0104 (http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/985599/product/Tinker_Bell_Charm.html?CatalogCategoryName=0104)
http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/9855 ... Charm.html (http://www.swarovski.com/Web_GB/en/985598/product/Thumper_Charm.html)

Maybe a suitable Birthday/Christmas/Valentines day gift? as you can build up the charms and they are fairly reasonable when bought separately. Although they are not Disney Couture :(

If anyone is in the Walt Disney World Resort area, a new store opened earlier this month at the Downtown Disney Marketplace called Tren-D.  Tren-D is a store designed for teenagers/young women and features merchandise that cannot be purchased anywhere else on Walt Disney World property.  Tren-D carries a large number of Disney Couture items - many of the items posted in this forum are sold there, plus things I have not seen online before.

The stuff at Tren-D is so cute - especially the pajamas!  There's a Disney Couture pajama set that has Figaro and Cleo from Pinnocchio and another set with Baloo and Mowgli from Jungle Book. . .really unique!  If only they had more Beauty and the Beast. . . . . . . . . .here's to wishful thinking :)

The compass is definatly on my wish listI will definatly be buying this ...http://www.asos.com/Disney-Couture/Kida ... 1&clr=Gold (http://www.asos.com/Disney-Couture/Kidada-For-Disney-Couture-Pocahontas-Gold-Plated-Feather-Themed-Ring/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=674413&cid=3705&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Gold) its quite simple, but beautiful at the same time, not to mention its my favourite colour!   Turquoise!! ooooo and I like the Bugle Bead Bracelet in blue, but  it looks a lot of money just for that

I only own one Disney couture thing, a black bracelet with gold detail reading "think of a wonderful thought".
Not as spectacular as some of the DC things but I love it nonetheless, my bf bought it for me for our 8th year anniversary :)

I just ordered this cool Alice in Wonderland bracelet (//http://www.disneystore.co.uk/tim-burtons-alice-disney-couture-alice-in-wonderland-silver-plated-key-bracelet/p/24058/309203/) via the UK Disney store.  I hope it'll get here soon!

I didn't know this was actually Disney couture (turns out I owned 2 items instead of one), but I have one of these (//http://www.disneystore.co.uk/tim-burtons-alice-disney-couture-alice-in-wonderland-silver-bottle-necklace/p/24062/309203/) too.  Only I got it via a friend who picked it up for me in a Hot Topic in the US :)

I'm so tempted by the Disney Couture Cheshire Cat ring. :( I can't really justify spending £27 on it though. I'm not really a lover of rings. If it was one of the necklaces I think I'd give in.

Yeah I'm not much of a ring person either.  I have one ring I wear (that my bf has given me) and that's it.  Same with necklaces really.

I must admit that initially I was quite sceptic about Disney Couture, but now that I own a few pieces myself I love it.  The quality is really very good and they're just lovely.
