Title: [WDW] Queueless Standby Line at Rock 'n' Rollercoaster
Post by: Willow on December 15, 2009, 06:03:29 PM
Today, Walt Disney World is experiementing which a new queueing system, which is likely to be used at the Dueling Dumbos in the Fantasyland Expansion.

Guests do not queue as normal, instead they recieve a ticket before then hanging out in an area with some activities going on and wait until their ticket number is called.

Is this the future of queueing in the Disney Parks?

Seems a good idea. I personally would like a large seating area and be able to wait there. But the wording on the ticket basically translates into 'go spend more money in the gift shop until its your turn'.
So in that respect it seems that this is another crafty way of tackling the credit crunch rather than worrying about the state of visitors and their tired legs.

Does anyone know how this experiment turned out?
