Disneyland Paris have sent out a list of opening dates and details for the Princesses dinner at Auberge de Cendrillon. Make sure you note this information if you'd like to eat there - it seems the restaurant is operating on a somewhat limited schedule (quelle surprise):

QuotePlease find below the closing and opening dates of the dinner at the restaurant Auberge de Cendrillon until end of September to help you give the most accurate information to your guests.

For the end of May 2012:
Dinner will only be available on these dates: 26, 27, 28.

For June 2012:
From June 1st to June 15th: Dinner will be only available on Saturdays.
From June 16th to June 30th: Dinner will be available every day.

For July / August 2012:
Dinner will be available every day.

For September 2012:
Dinner is not planned to be available for September.

Please keep in mind that, as we will be performing the Dreams show in the evening, restaurant will have to be closed earlier and no reservation will be taken after 20:00 on May and June and 20:30 on July and August.

How long are in there roughly? How many princes/princesses? Princess pavillion is looking like it going to be at least a 60min queue and only meeting 1 princess. Might save for a meal!!!

I looked at some videos on youtube and it apperars that all princes and princesses appear or at least 3 or 4 sets in the vids Ive seen- Snow White and prince, Ariel and prince, Belle and prince, Cinderella and prince as well as perla and suzy mouse from Cinderella.  It would appear that you are greeted on arrival by cinderella and they all spend time at the tables and sign autographs and pose for photos from the reviews Ive read.  ive also read reviews that say the children get a gift of wands for girls and knights swords or shields for the boys.  It also appears from the vidoes that the prince and princesses dance for your entertainment and there appears to be all round brilliant interaction with the dining guests from the princes and princesses.

We fully intend to do this on our next trip later this year especially as we have Half Board premium vouchers.  The menu doesnt appear to be to general tastes and possibly not to ours but we will try it.  For us its more about the character interaction experience for my children in a relaxed happy environment rather than queueing for hours at the new princess pavillion.

We did this last week, just me and my daughter (5) because my 2 year old son would have caused chaos and it was nice to have some girly time together.

there were no gifts given.
No photographer there, but I took lots of my own photos, and didn't feel rushed by the princesses at all.

We saw Cinderella and Prince Charming, Sleeping Beauty (aurora) and Tiana (beautiful dress!), and the mice Suzi and Perla were there as well.

Both mice danced with my daughter, and commented (in signs) about her costume.
I'm vegetarian, so my food choices were limited, but the food was very good, and I was almost tempted to eat meat for the day to get my money's worth and because the meat looked really, really good.  So don't worry about the menu.  It looks really lovely if you eat meat!

And Jonathan, I'd totally agree with you, it seemed to me a much better option than the princess pavillion to be honest.

As we were leaving, the ugly sisters were outside as well.  But we didn't manage to get photos with them because there was quite a crowd and a lot of pushing going on.  We were told the whole thing would take about 1.5 hours, but it took us 2.5 hours!!  Evie does eat slowly, but I'd still allow a good 2 hours for this.  But it's a nice peaceful haven from the rest of Disney!

Hang on, I'll get some photos for you....

Hi, we are planning on booking this meal for our trip next month. We did it a few years ago and it was wonderful. We met Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and her Prince, Belle and Suzy and Perla. I wondered if there was any way you could find out which Princesses were there at whatever time. We really want to meet Ariel. She is my favourite and I've never met her :( Would City Hall know who was there at a certain time, or imdeed if I enquired at Auberge each morning? If there's no way of finding out, we'll just take pot luck and go anyway. It's our favourite disney dining experience so I know we'll have a fab time regardless!

Also we have half board standard vouchers. Can we use these towards the price to get a discount off the meal cost? I workes out that they will cover half the cost which would be great! If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it. :)

Yes as far as I know you can use your HB standard vouchers as part payment and pay the remainder.

It would certainly be worth asking at City Hall or at the Auberge or maybe even your hotel concierge for info as to who is appearing and when.  They may not know but its worth asking cos if you dont ask you dont get as they say  ;)

Good luck and enjoy!!

I'm thinking very strongly of doing this in dec with my two dd's. One is 4.5, and the other will be 2.5. Will I just have to pay an adult rate for me, child rate for dd1 and dd2 whose under 3 can have a meal for free?

You'll be paying the adult rate for yourself and the child rate for your 4 year old.  While under 3's eat 'free' they dont neccessarily get a 'free' meal.  Ive found out that they are entitled to eat off of your plate rather than get a whole free meal to themsleves.  Ive heard in many instances that restauraunts and the Auberge in particular have been known to give the under 3's free meals but its been at the discretion of who is on duty at the time apparently and theyve been known to lean towards the HB Premium voucher holders when doing this too apparently.

I took my adult daughter to the Auberge de Cendrillon last Thursday and we had a fabulous time. We used our half board plus voucher which covered the first 32 euros each so there was still a fair bit more to pay! For those that have been before, be warned, it has changed a bit..... The price has gone up and the menu has changed. Instead of a trio of starters you get to choose from a choice of 3 or 4, in my opinion this is better. There is still a choice of delicious main courses but the lovely 'forgotten vegetables' have been replaced by ratatouille. The desert has changed from the trio of deserts to just one chocolate cup filled with chocolate mousse more like Angel Delight.... Cinderella no longer poses at the entrance for photographs and there are no photographs given out at the end of the meal. The children no longer receive gifts of fairy wand or helmet. The drinks are no longer included in the price either, we used to get free wine!! Having said all this, the meal was lovely and we saw Suzy and Perla (the 2 mice) Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty with Prince Philip and Snow White. Very pricey though!!

Thanks for the update, can you remember the menu options at all? We go for the First time in a couple of weeks and we aren't sure whether to go to Inventions or Auberge, but the fact they have stopped the little  extras that make things special has put me off a bit :(

The Menu is on DLRP and I've checked that it has been updated, and it has! It is a difficult choice between Auberge and Inventions as both are absolutely lovely. I hope that you have a great time.

Title: Auberge de Cendrillon Question?
Post by: Pluto2011Pluto on September 18, 2012, 11:16:53 PM
Hi this is an question for all parents that have daughters/sons who big fans Disney Princess and Princes have any of you parents with your daughters/sons  ever  had lunch/dinner in Auberge de Cendrillon.

If you did have lunch/dinner in Auberge de Cendrillon did the princess and princes ever speak to your daughters/sons asking them question what are their age, where their from and witch on of the princess and princes the like best.

I went last year(2011) for the enchanted christmas and  had lunch  inside Auberge de Cendrillon  but because I did not know witch princess and princes to expect I was worried to talk to them.

I hope do go on either march 22,23,24 or 25 2013 to have dinner inside Auberge de Cendrillon and now I know witch princess and princes more ready to talk to them,

We had lunch there twice in different seasons. The food is really good, if you like what they serve. (Take a look at the menue)
You can talk to the princessess and princes with no problem. They have more or less time for an individual fepending on the amount o of people there.
They come to each table. They ask questions to. About age, where you are from...
Hope that helps.

I don't think they are likely to ask 2 adults with no children at the table how old they are. They will make conversation with you though, its like every other character meal, each individual character will try to come around and visit each occupied table in the restaurant, and you can talk to them, get a photo, autograph.

Me and my friend ate there last year. We were 18 at the time but both amazing princess fans. I saw "Belle" on a previous trip and she remembered me, but Cinderella and Aurora were amazing and just asked "What we've done today" "who have we seen", "Rides we've been on." All the general character questions. We didn't ask anything to them just "can we have a photo please" . Ha. But Belle and Beast were amazing and made us laugh and just a great experience.

We have booked this meal for May while booking our package online. Does anyone know if you need to let them know about peanut allergy and vegi before hand or can you do it on the day?

Also, we have booked for 12 noon, first sitting. Can you stay as long as you want or do they set the time you can stay? We found the princess pavillian to stressful for our daughter last year (and Auberge de Cendrillion was closed) so we only got to see one princess. We are desperate to see as many as possible. Thank you  :)

Thats amazing that Belle remembered you. Can I ask, do they push you along if you stay to long there? Have read in a few posts that your there 1 - 2 hours. Was hoping to see as many princesses as possible to avoide the queues to see them in the pavillion. Thanks

you will see all the Princesses in your time at the Auberge - if one misses your table tell your waiter/waitress and they will arrange for them to come back to you when they do their next round of the tables.

Tried to book this restaurant today & was told its not on their system yet even though it's well within the 6weeks. Going to call back at the end of the week & hope its available to book as its my daughters birthday the day we'd like to eat there.

I havent seen a time limit mentioned anywhere but suppose it would depend on its opening hours.

Thanks Kate87. Have you tried checking the Disneyland site to see if the date is available there for the lunch? I have booked our table for May 2013. You can do a dummy booking on http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml (http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/index.xhtml%22%20target=%22_blank%22%20rel=%22nofollow) . I did this to get ideas of bookings and available charactor meals etc as when we went last year the Auberge De Cenrillion was shut for a referb and my daughter was so upset. (sorry hope that makes sence)

Hiya, I presume it is as we've booked it for that particular date along with our hotel booking, I just need to call to reserve a table. If it was closed I hope it wouldnt have let us already book it & the lady on the phone didnt mention any plans for it to be shut. Its also on a weekend In the school holidays so a relatively busy time.

Will try again & hopefully have it sorted thankyou.

Hi all, new to this board but I have found it fab since to look around in the run up to booking Disney.

I have booked this restaurant for my 3 year old daughter and I for our stay on the 22nd Feb 2013.  I have looked at all the photos and information and the menu and cay honestly say that I am so pleased that I have booked it.

I am happy to queue for Princess Pavilion but I know that I get food and guaranteed food first.  She doesn't know it yet but I have also booked her in for the Princess experience before the lunch so she gets the whole works...

So excited about this, I will be taking lots and lots of pics and will post here as soon as I am home.

We just booked a special birthday trip to Euro Disney because our daughter is a huge disney princess fan. The highlight of the trip was to be the princess meal. Now looking at the menu we discover we cannot go because there is NO vegetarian option (sure the adults can fork out 65 euros for a bit of mushroom soup followed by a mushroom tart!) but for the children the choice is beef, chicken or salmon! How can they be this discriminatory? Our daughter will be so disappointed.

I often have lunch at Auberge de Cendrillon and I'm a vegetarian! The starter at Auberge is one of my favourites in the resort. If there's no vegetarian option on the menu, just ask and they will make something special for you....

PS. The place's called Disneyland Paris these days.  ;)

Oh and the Vegetable Voyage at The Blue Lagoon is a DELICIOUS vegetarian dish!

It does book as quickly as the other charactor meals. Might be worth booking a couple of differnt days and just cancelling them once you know your plans. We have booked for this meal twice on our trip as using premium vouchers and one booking was a last evening time slot for what we wanted. We booked 2 months in advance.

Just back and sad to say was quite gutted with the meal :( We went for my daughters birthday and the princess' were great. They interacted with the kids and posed for photos etc but after seeing pictures I thought the princess' danced with the princes a bit. There were tables all over the 'dance floor' though so obviously they didn't do that. Our waiter didn't really listen to us either. The kids starter was listed as 'Fairy's delights' we asked what this was and he said it was cheese and bread. ok no problem. then he brought out some pink stuff and toast. We asked what it was and he said 'childs food' before walking away. Hubby tried it and it was salmon. Glad he did as our daughter is allergic to fish.

The adults food was lovely though, I had the truffle stuffed quail with pear chutney

hubby had the salmon tartare

We ordered grilled beef burger and gravy for both kids but it took an age to come. This in itself wasn't a problem as Cinderella and snow white came around in that time so the kids were happy. However when the food came it was cold so we had to send it back. When it came back again we noticed the burger was pink inside. We decided this must be a French thing and wern't about to send it back again so told the kids to just eat the edge and the rest of the food. That didn't work too well for our son however as he complained his mashed potato had bits in it. I tried it and yeah it was really lumpy. I mashed it with his fork a bit and mixed it with gravy and told him to do his best.

Again the adults food was great. We both had the scallops in the champagne sauce
(//http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag117/gemmasteele84/disney/422_zps71a18973.jpg) (//http://s1301.photobucket.com/user/gemmasteele84/media/disney/422_zps71a18973.jpg.html)
As it was my daughters birthday we had ordered a cake. There were a couple of birthdays while we were there and we noticed only the waiters brought the cake out. We asked if one of the princess' could be there as well and told 'if they can' I was surprised as I thought that was a given if you booked it there. In the end sleeping beauty and the prince brought hers out along with the staff which was nice. :)
Over all for the price I wouldn't do it again. I get you're paying mainly for the princess interaction but I expected more than cold food and lumpy mashed potato :(

Oh yeah the kids loved it so Im glad we did it for her birthday. But now we've done it I wouldnt do it again iykwim. The princess and mice were great and really attentive so couldnt fault that, was just the other service.
It was really busy though so that might have made it different to usual. Our waiter seemed very stressed out.

Oh I def recomend the cake. Its a triple layer choc cake and is delicious. Ask for small slices though as they gave us half the cake between the 4 of us which was way too much as its very dense and rich so was a bit of a waste lol.
The puddings were nice, the adults was kind of a chocolate, biscuit cake with a cinnimon type taste. Couldnt really identify it but it was nice.

The kids was similar but with a Cinderella chocolate lolly and white chocolate glass slipper too.

Thanks Gemmasteele84, your photos and princess meal info has been a great help. We have booked this meal twice, bit worried now as our daughter has a peanut allergy and wont eat most meat or fish. BUT the princesses sound like its well worth it. Going to go and read your trip report now  :)

Shame about the dance, we where looking forward to that bit  :(

I'm going to disneyland paris in a few weeks and I'm really hoping to go here, but I have a slight issue..
Does anyone who has been there recently know if someone over 11 can order off the chilrdens menu? My sister's seventeen but she's incredibly picky and I'm dying to go here for my birthday, but as it's just the two of us it'll be a hard sell if there's nothing on the menu which she'll eat. Any help would be appreciated !

We went to this meal on 28th May 2013, Snow White and Prince Charming did there dance by the fire place once an hour.  Its amazing to watch and all the charactors stand and watch them do it too. Our waiter was amazing, couldnt so enough to help. There is a vegi option on the menu when you get there, plus the childs meal was listed in there too if I remember correctly but didnt give much detail on started or desert. Just choice of main.

We didnt go for the food luckly, as my daughter and me didnt eat but my husband had enough to last him all day and loved it. We saw Snow White, The Prince, Arial and Cindrella plus the mice. They dont rush round so give yourself a good 2.5hrs in there to see them all. Would highly recommend to any princess fans, specially to save on the 2+ hrs of queues at the pavillion.

Hi Choti. We used our Premium meal vouchers so yes we did pay for all 3 of us to eat. But we where not bothered about that as we love the princesses. We are planning on doing it again when we visit next year. We arnt big eater anyway  :)  It really is worth the experience but allow plenty of time as its all very relaxed and unrushed.

Hi, I thought i would bump this up and ask a few questions....

1. I'm visiting in Feb half term 2015, and hoping to visit here. Does it open everyday? What do the characters come out in the day? I am hoping to eventually to make a reservation for our first day (tuesday 17th feb), around 1.30pm
2.What is the exact cost for here? Does it include a soft drink? We will have half board plus vouchers and will pay the difference....
3. Who have you seen here? and when?

Thanks

1) It should be open every day, but I recommend making a reservation as soon as you can (and it's basically possible now, as you're within the 60 day limit), that way you can guarantee a spot at the time that you want. This restaurant is ALWAYS busy, and will probably be fully booked by the time you actually get to the park.

2) Cost is €65.99 per adult and €36.00 for children. This is expensive, but the food is good and the interaction with the various characters is priceless (tip: keep autograph books handy if you're collecting them). And that is with a drink I believe. ;D

3) I went on the 17th of September 2014 and met Suzy, Perla, Cinderella and Prince Charming. Ariel and Aurora were also in the restaurant, but Ariel decided to skip my table and Aurora hadn't come around to my corner of the restaurant yet when I was ready to go. :D

We went on 29th Nov and had the most amazing time as usual. We took my 2 yr old grandson who simply adores the princesses and they were all so cute with him and happy to get down to his level and let him climb all over them! we saw Suzy and Perla, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle and the Beast as a prince. Since the park was crazy busy that day it was lovely to take some time out for a bit of magic!

I'm thinking of booking this for myself my 2 daughters aged 15 & 3 & my friend & her daughter aged 6
Is Cinderella always there?
My little lady doesn't understand dlp but is telling everyone she's going to meet cinderelli
It would save me some princess stalking if we could meet her here

I would go at noon, the 12:00 sitting. You`re the first one in, you can look around better, and the characters do come to you with a little less hassle.
Why not do the cake at the Auberge? Then a princess will bring it out (I think)
Have a great trip!

Hi.

We are going to DLP in February and would like to book lunch with the Princesses at Auberge de Cendrillon.

We visited this restaurant to meet the princesses in May 2014 and my daughter loved it BUT really did not like the food on offer on the children's menu.  Like many kids of a young age she prefers sausages, nuggets, burgers, pizza and not the sort of "fine dining" that they offer in that restaurant.  Whilst my wife and I very much enjoyed the food in the restaurant it was a little too fancy for our daughter.

She loved lunch with the princesses and it seems a shame to miss out on doing that because the children's menu isn't to her liking.

Does anyone know if they are able to prepare something a little more child friendly if we asked them to?

We are staying at the DLH and have a premium meal plan which includes Character dining.

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks.

They were very accommodating with us as my boys have lots of intolerances. They were happy to do the chicken breast plain there was a large potato rosti type thing which they liked. They really did ask they could to make stuff my boys would eat

Hi hope someone can help, I'm visiting next new year (2017/2018) I can't bring myself to pay the 500-750 for a New Year's Eve meal but they do have the option for me to book to have lunch at 3pm here! I was just wondering is LUNCH still the meal that I see on the menu or is that a dinner menu? I didn't know if lunch would be a smaller meal? Thanks x

As far as I'm aware there is no separate lunch menu, so yes they'll be using the same menu for Lunch and Dinner. :)
