Miley Ray Cyrus (a/k/a Hannah Montana to your tween girls) is going to stage her "Sweet Sixteenth" Birthday party one month early at Disneyland. And they will be charging admission as a "hard ticket" event.
At $250 (USA) a head. Tickets will go on sale August 30th.

I think if I were around DLC then I would give it a miss. Not because of the Birthday Party, but $250 :shock: ..........I don't think so [-X
I'd spend the day by the hotel pool :wink:
Epcot_Boy :ears:
Given that her concert tour sold out so far in advance, and nobody else got tickets, some people may have to take out another mortage, and in these times, it's so darned risky.

Off topic but i was watching What the Buck ?, and he was taking the mick out of her names saying;
QuoteDestiny, Miley, Hannah. Who ever the Hell you are ?! :lol:
And i would definatly go to it if i lived in california ! :D
I just choked on my drink a little bit...
WHAT? SHE'S PERFORMING IN DISNEYLAND? I'm so glad its not Paris! And $250 dollars for tickets? Thats a ripoff!

Official web minisite just went up:

Let me check...no.
Steph would make puppy eyes at me for this, but would still get a firm "No!" She loves Miley.
Miley doesnt really need the money does she? Richest teen in the world. maybe she need to read this forum and pick up on Kristoffs hint.
But if Miley would like to pay for us to all go to Disney, I wouldnt complain-that'd be a nice prezzy for us all instead:D
Charity ? More likely its for the Hanna Montana Retirement Fund :P
I believe we have a POST OF THE DAY winner!
Quote from: "AmericanMouse"I believe we have a POST OF THE DAY winner!
Youth Service America will be prominently present at the event (and also on the official website), so I assume it is a charity event.

Yes, Youth Service America is having a part of this, but right now, we should not assume that it will be a fundraiser.
After all, we know what happens when one assumes something...
I'll get the rotton tomatoes...
Oh, a Craig Charles "Takeshi's Castle" ending in the making:
"As my old dad used to say 'You get the rotten tomatoes and I'll wear the Mad Hatter masquerade.'"
Back on topic, YSA says only 5,000 tickets will be available.
//http://www.ysa.org
5000 x $250 = $1.25m
Say Hanna's cut is at most 15%, that's $187,500 :? That's gonna last her long, def not able to retire unless its to a housing project. Need to find new TV show me thinks.

NO PLEASE! NOT ANOTHER ONE! :cry:
Wow well ok good for her, I mean who wouldn't want their birthday at disneyland? I don't exactly understand the complete hype about Miley Cyrus. I watched an episode of Hannah Montana today to see what it was like, it's alright but it's nothing amazing in my opinion, although I guess I can see why kids like it!
If it's for charity then ok that's pretty cool and a good way to raise funds, if i had celebrity status I think I would try to use it for charity events..however as someone once said to me...why do the rich and famous spend time asking us to donate when they could simply donate some of their mass fortune!
Anyway I wouldn't pay it to go into the park with Miley, especially as there's no guarente of meeting her or her even doing a concert...and actually I only know the theme sound to the show "Best of both worlds".
I like her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, I used to watch a show he was in called Doc...I think he's really attractive hehe!

Well, there is a movie coming out next year that also features Vanessa Williams, the dethroned Miss America 1984...
I doubt she will even get much of the money, not like she wants it. Shes already ranked 17 on forbes top earners under 25. Plus shes getting a 16th at disneyland :shock:
It says on the website that tickets will go on sale 9am today PDT. If im correct is that los angeles time? If so i think los angeles are 7 hours behind us which mean for the uk tickets will go on sale at 16:00 this afternoon?
Yes, and from what I heard, all the tickets were gone in an hour or less.

Wow! Although in many ways I am not surprised! :P
