Title: Stunning 15th Anniversary LE Pin Set
Post by: Jayna62 on April 13, 2007, 07:01:36 PM
:pluto: Just got back from DLRP today and have managed to get hold of one of the limited edition, 5 pin box sets, once again they are limited to only 400 pieces and do not go officially go on sale until Saturday the 14th. If you are a pin collecter this is really is a dream set and each piece seems to have what looks like tiny little gem stones set into them.

First pic here:

We actually got the 15th countdown pins -4J, -3J, -2J, -1J at the same time but they were only €10.90 each, Jayna also bought a starter lanyard for some extra swaps, they had them on offer at €9.90 (half price) and we did get our AP 10% discount so all in all it wasn't too bad.

Just a thought, the price really didn't come into it when you consider that we had only got home from DLRP on Saturday and we only went back to get these pins so the €45 box set also cost us 2 nights in a Campanile hotel and a return Seafrance ferry, £45 in diesel, toll charges etc... food for 2 days and nights..... must be the dearest box set we'll ever buy

Yeah, but the experience and memory are worth every penny!

They're nice, but again I don't think I'd pay that much. I like the Tink pin though.

I mainly collect Princess pins, particularly Belle and Ariel, so I would have most probably given these a miss.

The pin set - which I got as well - is absolutely fantastic.
I also got the complete count down set EXCEPT the J-100 - is anyone selling one?

eBay is GREAT :)  I just found the J-100 pin, and ordered it - worth every penny indeed :o)  Pretty happy I have the complete set now :)
