Title: Princess dresses - older sizes
Post by: haribosmum on January 20, 2016, 02:53:22 PM
Has anyone who's been to the park lately seen any older child size Princess Dresses.  I'm wondering whether to buy from disneystore online or wait till we're there.  We'd need 11-12 or even age 13 and I can only remember ever seeing the smaller sizes in the shops.

That's good, I'd rather my daughter got to buy it there out of her spending money! also from the items I've got online, the euro price would be cheaper than the pound price.

We looked at the bigger dresses this winter. My girl is 11y6m, but very tall. She liked  Anna's green-dark blue dress A LOT, but these for 12 year were smaller. So we ended up buying nothing.

my daughter is only 8 but has grown out of her 9-10 snow white.  I bought the age 13 Descendants outfit, though this was jacket/leggings rather than dress.

A few shops will have up to age 13, but you may have to look around a lot. La Chaumière des Sept Nains is a good place for dresses, as is Galerie Mickey.

It's very sad, as she is so lovely! An Anna festival dress would have looked cute for her!

Some of the dresses seemed really big when I last visited. I'm quite short 5'4 but they would have been too long / wide for me so it shouldn't be an issue too much.

Looking at the Disney store they currently have 2 types of dresses for most princesses, one at £30.95 and one at £60.  Are there different dresses available in the park?  Anyone seen what price they are?  On something I bought recently (Lumiere) it was the same price in euros as £'s on the tag (or almost, I just remember thinking it would be cheaper for me to buy in euros).

I know not officially Disney but I am really into Disney 'themed' dresses. I have ordered a hand made Anna inspired tutu dress from a lady in the UK for my daughter, it's costing me £40 but it's hand made and gorgeous, and also completely unique. I am also going to try my hand at making a rapunzel tutu dress too, ordered the things yesterday!
