o.o What's "Le pays des contes de fées"? And will Autopia be closing in October of this year too?

Le pays des contes de fees is the boat ride at the back of Fantasyland beyond the railroad taking people through some miniture scenes from fairytales and Autopia closes every October for a winter rehab.

QuoteThunder Mesa Riverboat Landing: return of Mark Twain on fridays, saturdays, sundays and mondays starting 11/03
Yess!!!! :D :D
Shame it's not daily operation, but it's a start I guess.
The Big Thunder Mountain rehab has been resheduled from 17/08 to 14/10.
At first that shocked me, but I guess it makes sense. They'll want BTM to be open for the busy part of the Halloween festival, and now that they'll have the Keelboats and Riverboat (as well as the extra capacity from Buzz) they don't have to be too worried about closing it during August.
BTM is the ride most in-need of a refurbishment anyway, so it's all good.
Maybe it will be open only during the afternoons are something like that. That was rumoured a long time ago. :?:
A friend CM has been told that the castle will be covered in scaffolding somehwere this year for an extensive repaint and rehab!
(yay :D )
LOL, if that happens during the Big Thunder refurb, can you imagine the amount of complaints at City Hall??! :?
Great news anyway, from a distance it still looks as beautiful as ever, but the cracks are beginning to show. I'm glad they're doing it now rather than leaving it even longer (which is what would have happened a few years ago).
I just thought - maybe the Castle refurb will be in October. This way, they won't have BTM and the Castle covered up at the same time (for too long), and they'll be able to cover up the castle works by saying the "pumpkinmen have attacked it!" or something.
Basically, if they don't do the refurb before November, then they're going to have to do it in January 2007 - they can't have Christmas without the castle!
Quote from: "Baloo"I just thought - maybe the Castle refurb will be in October.
Or perhaps in September? Just after the Summer Season and before the busy Halloween Season.
Yeah, that could work actually. I was just imagining the horror for some guests if they turned up to find BTM closed and the castle covered in scaffolding...
I wonder how long they'll need? :?
September will bee better cot there is barely any people there. The castle is diying for a rehab
Quote from: "Dlrpfan"The castle is diying for a rehab
Indeed, just like the bridge in front of the castle. I've had a picture of the bad shape of the bridge somewhere, but I can't find it anymore. Believe me, its really bad.
The latest official closure dates show two new closures and alteration:
Moteurs... Action!
6th to 18th June 2006
Pirates' Beach
29th May to 9th June 2006
Big Thunder Mountain
21st August to 6th October 2006
Hopefully they're repainting and repairing the stunt show sets.
Do you know whether the park entry will be cheaper in September? I won't go there this year but I would definitely not pay the same price while BTM is closed ;)
When will the closure dates of next year be released? In February/March?

On the offical disneyland homepage it says that big thunder mountain will be closed from june 6th to june 18th?? I really hope so because I will go to disineyland inseptember and its my favourite attraction....
I loked again and it only says so on the german page...strange
Hi Swity, I'm sorry, those dates have been confirmed by the park managment. :(
The refurbed POTC reopened this week. Lots of work was done to bring the ride back to its original glamour:
- Additional light was added to the Caribbean Esplanade (the outside queue line)
- All costumes were replaced by identical new ones
- The treasure with squid and crab received additional lighting
- The swinging Pirate has returned
- The canonball splashing effect is back
- Smoke is back at the second drop
- Water has been replaced
Great stuff! Lovely to see they take such good care of the attractions. I hope they sorted out the smelly queue line too... lol
...does anyone know whether I can expect a "rehab-free" DLRP next year? ;)
I hope that all these (great!) rehabs are only planned to prepare the 15th-Birthday-Party.
I don't think there will be a lot of rehabs next year, probably just the ones they have to do annualy (for the safety of the guests).
Quote from: "Nala_84"...does anyone know whether I can expect a "rehab-free" DLRP next year? ;)
Well, the parks are usually "rehab-free" when they are expecting high attendance. So if you can deal with crowds, all the attractions you like might be open.
WOW that sounds fantastic about Pirates and all I expected was a simple cleaning of some areas but no completely redone thngs yay, getting me even more excited to see it next week dunno why but I love the splashing water at the cannonball area  .
Space Mountain has to close at least 2 times for a check-up. And RNRC closes at least once a month (normally, what is said by a CM) for a technical check-up. but that is not really a refurb ;-)
Dates up to June 2007: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/resort/ ... dclosures/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/guides/resort/practical/scheduledclosures/)
Aside from the much-moaned-about Big Thunder closure, there's going to be lots of 2-week closures of the main attractions, plus *finally* the start of Molly Brown's long refurbishment (early September to late April!!). There's so much working being done that they're even refurbishing Liberty Arcade and the statue of liberty tableaux!! Oh, and the Studios have some closures this time aswell - aswell as a strange 3-week Tram Tour closure in November, there will be a 3-week Flying Carpets closure in March, probably so that they can do some major improvements in that area ready for the Toon Studio changeover.
Quote from: "Baloo"*finally* the start of Molly Brown's long refurbishment (early September to late April!!).
Thats great news. I thought that Molly Brown was damaged so much that it could never ever cruise over the Rivers of the Far West again. I'm glad to hear that's not true. It seems like next summer, during the 15th, Frontierland will shine again after years of neglect. Two refurbished riverboats, a Big Thunder Mountain as new... and ofcourse all other rehabs of the restaurants and other buildings...
with Pirates only being closed for a week in January, it doesnt look like we are to get the rummoured movie additions like Disneyland and WDW??
Quote from: "penfold12"with Pirates only being closed for a week in January, it doesnt look like we are to get the rummoured movie additions like Disneyland and WDW??
Yeah, those rumours have died a slow death, and I guess this confirms it.
I suppose with three new WDS attractions, a new parade and more, they don't really need to play the "pirates" card yet. They should keep it for another round, or maybe not play it at all, just keep the attraction original and market it that way. I suppose if they need a fairly cheap new attraction to market for 2008/09/10 then it'd be an obvious choice...
....no.........
After seeing Dead Mans Chest a few days ago I was really looking forward to seeing the improved attraction. POTC is one of my favorite rides and to improve it is like giving me one hundred gifts all in one.
:hook: At least we have the original!
Do any of you no if anything is Closed during the weekend of march the 2nd to the 3rd ! ?
Any Information will be Helpful thanks :D

Disneyland Park May Refurbish The Castle During The Night's So There Isn't Scaffolding around La Cheatu de la belle bois (sleeping beauty castle)
As we are planning to go in September does anybody know what atractions will be closed??Because 2 times we went to DRP Big Thunder Mountain, may favourite attraction has always been closed....So it would be very important to know if it will be closed again....Or if nobody knows mayby somebody can say me when you will know which attractions will be closed then...Thanks...
Were going im September too so hopefully everything will be open ( fingers crossed ) BTM was closed for about 3 months last year if I remember rightly for a major overhaul, so it looks promising that everything will be fine for 2007, with no major closures. when are you goin we are going 16th to 20th and staying in the cheyenne.
We're going from the 3rd till the 6th september. I asked on the reservation hotline if any attractions will be closed. And she told me that all the popular attractions will be open. just Pocahontas Indian Village and Critter Coral are closed.
Nooo, not Critter Corral :( I love the animals and the atmosphere there so much... but better this is closed than BTM or something
Critter Corral has been closed for a few years now, it's just sitting there empty. I don't know why. I guess the animals moved to Davy Crockett Ranch.
Really? I didn't recognize that :D!
On our last visit in October 2005 we also were in Critter Corral, but there were only a few animals, a few sheeps, chicken and a turkey.
Were there more animals before? I've got a picture of 1992 on which I'm sitting there touching a little pig ;) (I was 8 years old)
Post the picture ! :)
Last year I have seen a donkey there. But it was only out of the train. Was in august.
i have never seen more then a few chickens :ears:
i think that it is a shame as animals could live there all year round as they all have good houseing and shelter and it would be nice to see that area being used more all year round :mickey1:
DD's plan-She's going to learn better French than me (but that wouldnt take much with my Essex accent! :P ) and go and work in DLRP opening up Critter Corral as she wants to train as a vet! Then she'd get to work with animals and be in DLRP! Heaven! :mickey2:
M'be she could employ her poor old Mum as an assistant LOL
Hi. Does anyone have any more up-to-date information about planned ride closures?
We are going 27/10 to 1/11 and are hoping POTC and BTM are open then!
Thanks - Alison
Are autopa and that boat ride Le Pays des Contes de Fées and Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque always closed in February. There usually announced by now on the official website at least maybe there trying to keep them open as this the 15th anniversary year.

Yes thats when it had the huge job, repainting and fixing things.
Someone told me that most of the rides at the parks have had their maintenance closures before the 15th Anniversary. He said that if any of these rides needed any maintenance work it would be done overnight (Unless it's really urgent of course ).
Phew thanks for that rnrcj, I have been keeping my fingers crossed for no closures, Means I too can ride Autopia and the tram tour which has been closed everytime ive been

Not true. There have been more rehabs than usual, but the normal maintenances have to be done on a regular, fixed base. These have all been scheduled over a year up front.

We're lucky - they'll both re-open on our last day there (13th). It's a Small World has been closed on both my trips to WDW - I've never been on it, so really looking forward to doing it at DLRP.
Looked on the Disneyland Paris site and there is nothing about Its a Small World being closed! They have info for Indiana Jones though! Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?? :o
On the DLP site it says that BTM is closed from January 2008 until November 2008. Did I read that right? I thought it was going to be closed December 10th to the 15th in 2007?
Does anyone know?
(I'll be there from 18th December until 22nd so not too worried about it.)
Thought that January to November sounded a bit extreme though!
What page did you see this on, got a URL? :? I've just looked on the French calendar, and it is saying Big Thunder Mountain 7th to 18th January, rather than 10th to 14th December as we originally heard. IASW is apparently now 21st Jan to 1st February, rather than 28th to 8th....
It'd be a full time job trying to keeping track of all this...
I can at least assure you Jan-Nov is absolutely not true anyway.
the URL is http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/reha ... ures.xhtml (http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/rehabs-and-closures.xhtml)
I'm sure it must be a mistake though
thanks :)
 No, no, no. It can't be possible! BTM closed from 7th to 18th January and I will be there between the 7th and 11th. Woe is me! Ah well, I will just have to go on POTC twice a day instead of only once but I still wish they would revert to the December closure dates as originally scheduled.

Hi

Just thought i would add that Space Mountain is showing as being closed from the 5th-7th February 2008.
I just checked the Disneyland Paris website as that is when we are going. Just my luck!!! :(

i have been told today that thunder mountain is now shut in jan not december :D i was feeling really guilty last night when i read it was closed for our visit 10-14th dec as my son loves that ride and had i stuck with our first dates of going on the 9th it would have been open for 1 day but when i booked they confimed nothing closed whoo whoo i questioned the thunder mountain date sand they said they have been changed to jan so dont know if you want to update the list? :?

We'll be going from December 30 to January 4. I was specially thinking of Autopia, Casey Junior and Storybookland (even though it's not called Storybookland  ). I have never really experienced that those attractions were opened during winter time.
Hi Flounder,
We'll be there from the 1st to the 5th Jan and according to the calendar on the main dlrp website nothing is closed - so you should get chance to go on the rides you want in fantasyland this time.
Casey Junior and Autotopia are particular faves of both my children :-)
Have a great time ! :-)

Hi! :mickey2: Does anyone know if Its a Small world will be shut in Feb? I've looked on a few sites but all say someting different. I go 3rd - 10th Feb :ears:
Does anybody know how often the hotel pools are closed in a year? Originally I had plans to stay in Newport Bay Club in July but due to private reasons it seems to be September now. Will the Newport Bay Club Pool be open in September? Especially the area outside. And does anybody already know if there are any attractions closed?
Attractions won't be for a few months, but pool closures are here: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closu ... bishments/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/)
The outside area will only be open according to weather.

We are going 4th - 8th February, so I was really worried to see the Space Mountain closure from 5th - 7th on the refurbishment list (//http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/).
SM2 being the only thrill ride opened during the Extra Magic Hours I called the park and asked if there will be a replacement. The nice lady didn't know about that closure, so she phoned her manager and after that she even phoned the Space Mountain staff to be sure. She assured me that
SM2 will NOT be closed in that week.
In fact NO attraction is scheduled for closure in that time period ("It's a small world" will be closed on the 1st Feb only).
:D
Thats great news, i am so glad Space Mountain is not closed.
I am there from the 4th-8th as well. Where are you staying?????

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel. Finally affordable with the 4th night/5th day for free and both kids (both <12 years) for free as well!!
Just to let everyone know, I've heard that the Snow White ride in DLRP is closed from 31st March to the 4th April.
Just to let everyone know it says on //http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/ that Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril is closed the 8th to 19th of September 2008.
I go the 15-20th does anyone know if anything else is closed
Is it for sure? I didn't find any information on the official DLRP homepage (UK and Germany).
The scheduled closure of Space Mountain: Mission 2 from 20th to 22nd May has been removed (!) from the official DLRP site. Anyone knows if this has happened on purpose or if this is an error?

Hi
By any chance, does anyone know if there are going to be any referbishments during the 5th-12th Ocotber 2008?As I am planning to visit DLRP during those dates.
Thanks in advance.
I have just come back from disney yesturday and just wanted to let you all know that are going, there is a manual labour strike in france at this present time, which had led to many rides opening later if at all, as the ride technicians are not there. One most effected is crush coaster. It only really seems to have effected studios rather that disneyland park.

I'm afraid it is unknown at the moment. The DLRP website hasn't updated their

Ahh, so only
it's a small world is closed on my visit. That's a bit of a shame, but it's better than something like BTM being closed, or more importantly, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. :P
Good to see that the Studios has no scheduled closures for the rest of the year.
I'm so glad Pirates isn't shut this year when I am there like it was last year. It's a small world is close though.
I've just found all the scheduled closures up until September 2009 on Disney Central Plaza, posted by La Rouquine. :D

This is terrible news. How reliable are these infos?
I think La Roquine is quite a trusted member on DCP, so I guess it is true. I'm really sorry if it is closed - I'd hate to go to DLRP and not ride Pirates. :(

I hope this source is wrong.....:p,I will confirm these dates if they appear on the official DLRP website.
Cya and 10x 4 the info
Wow, they know the Closures for so many month? Great :)! I'm really happy that there won't be any closures except La Tanière du Dragon when we're there :D/
Just another question: Those are only refurbishment dates, aren't they? I ask myself if it's still like that: I read some time ago that the attractions Storybookland, Casey Jr. and Autopia were seasonally closed during winter season. Is that true or could I expect to ride them in December (30th Nov. - 2nd Dec.)??

Usually, Casey Jr and Les payes des contes feyes shut late october/early november to set up the Christmas Village, they then close again once the Christmas season is over in mid-January.
Based on previous years you should be fine.
I cannot believe IASW is being refurbished on the day when I go to DLRP, Small World was one of the magical rides I went on back in 2001.
Willow, thank you very much for the info :)
I really hope that it will not be true about POTC that is the whole familys favourite ride [-o<
I found this on disneyland paris.co.uk of the ride closures for October - December 2008
Casey Jr. - le Petit Train du Cirque

Le Pays des Contes de Fées
Closed from 6th October to 17th October.
Orbitron®
Closed from 1st October to 2nd October.
Pocahontas Indian Village
Closed from 1st October to 3rd October.
Big Thunder Mountain
Closed from 3rd November to 14th November.
'it's a small world'
Closed from 17th November to 28th November.
Honey, I Shrunk the Audience
Closed from 15th December to 19th December.
La Tanière du Dragon
Closed from 1st December to 12th December.
Space Mountain: Mission 2
Closed from 8th December to 9th December.
oh thank goodness non of big rides are closed when im there in October!
thats such a relief that nothing major is happening in December
apart from Honey I Shrunk The Audience won't be showing when I get there...but i think i manage this one year without it!!!
Are these three the only ones that are actually closed during December or will more be added?
You know where it says 'Tower of Terror - Alpha Shaft', does that mean the entire TOT ride is shut or just part of it? I'll be going from the 23rd of November to the 26th and Tower of Terror was the ride I wanted to go on so i'll be really disappointed if it's closed.

It's just the Alpha Shaft - the one on the left. The other two shafts will be open.

Thanks, that's a relief :D . I've never been since they've built TOT so I wasn't exactly sure what Alpha shaft actually meant.
That shows the clever design of the Mark II Tower actually, they can refurb one shaft without having too much impact on the ride. At MGM it'd shut down half the attraction.
The dates from La Rouquine posted above are as accurate as you can get. He takes them from the internal DLRP schedule, hence all those part-closures that DLRP wouldn't publish for the public (eg. where it might also say "Mark Twain", that doesn't mean the Molly Brown won't be running instead).
It is bloody stupid that DLRP have only posted up until December on their website when they KNOW the future dates. They should post all the dates they're taking bookings for, it's not fair on people.
yeah I completely agree with you there Anthony!!
We all have specific rides that we all love and therefore if a longer schedule was made avaliable, people could plan around closures and refurbs! Having the system as it is today results in disappointment and anger!

same day as me tow, ive decided to buy a ticket for the day before which i was going to visit paris but hey there you go, iasw and fatillousion win hands down.
Pirates of the Caribbean was closed last time i went to disneyland paris
but aslong as the info is correct it will be open when im there next :D so thats good news!!
wen are the refurbishments happening that will be done due to the change from 15th anniversary to the next event?
I would imagine most of the changes will take place in the last 3 weeks of March/first week of April.

well although its one of my favourite rides, it actualy broke when i was on it a few years ago. so a refurb could do the ride some good
anyone found a list for the rest of the year, the one rnrc found was great to have the dates so far in advance
They came from the topic on DCP here (//http://disneycentralplaza.englishboard.net/disneyland-paris-f6/calendrier-des-saisons-spectacles-et-rehabilitations-au-08-04-t661.htm).
Probably won't be another major update until August/September though, looking at past years.
When are the closures likely to be known for October 09 and where should I look?
Thanks :D
I'm planning a trip either november 14/15th or 21/22nd.
Our favorite attractions are Buzz lightyear and Space Mountain.
Does anyone know if there is scheduled maintenance in this periode on those attractions?
Anyone know which weekend is best?

It's impossible to say for sure, but I'd guess both Space Mountain and Buzz will be open during those times. Space Mountain tends to have it's refurbs in December, and Buzz has already had a refurb this year, it probably won't need another. Out of the two dates I'd chose the later one since Big Thunder Mountain tends to have refurbs in late October/early November.
It could all change though. If I were you, I'd wait until around September time when the next set of refurb dates should be anounced.

Arrgg, I need that train when me knee is painful and i am unable to walk on it!!! Just have to try and take it easy as there is no way I will survive on my legs. Don't want to have to take crutches or rent a wheelchair!

FYI: The dates of rehabs and closures (//http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/rehabs-and-closures.xhtml?) have been updated on disneylandparis.com.
I am looking forward the most to the 12 day rehab for the dragon in December:
La Tanière du Dragon
Closed in December 2009 from 7th December to 18th December
Considering the dreadful state he was in during our last visit (in June) I hope they give him the great overhaul he deserves and desperately needs. Also, wouldn't it be great to have that fog on the water again?
We saw a few weeks ago that the railroad was due to be closed for our visit tomrrow til wednesday.
However, the only closure now showing is snow white! :D
Does anyone know when the closed attractions for January/February (2010) will be announced?

Me too !, i hope no attractions are closed from 3-6 Jan 2010 !
Am taking my other half in January 18-20...His first visit ever... I am getting worried that one of my favorite attractions may be closed and I want him to experience a full ride line up.
I too am wondering when the list will be updated beyond December.
As mentioned above, I am worried too, especially about Pirates. Therefore I am checking at least once a day both the official site and Disney Central Plaza, every single day, most of the times even two or three times a day. As soon as an update is available I will post it here. So just subscribe to this thread and you will know immediately know about it, once the new dates become available :D

Looks like the 'main' attraction to be closed in Jaunuary is Peter Pan's Flight and the usual Casey Jones Jr.
Annoyingly, they've only updated upto the 17th and I go on the 18th! Fingers crossed that for me and my first time friend, there are no other attractions closed!

WOOHOOO ! :D/
No rides shut when im visiting :)
Thanks Nicolai
Yes, I'm also very happy about this. Pirates are not closed (they were closed during our stay last winter) and Peter Pan is not closed (was closed during our stay last summer). In fact nothing is closed aside from Storybook land, which is nice but I can live with it being closed (was only open Friday+weekends anyway). :D

Oh my bad, same here. Going 4th and 5th, so storybook land will be closed, ahh no worries :)
Oh sooo happy - hope this list stays as is until after my trip -cant wait! :D/
yes, yes, yes. Me Ben and my dad head off on Friday and it looks like everything will be open. Weather forcast says it will be drying up as well! Looks like luck is on my side. [-o< [-o<

I'm not too bothered about the teacup ride but I will miss riding the Tram Tour...

I am going on 22nd as well and i am gutted about the tram tour not bothered about others but i was really looking forward to the tram tour.
Also going in March, gutted about Snow White, Casey Jnr, Pirates, Tram Tour, Cinemagique - so many we missed last time and had hoped to get this time (and DD's fave is Casey Jnr!) - what a shame, particularly as March has their St David's and St Patrick's parades/fireworks etc
I'm looking to book between the 6th & 10th June. Have any closures been announces for these dates yet?
Quote from: "luke85"I'm looking to book between the 6th & 10th June. Have any closures been announces for these dates yet?
No, they usualy announce them 1-2 months in advance.
This is also one of the reasons why I mostly only visit during high season (summer, halloween or christmas), because then you have the most chance that all the rides are open. Going during low season is cheaper yes, but the entertainment is less and lots of stuff gets a gefurb.
Some changes and new dates at the official site (//http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/rehabs-and-closures.xhtml)! Among the changes, Snow White will be open during Feb-Mar and Cinemagique will only close March 15th to 17th.
No news regarding the castle bridge, though... :(
Just checked with DLP and they said that MMP will now be on until 30th March - let's hope!!
Big Thunder Mountain will be closed from April 26th till May 7th. I was planning to go that week, but I will change my plans to the weekend, so I can enjoy BTM for 2 days of my stay. No BTM (and no Pirates for that matter) is a totally no-go for me. Luckily I'm flexible with my work, so I can adapt to the refub schedule.
I read that Snow White and Cinemagique will be open during our stay on the 12th of march, nice! That MMP will last a little longer doesn't please me, but it will be nice for my nieces with Minnie's Party Express and Mickey's Magical Party Time.

So is it already confirmed? MMP will last until March 30th? I've read everywhere that it would last until the 7th, and I couldn't find anything else on the web...
I would love this confirmed also as im takeing my daughter on 21st of march and would love it to still be on !!
I have just stumbled upon some interesting info ! http://www.dlrptoday.com/2009/08/11/its ... gust-2010/ (http://www.dlrptoday.com/2009/08/11/its-party-time-until-august-2010/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;) i guess only time will tell if its to stay open till August !!!!!
Have you heard about the New Generation Festival (//http://www.photosmagiques.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7601)? That replaces MMP from 2nd April 2010.
Maybe It's Party Time on Central Plaza could stay on up to 30th March, rather than there being three weeks of no shows on Central Plaza, that does seems possible... but from 2nd April it becomes Disney Showtime Spectacular.
Yea i have read about it......but seen as that week here is school half term holidays i decided to book for 21st of march......will be booking again as soon as we get back LOL !
I called DLP today to check some things about my reservation and the CM confirmed that MMP will last until the New Generation Festival begins, so we'll have it until April 1st! :)
im really glad about that as im taking my mum for her 60th and she really wants to see minnies party train - seeing as she is a minnie fan
woohoooo thats made my day !!!!! My little girl is going to get such a birthday suprise !!!!! She does not know she is going to Disney :D ! 21st March Disney here we come !!!!! :D:D:D:D:D !
I see that Playhouse Disney Live On Stage is closed according to the current timetable.
Does anyone know if it will be open next week? We arrive on Sunday and depart Wednesday. We were hoping to see Playhouse on Thes or Weds.
Our kids have seen the show 4 times and love it!

Updated.
Great work from DLP announcing this in advance.
does anyone know when the castle bridge will be open?
going on Monday and disappointed that i wont see the castle properly....
Well judging the photo's that were taken from the bridge, at this point I would say at least 3 weeks but since there is no official word it could be shorter or could be longer.
yea, ah well....
seen the castle before lol! :)
When did they change that??? because it was open every day yesterday LOL !

Oh wow, so pleased about Snow White, she's DD's favourite!!! Still a shame about Pirates, Tram Tour and Casey, though!!!!
The latest Disneyland Web Offer states "last chance to see Mickey's Magic Party" with dates arriving as late as April 1st.
Looks like MMP is going all the way up to the start of NGF.
I just hope they get the Castle Bridge fixed by the time I get there on March 22nd [-o<

BAD NEWS MARCH HARES!!
Mickey's Magic Party is officially over!
//http://news.disneylandparis.co.uk/UK/EN/Neutral/Images/ShowsAndParades.pdf
The Shows and Parade programme has just been upated for 8th March - 19th March and MMP is no-where to be found.
* No Its Party Time
* No Minnie's Party Train
The main attractions in the Disneyland Park are apparently:
* African Tan Tams
and
* Once Upon A Dream Parade
At least the tacky decorations will have been taken down
Too bad, it would have been really nice for my nieces to have the Party Train and MMP Time.
Pfieuw, had a scare when I saw Stitch Live being closed, but that's just one day.
I don't see PotC anywhere, isn't it closed? That would be nice...
Meh that really sucks !!!! My daughter would have loved to see MMP !!
Quote from: "Annet"I don't see PotC anywhere, isn't it closed? That would be nice...
I wonder about this too; this closure should be on the program, don't you think?! *hopehopehope* [-o< [-o< [-o<
Pirates is closed. A forummember from a Dutch DLRP forum confirmed that it is in fact fenced off and in rehab since yesterday.
Ah too bad, it was nice to do some wishful thinking :P
Fortunately I'm visiting again in the summer, I'll just ride it a couple of times extra then!
Pirates is supposed to be open again on the 19th March ! It needs to be LOL !
I have just seen the program for the studios and it says that studio tram tours will open on the 19th march not the 31st woohoo thats made my day !!
Quote from: "cinders"I have just seen the program for the studios and it says that studio tram tours will open on the 19th march not the 31st woohoo thats made my day !!
Unfortunately, that's not the case. It says closed until the 19th, because the current program is only valid till the 19th. Studio Tram Tour will remain closed till june.
Am a bit confused, looking at this week's planner, it doesn't show that PoTC is closed.....assume it still is, though!!!

Thank god pirates will be open!! 5 sleeps to go !!!! :D !
has anybody heard of the refurbs for this june? :D
Yes...i would like to know too, plus the opening hours for June, when shall we know? I am going on May 30th till June 5
Seems like quite a few people want to know after reading through the topic.
Seems suprising to me that they haven't released them yet?
I don't suppose anybody has heard any rumours of refurbs in June?
June's attraction closures and refurbishments have been announced;
http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/reha ... ?#contentj (http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/rehabs-and-closures.xhtml?#contentj%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)
So Dumbo is closed from 10th May until first week of July! That's a lot of work.
Casey Jr and Le Pays des Contes de Fées as always closed. I think I've only been twice when these have been open.
As much as I'm sad Dumbo will be closed when I go in June, I am SO pleased it's finally going to get a lengthy refurb! Here's hoping that hideously faded awning (that makes me so sad) will be replaced/cleaned!
im relatively happy for our June trip - Dumbo and Indiana closed and Crush for 1 day. im looking forward to see if the STT Canyon is looking better
Cinemagique will be closed when I go in June :( Bit sad about that, I really like it...
Still, it will be good to see how the Tram Tour is looking after months and months closed...
That's a lot of refurbs! I'm not going untill august, so that's fine with me :P
WOW!
I am arriving on May 30th, Sun and leaving on June 5th Sat. Space Mountain is closed from May 31 to june 4. So i only have my first and last days to ride it!!! That's probably good news for me. I guess that many will not go to DLP during this week because of the closure of Space Mountain...so less people-more fun for me! (don;t take it wrong, everybody would like a day alone at DLP!!!)
The only thing i am sad for is that 3 kids' attractions will be closed for my holidays (Le Pays des Contes de Fees, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Casey Jr. Le Petit Train du Cirque) and we are going with 3 kids :(
Anyway, i am so excited that the days are coming, i have booked since November!
anyone seen any updates - im dying to see septembers refurb list
Same here, any news on october refurb lists please? [-o<
Please shoot me down if I am asking a really silly question ... but are tehre no refurbs going on in July/August? I know its a busy time of year, but if work needs to be done I would've thought it would continue whatever. Sorry if its a bit dumb
The official website has refurbs for both parks; none for July/August and October's haven't been released yet
Refurbs (//http://parks.disneylandparis.co.uk/rehabs-and-closures.xhtml?)
Thank-you! I had been checking this - it just seems really slow updating. Oh well, whatever needs to be done, needs to be done :)
The new show timetable has been released and it says that Alice's Curious Labyrinth is closed.

hi i'd read the castle was going to be refurbed over halloween and xmas on here. I emailed the park and they replied with
QuoteThank you for your email.
I kindly inform you that for the moment, we are only aware of refurbishments up to September and therefore have no information concerning Christmas. However it does seem unlikely the Castle will be in refurbishment at such a time, especially as the bridge has been recently refurbished. As we receive refurbishment lists around 3 months before, please recontact us in 3 months to check on this matter.
Kindest regards,
I shared this on another board but thought id put it on here for anyone else who'd read it was being refurbed
so happy, this email is good enough for me =D>
that is such a relief as i have replied to another thread on here and they said that it was going to be closed from halloween to after xmas which wouldnt make sense as they are the peak times for visitors ....well thats great news thanks for that

I think the two Disney Parks open 365 days a year, essential maintenance and upkeep has to happen during scheduled attraction closures throughout the season, published a few months in advance. :D :D

thats right, with the park not having any days of closure through the year they have to either do small bits of maintenance over night or close attractions down to carry out what needs to be done =] and to help with bookings etc. they publish their closures early so people have at least some idea of what will be closed while they are there =] of course some rides can also be closed un announced due to faults....
makes me wonder just how big their risk assessment forms are on a day to day basis... lols XD

Most likely will be up late november/early december :)
We are off to DLRP at the begining of Decemeber Im sure by now if there was any refurb/closure dates would be up.......has anyone any inside infor for any closiure/refurbs for the 8th 9th 10th 11th of Decemeber? :D
I am not sure but I think that during Christmas season they will stop all refurbs and closures to have as many attractions open as they can. Christmas is traditionally one of the most busy times of the year for DLRP
I dont find christmas busy at all......been a few times and never had to wait long for rides or anything! But thanks anyways it looks like a lot of refurbs on rides have been done anyways from what i have seen. Im just glad the studio tram tours will be open as it wasnt when we went in March!

Been there with christmas my self quite a few times and on the official christmas days and between those and newyears my experience is it is always busy those days (140 minute que for Peterpan, extended que for Alice and Tea cups, (70 min wait for Indiana Jones) Early Januari how ever it is way more quite.
I heard that they are planning to start refurb of the castle halfway Januari.
I just phoned Disney to check that there were no attractions closed during our stay (there are none listed as closed online)
The CM told me that Pinocchio, Snow White, Autopia and Casey Junior (no surprises on that last one) are all closed from 8th-10th november.
So obviously Disney do not always publish closures online, if you are concerned about closures during your stay it might be wise to phone and check since it seems that they do have the information.

Wow I knew that Casey Jr and Autopia are 'seasonal opperating' attractions. But what about Pinocchio and Snow White?

Are things like Autopia, Casey Jr, Le Pays de Contes de Fees etc closed between 6 - 9 February as well as the list above? They never seem to be open in the winter.
Thank you in advance

Those attractions are vulnerable to frost and things to do with Winter, so they are usually closed yes. I suppose if there were more maintenance workers available they could open themm... but it's probably H&S

That is a very good question.
It is very odd that they have that Casey Jr/etc closed in Jan until the 21st, because no doubt they wont open after then. This happened last year, which did annoy me.
Its not so bad when nothing is mentioned about them being closed, because its winter so I expect it, but when they actually give a specific date saying its CLOSED UNTIL XXXX, so you then get ready for it to reopen after then, yet it remains closed. Its stupid really and is surely them shooting themselves in the foot?
Oh, and Festival Disney, you forgot to add Animagique to that list, its close in Jan until 21st (Like some other things....grrr)
i hope autopia is open i have only ever gotten to go on it once... would like another go =]
Autopia was closed for the duration when I was there this week Mon-Weds
Well heres to hopeing.... Im not going until the first week in feb so i might be lucky =]
Just called the Central Reservations Office about infos for a (possible) stay from 30.3.-2.4. and I got these closure info for March 2011:
- Pirates of the Caribbean 7.-31.3.2011
- Crush's Coaster 30.+31.3.2011
- River Rogue Keelboats 30.+31.3.2011
For Crush and the Keelboats she did not tell me when the refurb actually starts, only that they will be closed during these two days of our stay, so they could be closed earlier in March already! For April they don't have any info yet, so she could not tell me when these attractions will be open again.
was there on 14-16 jan..
autopia was open..which was really great for the kids.
does anyone know if anything is closed 21- 25 Feb?:)

The Dragon under the castle will be under refurbishment at that time, don't hold out too much hope for Storybookland/Casey Junior circus train to be open :P
thankss:)
oh and i know, been around this time for the last 10 years, and ridden them once.. :P

Oh damn, POTC will be closed when I'm there!!! I missed that last time, and was looking forward to it this time. :(
Wouldn't have been able to ride Crush anyway, as I'm with my 2 year old, and not too fussed about queuing forever, but I'm gutted now.
Cant believe pirates will be closed on my first visit really wanted to ride it - is there any chance it will get a delay on being closed???
Here's a full updated list ;)

I've posted elsewhere as well, but does anyone know about Playouse Disney Live? The latest show and parade schedule says Closed from 31/01. Others say closed until dd/mm so am thinking this might of gone completely? We missed it by a few weeks opening last time and now possibly missed it by just a week closing!!
Oh no!
That's really annoying, on the main Disney calendar which shows what attractions are closed, it doesn't mention that. I can see, though, when you click in to the parades and shows, it says closed from 30 Jan. I'd counted on this attraction, as so many others that we wanted to do are shut.
:-(
Oh well, hopefully it will be open one day we are there!
Rachel
the new schedule is up and Playhouse Disney is closed till 10th Feb :-(
and Casey Junior and the Le Pays des Contes de fees. was hoping they'd be open and they weren't on the closure list before.
though it doesn't say Slinky ride is closed but that was on the calendar before.
hmm, maybe I should read all of this through before posting anymore!
Right, there are some difference between what is stated on the Calender and what they have on the park schedules :?
This will hopefully be the last update before the April dates are released

I wish for once they'd announce these dates in good time and stick to them. The schedule has almost completely changed again, with for example Slinky moved to February and Crush's Coaster suddenly appearing at the end of March.
Dates for April have completely disappeared...
Edit: Just for the record, they briefly said:
QuotePirates of the Caribbean
1st only
Les Mystères du Nautilus
4th to 8th
Les Voyages de Pinocchio
4th to 30th
I agree! I keep on checking the site but almost every time there's something else.... That way, it doesn't make sense at all to publish things beforehand....
I am no longr seeing Crush's Coaster on the refurbishment calendar in March. It would be nice if La Taniére du Dragon opened a day early (or is it continuing into April?).
We are at the parks the 25th and 28th-31st of March.
not sure if anyone has seen this but!
Pirates of the Caribbean: Closed 7 March-4 April 2011
wonder what they are going to do with such a long closure?

Pirates is closed until the
1st of April, not the 4th (I hope!?). We are staying from the 30.3. to the 2.4. and Pirates being closed 3 of our 4 days was a HUGE disappointment, but at least I could look forward to riding a fully refurbished Pirates on our very last day. So I hope it was just a mistake on your part? You don't have any other source saying Pirates will be closed until the 4th, do you? [-o<
Pirates is only closed till April 1st. That's the information that you can find on the calender of the Disneyland website ;)

When will they release the November closures? Got a horrible feeling PotC may be closed when I go if the rumour is true about the Jack Sparrow AAs for the 20th anniversary
Any one going within the next week be aware that there are more closures than what is listed- Indiana Jones is still fenced up, with nothing but a poor hot cast member in a pirate hat to tell everyone that it's still closed, one person at a time.
SM:M2 and BTM were shutting all over the place while we were there, seeming to get techinical difficulties every time we got a fast pass for them. TOT was shut for a little while yesterday aswell, and loads of other rides had tech issues too.
Interestingly though, the last few days we saw Casey Jnr, the storybook boats and even pizza planet open for the first time i've seen in years.

Thanks for the update! Fingers crossed either or both will be finished and nothing else will disappear undercover...it really is one of my favourite parts of the park, you know when you walk in on a fresh morning and there's a jaunty tune playing, everything looks so pretty and traditional and just you feel like skipping all the way down the street :-"

This is true! We went last September and according to the leaflet we picked up in Disneyland Park with times of parades, etc - Pinnochio was meant to be being refurbished; so we were really surprised when the ride was open! :?

I seriously doubt nothing will be closed. Casy and Le Fet con du Pay thingy boat ride or whatever it's called, have a 90% of being down for their annual refurb. But the amount of times they changed September I would hold off checking the calendar again until the day before you leave

I was going to say Casey and the story boats are usually closed during the week, hoping they may be open on the weekend though.
I bet Snow White is closed again, would be my luck lol.
October and November closures list is here: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closu ... bishments/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;)" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Those dates are exactly as listed by the official travel partners website (last updated 30th August) with two closures I missed off for now because, to be honest, I don't believe them! Disneyland Railroad until 30th November (the whole railroad, for three months?! I must have missed that news) and CinéMagique closed 5th to 30th September, which but it seems like a long closure and of course isn't listed on the existing September list on the official site. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow for that one.
I'm also surprised at Flying Carpets closed 1st October to 30th November, unless they're doing a major Orbitron-style take-it-apart-and-put-it-back-together refurb...
Anyway, hope that's helpful!
three months without the railroad would be insane, flying carpets is one of the most popular attractions at wds for kids, and closing it for halloween seems a bit odd, and the fact that its gone for 2 full months could mean that it'll be closed into december as well.
very interesting...

Wow,wow, wow, timeout. Cinemagique closed ??!!? I hope this is bad information. Is your source reliable? 8)
that list does seem a bit unlikely doesn't it? Looking at the official UK site there are no details for Oct on there. And the list has Alice and Carousel both closed throughout Oct which along with Casey and StoryBook boats would make a large dent in Fantasylands capacity during Halloween.
cinemagique from now till 30.09. is official according to the new programme... damn ;_;

Wow, that's pretty useless DLP couldn't include the CinéMagique closure in the public list.
And now we know that closures for October and November are being published for travel companies/partners, I have to ask why they're not being published on the official website.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

No :( I love that show! :(
So no Peter Pan on 17th and 18th November?????? One word......GUTTED!!
looks like a lot of disappointed people this winter, on one side, they really are making an effort, but...
also, have you noticed that robinson family treehouse is now listed as closed, but nothing else
I hate myself for posting 'too good to be true that so little is closed' the other day... got punished right away.
Cinemagique
Absolutely gutted that my 2 favourites are gonna be closed when im there. . . Whats Disneyland without Indiana and Phantom Manor???? Indiana is always my " go-to" ride during the day , , like I cant walk between Frontier Land and Fantasyland without " a quick loop on Indy!" Although I remember one year Big Thunder was closed , we didnt know what to do with ourselves every evening! And I was planning on doing Cinemagique for the first time this visit too . . :( Oh well ,still ridiculously excited!
I'm a bit confused over here. The Closures say that Le Carrousel de Lancelot will be closed from the 3rd to 28th of October but the Disney website says it will be open for mnsshp does that mean it will only be open for the nights or just that they haven't updated their system?!
I think they've closed Indy early as it wasnt open yesterday.
Is the railroad really closed for 3 months?
I have just checked Disney's website and here is their list.
La Cabane des Robinson
Closed all the month.
Indiana Jones™ et le Temple du Péril
Closed from 1st October to 14th October.
Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque
Closed from 3rd October to 21st October.
Le Pays des Contes de Fées
Closed from 3rd October to 21st October.
Rock'n' Roller Coaster
Closed from 3rd October to 7th October.
Armageddon: les Effets Spéciaux
Closed from 17th October to 21st October.
No mention of the carousel, railroad or carpets being closed. Hope it stays this way.
Ooooh I really hope it stays that way too I love the carpets I know it is a simple ride but I love it!!
Just seen the December closures, and it almost looks as if some are closed for the purpose of saving money.
Autopia is closed often, that's got to save a lot of money.
Could this mean that they are saving for the 20th celebrations?
I don't understand why It's a Small World is shut in November at the beginning of the Christmas Season when it's so well known for it's Christmas overlay?? I am very upset, this is our first Christmas and I was really looking forward it
I totally agree Mrs Pirate, I couldn't believe it when I saw it, can't help feeling our trip now is just not going to be the same without IASW and th Christmas costumes, I would have thought it would have been closed before 7th November in order to get it ready for the Christmas season, can't help feeling that with some ride closures there are other motives!!!!!!
its definitely doesn't look like refurbishment closures
Well I'm definitely not happy about the December closures looks like Casey junior is closed for wed thus Fri of my trip it better be open on the Tuesday sad about the art of animation sad about all of them actually but I suppose it could be a lot worse but it can still get worse will wait and see
Gutted about Art of Animation in November :(
I'm absolutely furious. I'm going in several weeks and had I known how many things would actually be shut, I most likely wouldn't have booked to go at all. This is supposed to be a Disney park and although I understand it needs to be maintained, a great many attractions are shut for a substantial period of time. I don't feel this is good enough.
its getting worse for my trip in december now Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains is closed the week i go rather than the previous week grrrr hope they change it back it just seems like their closing stuff for no reason and they've closed space mountain the week before i go instead they should be swapped!
Oh dear, this looks bad for people visiting.
If it makes you feel better, it means a better 20th.
Maybe...possibly...hopefully...GULP
well id like to hope so but its hard to be positive with all the changes that are taking place
I'm really, really hoping that the list is right and that Casey Junior will be open on 25th November. Our four year old is desperate to go on it but it's been closed on both our visits!
They just keep on changing the dates everytime! It sucks that a lot of non-thrillrides (like Autopia, Casey Jr. and Le Pays des Contes de Fées) are closed during our visit, since my mom isn't able to ride any thrill rides.
I'm getting quite annoyed with the closures during our visit, IASW is closed, Casey Jr and Le Pays des Contes de Fees, Autopia, Flying Carpets and Art of Disney are only open on our first day. Hopefully BTM will re-open for our last 2 days.
Can anyone tell me why casey jr and le pays de contes de fees are closed most of november? we're going 14th to 20th and were excited when closures were published in october saying that both rides would be open. have been feb 2010 and oct 2010 and both times were closed. will rides be open at all while we're there?

Hi dower 1973 here the list of closures in November Casey Jr. - Le Petit Train du Cirque
2nd to 3rd, 8th to 10th, 14th to 24th, 29th to 30th. But I don't know if is open the last day you be there.
Hope This Help!
Cheers It's A Small World
Nooo!! Space Mountain will be shut from the 5th-9th December - EXACTLY when I'm there!! Gutted! :(
I can always hope that like last year it makes a surprise opening on the last night!
I'm now VERY confused - I'll be in the parks next Thursday and Friday (17th and 18th), and I've just looked at the park schedule for that week on the Disneyland Paris website - Peter Pan is now apparently open BUT it says IASW is shut until the 18th :( I know the dates are usually inclusive so that means it'd be shut on the 18th but the fact it says until the 18th makes me think it might reopen that day?? [-o< *clutching at straws a bit now*
does anyone no if •Animagique be closed from 23rd jan to 26th jan on closure dates on this site says it is but on official disney site it doesnt would love take my daughter to this whislt there any help?
Hi
It's quite possible that Animagique was originally planned to be closed on those dates (in which case it was published to agents, websites, etc.) but they changed their schedule.
Unless I'm mistaken (which is certainly possible LOL) the DLP website should be the correct one, so enjoy the show!
Sean
Hi everybody. New to the forum here and soon to be first time visitor to the parks. Does anyone have any idea what attractions in general are usually closed early in the summer? We are thinking about going to the parks either the first or 2nd week of June.
try this great site, no details for June yet but you'll find almost anything you need to know for planning a trip to DLP there, closures in June will be up some months in advance but don't know when.
//http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/
have fun
Drat and darn, Pirates of the Carribean is closed in March. It was closed at the same time last year so we couldn't go on it then either!!!
First dates for April and May 2012 now published. Almost an empty schedule!
April 2012River Rogue Keelboats
1st to 30th *
May 2012River Rogue Keelboats
1st to 31st *
Les Voyages de Pinocchio
22nd to 25th

What a shame the River Rogue Keelboats remain closed through the start of the 20th...
I don't understand why they still advertise them as an attraction. When was the last time they were in operation?
I got on one about two years ago for the first time. They seem to be in operation on busy days in the summer.
Oooooh I hope they don't change this we are going in May and for the first time EVER nothing is really closed except the river boats and in all my years of going I have only seen them open once so they do not disappoint me too much.
Yay! Hardly any closures in April.
Although i expected that already after all the hard work Disney did these months. =D>
Cant wait to see how beautiful everything is again! :D
What are the chances they will be doing any major refurbishments in early June? I would not want to see Phatom Manor, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain or La Taniere du Dragon closed then :(
Quote from: "greenkai3000"What are the chances they will be doing any major refurbishments in early June? I would not want to see Phatom Manor, Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Thunder Mountain or La Taniere du Dragon closed then :(
Pretty low, I hope! I'm going then too, and (touch wood/fingers crossed) they shouldn't have much going on in the way of major refurbs I'd have thought, because of it being the 20th anniversary. I always like to check http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closu ... bishments/ (http://www.dlrpmagic.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/%22%20onclick=%22window.open(this.href);return%20false;) to see how things are going, but I don't thinkk the June closures will be announced until April time.
Well I just found out Space Mountail will be down for repairs when I'm there. SOOO bummed here! I really wanted to ride the French version of one of my favorite rides at Disney World. At least PM, and POTC will be open.
I've read Les Pays des Contes Des Fees and Casey Jr. could possibly be closed on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays! Why is that?? Does that concern high season( summer) too???
Quote from: "esmeralda"I've read Les Pays des Contes Des Fees and Casey Jr. could possibly be closed on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays! Why is that?? Does that concern high season( summer) too???
They were open every day at the end of June :D
@ MrsPirate: Thanks for your reply!!! I'm relieved now ;-) I know this is off topic, but may i ask you if counter restaurants like Bella Notte ,Colonel Hathi's, Toad Hall etc were open late, till 8 or 9 pm? Did you notice? Thanks a lot in advance!

Some weeks they seem to take a notion and keep them closed. Come September you can almost guarantee they'll be closed during the week

The ones we did notice were closed were Hakana Matata, one evening it had a long table set up with glasses and champagne with waiters and Last Chance Cafe. Au Chalet de la Marionnette was packed. I didn't notice the others, sorry.
@Mrs Pirate: Thanks for your help! I hope, there will be some more opened!
While its not mentioned on the main website, the Disneyland Paris app I have for android says that Armageddon is closed 28th - 30th August

There should be a law stopping them from closing TWO of my favourite rides at the same time. So annoying :-x We've had to change our dates, so not only I will not get to see my dear sis toonarmylass, but I'm missing out on some of the best rides :(

I'm gutted too! I didn't get to do Peter Pan's Flight over Easter weekend in April because of the queues but we managed to do Phantom Manor so many times and I love it! I'm back again 16th September-19th September so hopefully I will be able to manage these two in the evening of the 16th before they close!
I really love Autopia, so it means I'm gonna have to queue up during the weekend. That should waste some time ;-(
i am probably the saddest littel Aussie ever right now!!!!!!!
oh my :( i really thought i had picked a good time to visit DLRP! Clearly not! im so devistated i almost cried when i read Septembers rehabs and closures. Phantom manor and Peter pan plus armageddon, studio tour tram, autopia and Casey Jr!!! could my luck be much worse (oh and im still confused on the keel boats, still hoping to bring them back).
For me this is not a holiday i can go on every year and also try to tee it up with the european schools going back.. i last went in december 09 (early dec) and everything was open not a rehab in sight even through the drizzling rain! i kinda thought phantom manor would be getting done up for haloween but Peter Pan too! really!!! :( :(
Casey Jr. – Le Petit Train du Cirque
1st to 24th: Closed Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays
Does anyone know if this means it will be closed everday 1st till 24th and thereafter closed wed-friday? or does it mean that it will be closed wed till friday between 1st and 24th? Hopefully second option otherwise we will not get to ride it :(
small world closed 24th of October to 26th? Why if it's supposed to be closed again in November for it's holiday revamp?

Oh no, it looks like POTC is closed for three weeks in January!
Is that even possible?

Is there any chance that this information will change? :(
saying that Pirates of the Caribbean is closed all of February as well :-( and small world 1st - 15th. Luckily we get there the 17th so should have IASW but daughter will miss POTC.
I read on a French forum that POTC will be closed untill March 15th!
Have not found other closures for March yet, but can anyone confirm this?
Oh man, just booked a daytrip to DLRP and I was looking forward to POTC the most. :( This better means that Captain Jack will come to Paris (I know not everyone will agree with me on this ;) ).
QuoteI read on a French forum that POTC will be closed untill March 15th!
POTR closed even in March too ? :(
I hope that it will be open at the end of March because we will be going from 25 until 31 and my daughters love POTR.
[-o<
POTC closed in March? I thouht it was just Feb. Hopefully this is wrong as Iam hoping to be going in March and love that ride! Went on it 12 times in 5 days the first time we went to DLP about 10 years ago!
Still cant find a link to the March closures yet, hopefully this is just a rumour!
According to the tweets from InsideDLParis this morning:
Casey and Le Pays - closed until 15th Feb
Autopia - closed until 15th Feb
PotC - closed until mid March for major tech refurb (Blue Lagoon also closed)
Buzz Lightyeat - closed until 25th Jan
Animagique - closed until 18th Jan
Studio Tram Tour - closed until late March
Oh i really hope this is wrong about POTC - my son is a huge fan and will be gutted. We'll be there from March 1st till 4th. Fingers crossed.
Quote from: "kathchad"Oh i really hope this is wrong about POTC - my son is a huge fan and will be gutted. We'll be there from March 1st till 4th. Fingers crossed.
Apparently it's due to be closed until March 15th. Which is highly annoying because I'm there with a school trip from the 5th - 7th and a nice (warming) trip through PotC will be missed! Can but hope they manage to finish it early!
Is there a list of May schudled closures yet? thanks
Quote from: "julesk"Is there a list of May schudled closures yet? thanks
no may closures wont be announced until around about march time, closures are usually announced around 2 months in advance
i hope the dates are right, at this rate i will only miss out on dumbo, the flying carpets and captain eo, but they open again before i leave so its not too bad.... (i'm there from the 27th of march)
Read a tweet earlier that would insinuate that the studio team tour would be open again by 3rd March. Unfortunately for fans of POTC it seems it will be a long closure up to the already stated completion date. Gutted!
Hi guys,
I am guessing that every year they need to do a little maintenance on each ride. I am looking to visit again in December and was wondering do the same rides get refurbished about the same time every year?
Thanks :)
Quote from: "lscooper23"Hi guys,

it really depends on just how big the last batch of maintenance was, some rides close down at around the same time every year without fail (take for example its a small world, it closes down around the same time every year so they can put on/take off the christmas overlay) for others its just as and when the ride needs it
Just found out "Blanche Neige.." will be closed while I'm there :( It's my fave ride in the parks- so that makes me a little sad. Still excited about going- but need to find a new "First ride of the trip" ride then.
Do the park opening hours for May get revealed at the same time as the refurb list?
so sad, BTM closed in may when we are going. I know I really should not complain because most things are open, but this is our absolute favourite ride :(
Anyone have any idea when the June closures will be published?
Just seen the closures for June, thing is, we have a son who HAS! to go on big thunder mountain, it is his favourite and the only reason we are going, it says it will be closed until the 14th of June, we are going to arrive on the 17th, does this mean there is a chance they could over run on the refurbishments? Or are they usually spot on?
Thanks for any replies!
Hi aircanman - I noticed the june closures a few days ago - we are there through the time of Big Thunders closure :-/
But I'm guessing the it will be up and running for your trip on the 17th again - lucky thing! :D

Gutted! - I really don't know how they can close it in June, it was so busy last year when we went that time!! - Anyways, it does look like they will open it by the time I get there, but I would love to know if those dates are set in stone, because our boy would be so upset if it was closed, its his favorite ride and he can't ride much else.

Hi! Regarding closed rides this august there will be the on of Peter Pan it is said to be closed from the 26th august on to the 13 th September if i'm not mistaken
I just had a look and they have up to September this years refurbishments I just googled it! So glad the magic carpets are on sept my sons fav (was closed on our march visit) but playhouse Disney closed all month :(
October opening hours and refurbishments are on-line today for October.
A bit sad IASW is closed during our visit, it's one of the kids favourites and it's the 2nd time in 3 years it's been closed, but it would have been so much worse if it had been POTC or PM.

Yes just read it too, IASW is a bummer but I had more worries about my other favourites like Star Tours or Rock'n Rollercoaster :)
Just found out that Phantom Manor, one of my 'must do' fave rides, is closed from the day after we arrive.
Our package doesnt include park tix for the day of arrival, and I wasnt going to buy extra ones but I definately will now as I just can't miss out on doing PM!
This means I will pay approx £150 for 3 tix for just a few hours in the Parks, but I figure it's essential.
Really hoping that the current list of october closures does not change - whilst we are there not one single thing is listed as being shut! Never experienced that before :-)
Oh no, IASW is closed for pretty much our whole stay (it opens on the day we leave :( ) That's terrible, it's one of my daughter's favourite rides...

I sympathise. BTM was closed for all but the first day of our last trip and it is the absolute favourite ride of my whole family! I have been praying to the Disney gods since May that it is open for our trip in October.
That is a long closure for IASW - wonder what they are doing in there? Plus wont they have to close it again a few weeks later for the xmas overlay :?:

I'm kind of hoping that they'll do the Christmas overlay when they close it in October, so we get to see it on our last day... The Christmas season starts less than a month later!!
Hi
Can anyone confirm which closure schedule is correct / most up to date? The one on the official website still doesn't mention that Disney Junior Live is closed, but the one on here still has it closed with an asterix. I'm keeping everything crossed that it will be open next month, but I'm not hopeful :(

Most likely this is coming from whats happening in America. Disneyland California are closing Captain EO permanently in the next few days. This is due to the new Star Wars deal Disney did with Lucas Films a few months ago. Tomorrowland land is getting a whole new look, Star Tours is being updated and the Captain EO theatre will get a new resident. The Michael Jackson fan community has known for a while that Captain EO in America would be closing sometime soon. When I was in Disneyland California this summer they had stopped selling Captain EO merchandise. Then around 6 August on micechat.com this appeared
The first phase is planned to get underway this winter with the closing of Captain EO and major "placemaking" work on the existing buildings that mostly date from 1967. The 15 months of work would wrap up by early spring 2015 in time for the 60th, and leave a new Star Wars 3D movie in the old Captain EO theater, new destinations programmed into Star Tours based on the seventh Star Wars movie to be released in summer 2015, and a freshened aesthetic to the buildings surrounding Space Mountain. Once the 60th Anniversary begins to wind down, the real work begins on plans to build a Star Wars speeder bike coaster on the old PeopleMover tracks, plus more Star Wars eye candy and freshened facilities throughout the land. then heard from a castmember in Disneyland California that Captain EO would be closing in September.
This was tweeted by @TouringPlans on 26 AugustCaptain EO closes in 17 days for refurbishment. Cast members I talked to working the attraction say it won't return at all
People are probably confusing whats happening in America and thinking its going to happen in DLP. As we all know many of the updates and changes which happen in America don't happen in DLP, the one that comes to mind is how Pirates in America gets updated with Captain Jack and mermaids etc, while DLP doesn't.Also the closures and refurb calendar for October, November, December has been released. Captain EO is closed every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays up until 21 December, and during Christmas New Years peak time it is not closed at all.
there is no closures on those days

Did anyone have heard about a one-year closure for Captain Eo from the 1st of october?
There is an rumor about that in France but no official announcement...
The official word is that Captain EO will be permanently retired from DLP in February 2014.
It has had a good second run returning to the park but seems like the interest and numbers for it have been steadily declining so looks like it is going away now. So if you want to see it one last time then get to the park before February next year.
Does anyone know when feb 2014 dates will be on? October is still showing even tho its now november...any idea when it will change. Thanks
The February dates are out - see post at https://forum.dlpguide.com/index.php?topic=15872.msg244911#msg244911 (https://forum.dlpguide.com/index.php?topic=15872.msg244911#msg244911)
Thanks, just had a look : )
The official website has Rock 'n Rollercoaster marked as closed on 2nd and 3th of december, but this isn't on other websites. Was about to book a last minute trip but if this closure is correct I might reconsider. Does anybody have any further info?
So I pushed my trip back 2 weeks, important to note that the list on dlrpmagic.com isn't 100% complete though!
It isnt that weird.
Because the closure of RnR coaster doesnt show up on the dutch site either
Weird, it is marked both on the UK and BE websites as being closed 2nd to 4th of december.
When do you think the March closures will be out? Feeling a little nervous about what will be closed when we go at the end of March... Checking the calendar almost every day.... ;)
They've been out on disneylandparis.co.uk for a couple of weeks, it's just that nobody's got around to updating any of the fan sites with the new dates. The closure's for March 2014 are as follows:
Captain EO:
1st to 31st
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril:
1st to 31st
Armageddon : les Effets Spéciaux:
17th to 19th, 24th to 26th, 31st
Crush's Coaster:
17th to 31st
Studio Tram Tour : Behind the Magic:
19th to 21st, 26th to 28th
I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed about the closure of Crush's Coaster - we're there from 1st to 5th April, and I'm guessing it will still be closed that week if it hasn't opened by Monday 31st March, which is a pity as it is the favourite ride of both my wife and son (and I rather like it too).

Oh I didn't realise...! Thanx for the info...
GUTTED about Crush - we never got on it last time we went, so that was a target for us this time... Oh well, apart from Indy, I am alright with the other closures when we go... Not too bad...
Crush coaster closed. That is too bad. I wanted to go in it. We wil be there from 20-23 March. So on Saturday the tram should be open again.
Not so sad about indiana jones. I thought my head would fall off from shaking so hard.

Rapunzel1,
We are there 17th - 21st, so overlapping your stay a bit.
Yes, gutted about Crush, but wanted to try Indy as we never went on it last time we went. But not too upset about it. It could have been worse....

I am afraid you can't see them anywhere
Most of the time disneyland paris release closures only 2 or 3 months in advance.
But if they are there I am sure DLRPToday Will have a blog post about it.
Ahhhhh , nothing worse than booking then finding out one of your favourite attractions is closed :'( :'(
So, the April closures are out, and my fears are confirmed - Crush's Coaster will be shut for the duration of our visit (1st to 5th), and so will Peter Pan's Flight. Oh well, we've been pretty lucky on our 2 previous visits, with no real closures to speak of. The full closure list for April 2014 is as follows:
Captain EO:
1st to 30th
Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril:
1st to 30th
Peter Pan's Flight:
1st to 11th
Armageddon : Les Effets Speciaux

Crush's Coaster:

Studio Tram Tour : Behind The Magic:
2nd to 4th, 9th to 11th
Flying Carpets Over Agrabah:
14th to 30th

This is ok, we arrive on 31st March and will have to do Studio Tram in the first 2 days and Peter Pan on arrival day, but we can live with out the others.
Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Have just found out, they have added Peter Pan to the closures from 17th March (the day we arrive!!) onwards!! GUTTED doesn't even describe it!!!
:'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
Our boys LOVE this ride, and they will be so sad when they find out they wont be able to go on it all week!!!
I know closures are necessary, but up until now, we thought we had got away with just Crush....
I can't even begin to explain how upset I am right now..... *runs off to hide under covers and have a little cry*
We are going 25th-29th May and the info for our days has come out this week. Our scheduled closures are -
Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril
Armageddon : les Effets Spéciaux
Captain EO
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Flying Carpets Over Agrabah®
They are the same every day except for Indiana Jones opening on our last day, so if we focus on that we will be able to fit it in before we leave. Not pleased about Armageddon though, its scheduled to be closed right the way through from 17th March, thought that it would have been open by the time we arrived. Why do they have to be closed for soooo long :( .
Just thought too....I've been told that the Dumbo ride is one of the better rides that is open during the Magic Hours. If this is closed, will they make another ride available instead?
I hadn't thought of that. Peter Pan is shut when we're there between 1st and 5th April, anybody got any idea which ride usually takes its place during EMH?

We also go on 1st-5th. It's a shame about some of the closures but I guess we'll have to go again next year!!
When will end of October's list come out? Do they normally have big closures planned for the half term?
I saw that IASW will be closed from september 29th, but I cannot find out if it will remain closed through the first days of october as well, that was actually when we were planning our next stay
For now announces dates are 29.9 and 30.9.
For October closures we have to wait till end of July. Fingers crossed for you!
(I still grieve for one of my favorite attractions - this on my ticker - but that's Disney life ::) :D )
We always go in school holidays-have to-I'm a teacher and everything is usually open-that's why it costs so much, I guess.

Same here about Pirates! :'(
Oh man, gutted about Pirates, I'm going from the 8th to the 12th, I've only been once when it was actually open, every other time I've been it's not been open, what a shame :'(

I'm so so so happy that there are no closures planned for Oct half term! It might help ease the queues ever so slightly if everything is open - including Captain EO... Thought that was closed permanently. Would my 4 year old like it?

Would my 4 year old like it?
Not 100% sure, it depends also on the kind of child. It's with 3D glasses, it's not so long, there are funny creatures, but all this old format ..... I don't know.
Even a good few weeks later, all attractions are open! Cannot wait!!!
YAAAAY!!!!
Quote from: Mrsya on July 29, 2014, 12:33:27 PM

that depends on the child. There are 3D effects right from the start, so it would depend on whether your child gets scared by things coming out of the screen.
There is a story to it, which your 4 year old might not understand, Captain EO (Michael Jackson) pilots a ship, with muppet type companions. The ship crashes, they get captured, there is a song and dance middle and end section.
The only scary part might be the Supreme Leader character, who is like the typical Disney evil Queen. She is a spider type character.
There is music and dancing through out and there should be some 4D effects, like air blowing when a character sneezes and the seats bouncing with the music.
Wonderful news that nothing is closed during my Halloween Honeymoon trip! :D ;D :)
Thanks badpinktink! I think we'll give it a go!
So chuffed that there are absolutely no closures during our trip! Anyone have the link for parade/show times? I can never remember where it is!
Phantom Manor and Buzz are closed for our entire trip in November. PM is my favourite ride, to say I am gutted is an understatement :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Go on the DLP website and go on Opening Times on that page is a PDF document that has show times and events for the week.
Our trip is from 30th of Nov - 4th Dec. Just outside of the dates captured on the latest Closures & Refurbs. :o
Used to go every year & as such that mitigated against major disappointments (slightly).
But this year is the 1st time we have been since 2011, and wont be going back for another few years...
I hope nothings closed. Altho no one is ever that jammy ;)
Rant over. sorry! :) :-[
Just noticed the Pirates closure has been extended this month, was set to reopen on 13th September but is now opening on 18th! Big blow to be landing on at the last minute. Are extensions like this common? This now cuts into our trip and I'm hoping it doesn't extend more.
Refurbishment schedules are subject to change at any time, so an attraction might open earlier than planned or have its refurb extended.

:'( most unfortunate, that means it'll be closed during my stay there. Hopefully it'll reopen a little sooner.
I'm going on September 14th, coming home on the 18th. According to the DLP calendar thingy POTC is open on the 14th, then closed on the 15th, 16th and 17th, then open on the 18th. If it is open on the 14th, it'll be the first ride I go on! And it will also be the first ride I go on, on the 18th! (Apart from EMH stuff).

Oh no, that's a shame :( When will you be there? It's a fairly recent change - it wasn't on the closure list for some time after the September closures were announced.
Tuesday and Wednesday according to her post in Trip Planning, that's very unfortunate. :(
Yes! But i would have been more disappointed if Tot, BTM, buzz, crush or ratatouille would be closed.
Although its a shame that POT is closed now
Confused about closures :-\
When we booked in August I checked the closures for the 3rd and 4th November, they were PM, mad hatters tea cups and buzz's blast, I remember this as I was upset as PH is my fav ride. So in hope I checked the official web site last week for an update to my surprise none of the above were on the list for that date and in place was the closure of Big thunder mountain , my son actualy cried when I told him this was shut :( . So thought I would just check today and there is nothing listed !!!!. we go in less than three weeks and it would be nice to know what is really closed . Anyone got a clue ?
Ok rant over thank you :)
Confused.com
According to the German Website BTM is closed until 19th November. ::)
Apparently they changed the refurbishment schedule because it was meant to be closed in December at the time of our visit. I remember this because I was very disappointed originally.
Sorry for your son.
The refurbishment schedule is subject to change at any time, so it's good to always check the official site before your trip. Unfortunately, during your visit BTM is closed along with Crush's Coaster, Mad Hatter's Tea Cups and Captain EO. Sorry for the disappointed this may cause!
By the way, I don't know why closures aren't available on the english site, perhaps because of a glitch or something.
Ok thanks for your replies it very kind of you :)
it good to know what is actually closed for our visit now I can plan a little better, I have just been on the official uk web site again and still nothing on there for these date, I wonder if its due to them upgrading there site.
thank you
I have not done very much research but it seems that Space Mountain may still be closed for our visit 30-31 July and 1 Aug. Just want to know if I should be prepared for disappointment. :P
Where do you find the closures? I can only find up to June. I'm going August.
After digging into more threads on this forum, Space Mountain is scheduled to reopen 24 July. I didn't find actual closures past June and was just speculating.
Ooo I hope you're right Jwswarens. 24th is our last day so at least there's a glimmer of a chance of a ride. Not holding my breath though, when altering our booking the other day was told it was shut for the duration of our stay.....ho hum :(
Anyone have any idea which rides might be closed 5-7 oktober? I know the schedule isnt out yet, but i Thought maybe they close the same rides at around the same time each year

Pirates of the Caribbean? Sleeping Beauty Castle? other?
Hello vuk,
You can look at http://www.dlpguide.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/ (http://www.dlpguide.com/calendar/closures-refurbishments/)
The official closure and repairs are only published 3 months in advance by Disney.

Nice. Thank you!
When I booked at the weekend to stay 28 Dec to 2 Jan '16 I was told that Big Thunder Mountain, La Cabane des Robinson and the whole of the Disney Railroad will be closed during this time. Hope this is helpful to anyone going during this time.
We are going on 4th April this year and it states that Main Street Station and Discoveryland Station will be closed. Does this mean that the railroad will still be running but that you can only use the other two stations?
Yes.

This is what I was referred to when I booked next February. POTC is closed :'( the kids love that but not as much as thunder mountain..

Thanks! With big thunder mountain and star tours closed, i would be very disapointing if my other two favorites would be closed as well
Help! We're going as a family (of thrill seekers) for our first time next Monday and having just looked at the number of rides closed, I'm concerned that we're not going to be able to go on a lot of the 'bigger' rides. Am I right and if so, does anyone have any advice? I'm worrying!
Thrill rides closed at the moment are Big Thunder Mountain and Rock & Roller Coaster avec Aerosmith. Big Thrills that are available for you are Space Mountain: Mission 2, Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril, The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror, Crush's Coaster, and RC Racer.
Hello all! I posted this on another thread as well. The official site states SM will be closed January 2017. But it's very vague. Is it possible they'd close it right from the beginning of the month, New Years day? I'm thinking at least after Jan. 8th. Is anyone aware of a more specific date? Also POTC says "early January". Any ideas there? Thanks.
So gutted Pirates will be closed when we go :( Also Space Mountain & The Studio tram tour :( I love all of them too.
Hello we are booked to go last week of Jan early Feb.
I can see that Autopia, Casey Jr are both closed through January. Does anyone e happen to know when they reopen.
Emma
Autopia reopens on February 4 and Casey Jr. on March 25.
Thank you. That's such a shame as we go home on Friday 3 Feb. Where did you find the dates out please?
Emma
If you follow Disneylandberry on Twitter or Facebook they post about many things in advance.
I'm sure it's just me but I don't understand what seems to be conflicting closure dates for Pitates of the Caribean in early 2017. One says closed from 9th January until 31st January and the other information suggest close from early January until the summer.

I don't see this is a conflict. Jan 9th IS "early January" . The detailed plan for January says to the 31st, then the rest of the closure time will be covered in the entries for February and so on, which are not confirmed yet.
Given the changes to be done, you can work out that once shut, it's going to be shut for months rather than weeks.
Hi all!
Hope you are all doing well.
I am planning to visit DLP for the 25th anniversary from the 24th of April until the 30th of April, though my only issue that im not understanding is that its saying Hyper Space mountain and studio tram tour are marked under rehab until april 2017. Does this mean that they won t be open even until the end of april? The thing is I wanna experience the 25th anniversary including these major new updates of the rides. Its very strange if they are n t open until then as it would have been already 1 month since the 25th anniversary launch.
Would be really grateful if someone could advise more about this.
Thanks :)
You are correct, these attractions are not re-opened yet at the beginning of the 25th celebrations. Also, Pirates of the Caribbean is still closed when you are planning your visit.

I just called in DLP and they informed me that is the current plan, but since I will be booking during the last week of april, there is a high chance that both hyper space mountain and tram tour will be open by then according to them. :D (POTC is not such an issue tbh as I know it will be closed until september.) its more those 2 rides which im more conscious about...so i'm gonna take the risk and hope i get lucky! Surely PotC isn't closed UNTIL September. It's in the list of April-Sept closures but it says 'until summer', I thought it reopened in July. Hopefully at the start because I was looking to go during the second week!
Hi
I'm new to the forum and was looking for information about Pirates of the Caribbean as I have just booked my first trip for myself and my son 31st July - 4th August and I was told pirates will be closed during that week.
I saw somewhere that it would be closed 'until summer' and somewhere else that it would be closed 'until July' so I was hoping for news that it would be open by the first week of August but if people are being told September then I guess we wont be getting to experience it after all.
Hi all.
So I think I understand that POTC is closed for the majority of the year. I'm looking at coming 16th of April for a week.
Will the Tram ride be open? Is it too early for definitive information regarding this? Is it a case of "should be, but we don't promise - just in case"?
BTM will also be closed, I understand that.
My kids love small world, I'm hoping Utopia is open - but again, I'm not sure and I've read conflicting things.
Any clarification would be much appreciated oh wise ones.
We booked yesterday to visit in October 2017 & whilst we was booking we was advised that Pirates is closed during our visit :'(
Hopefully it's because we took advantage of the Summer booking offer of 2 days & 2 nights free & that's part of the standard script because of the offer as we've also seen on numerous websites that it only states closed until Summer 2017
Wow I'm pretty sure it won't still be closed in October. I may not have been to DLP yet but it's only modifications they're doing so I can't believe it will take that long, not unless they were making substantial changes to the ride layout.
I'm guessing they just don't have a firm end date to the works they are doing.
I notice that DLP guide says that IASW is closed from 6th - 17th March (we go 13th-17th), however there is no mention of this on the official DLP site. Does anyone know which is likely to be right? I'm hoping it's open, as it's one of the kids favourites!
Spoke to a CM last week when we booked
She mentioned POTC is due to be down pretty much the whole year! Hope she was wrong :(
I have booked for the last week in April. We knew that Pirates was going to be closed but it now seems Space Mountain (or Hyperspace Mountain as it's going to be known for a bit) will be closed until the week after we leave.
Any chance there will be some soft openings the week before? I'll be gutted if we miss Pirates & Space Mountain on the same trip. I don't think having two attractions like those two, with such high throughputs, closed is going to do a lot for queue times either.
Or is the idea of a soft opening on a ride that is just getting a new overlay a bit of wishful thinking on my part?

I'm currently here and it's open 😄
The latest in Twitter from the normally reliable ED92 is that Pirates is due to reopen on July 14th.
Any confirmation about this rumor I heard:
BTM is set to close again for sveral months after the anniversary year in order o fix the many breakdowns and nonfunctional effects
Hi,
We are going to Disneyland Paris on November 26th -November 30th and I was wondering if there was any news on closures happening on that week? I couldn't find anything that when that far ahead yet.
You can see the planned closures here:
http://holidays.disneylandparis.co.uk/eep.html
So for the end of November that would be (as is known now, always subject to change):
Cinémagique (no surprise there).
Besides the link NCC1701Q provided, there's a calendar where you can see day by day which rides are closed: http://www.disneylandparis.co.uk/calendars/park-hours/
Check it closer to your dates.
Brilliant Thank you. It goes as far as the 7th of November so it should be up before long but is says ratatouille is closed so I really hope it opens before we go as I haven't been on it before.🙁
I'm making my first visit with my girlfriend June 18th - 22nd. We knew Phantom Manor was to be closed due to the refurbishment, but now I see on the DLP website that Pirates of the Carribean AND Rock n Rollercoaster are going to be closed to?! :( say it ain't so. That is disappointing...
any information on closures for December?
