Title: Best Buffet Resturants
Post by: Allergyboysmum on July 12, 2015, 10:34:17 PM
Hi I am about to book our buffet resturants for out DLP trip in sept and wondered which ones people would reccomended on the meal plan plus! Were staying in Seqoia is Hunters any good? Want Buffett as my two boys have autism and struggle with waiting for food at table service if it's very busy!  They are also Gluten and dairy free. Any advice would be welcome (not keen on the allergy meal options)

Hunter's Grill is one of my favourite restaurants in DLP. The buffet is really varied, constantly refilled and has enough options for both adults and kids. It's a real challenge to not overeat so you still can have dessert. :)

Thankyou! That's great to know! Think I will book Hunter for one of the two nights!

Plaza Gardens is also a very good choice. We always go there before Dreams for a longer rest after the busy day. And it's good, that we are not supposed to leave the park.

Is there a good time to go to Plaza Gardens? If the parade is at 5.30pm ideally we would like to go after but I imagine that's what everyone else does too! If you have booked a table do you still have long ques to be seated? Also just found out its a small world will be shut! My autistic son is going to be so upset it was one of the main reasons we booked to go back :'(

Most important at Plaza Gardens is to have reservation. Just after parade is great time and good relax. Our longest wait (with reservation) was 15 minutes, which is bearable.

Small World will be closed for refurbishment. When exactly are you going?

Were going 2nd-4th Sept. What time would you reccomended booking plaza gardens for after the parade. Sorry for so many questions just want to be organised!

Yes, at that time "It's a small world" is closed.  :-\

If the parade is at 17,30 you can book for 18.00. And you can watch it from the beginning - opposite the stage near the castle (Fantasyland area). When it's finished at your side (it goes down to the entrance area) you can go straight to the restaurant, even minutes earlier. If there's a free table you can enter right away.

You chose good time for visiting. We were at the same time 2013. Still warm, but very calm without the big summer crowds.

i was always keen on the tex-mex at La Grange in the village, but if you want to stay in the park then Plaza Gardens is great also
