Well here it is, a photo from the Magic Kingdom's Ice Castle...
it looks absolutely magical! I love it and it's great, but I do think I know where they got their idea from... but as always, Paris does it more sophisticated and a bit less 'over the top'... nevertheless this looks very nice!
WOW, that looks fantastic :)
That looks very pretty, but what does it look like during the day? Is it just a load of wires all over the castle?
Hahahha looking magical, but indeed, somewhat over the top. So American:P
I like the Paris version better ;)
Hmm, I kinda like it, looks much better than it does during the day.
looks good, i;ve been twice in dec and its never been like that before
hmm looks nice!
But DLRP's castle looks muuuuuch better with this
The new ice look is nice, but call me odd, but seems a bit too cold looking with all the dark blues as well. Think the pink on Le Chateau in Paris gives that ice castle look a bit of warmth, and makes it just seem so much better really. But apart from that nice to see another idea stolen from Paris for every Disney resort worldwide  .
Magic Kingdom actually did a good job of something?! :P
It actually looks a little better than the lights (only the lights!) on Paris' if you ask me - probably because their castle is fatter and more square so more suited to this, whereas Le Chateau has so many different, thinner spires.
Nice to see literally every Disney resort has stolen this idea now. Hong Kong even have the tinkerbell pixie dust effect spraying from the top!!
Edit: I wonder how many WDW fans appreciate DLRP came up with this idea? They probably think WDW invented it, as they did the talking character heads...

:o Offtopic; Paris started the talking character heads ?

The talking character heads first appeared in the Legend of the Lion King show for Timon :)
Now back on topic

Ouch, it's not pretty during the day... Reminds me of those nets they wrap christmas trees up in at garden centres... Maybe that's the idea? :P

But I bet from ground level the light sare hardly visable during the day. That photo is quite close up
It looks nice, but the castle in Paris looks much more better, espesially during the day.
Sligthtly off topic but does EPCOT still have the lights of winter?
lookslike it is
Lights of Winter: A festive, synchronized light show set to a joyous holiday score, running nightly at the World Showcase Plaza.
as well as Holidays Around the World
mgm still have The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights
which are great to see
Holidays Around the World with Edward James Olmos
Year in, year out, it's one of the most memorable moments that people select during the holidays at Walt Disney World: the Holidays Around the World at Epcot. It's where anyone can experience fantastic celebrations from around the globe!
There are many experiences, and all help unite everyone in the spirit. One of these traditions is the Candlelight Processional. It's one of the most beloved moments during the holidays.
You can hear a joyous retelling of the Christmas Story by a celebrity narrator along with a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir.
One of the celebrities who keeps coming back is Edward James Olmos. For the first time, part of his Candlelight Processional will be in Spanish, and Mickey Monitor asked Edward about his experiences there.
Candlelight Processional
Dates: November 23-December 30
Time: Shows are at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m.
Place: America Gardens Theatre, Epcot
Scheduled Celebrity Narrators Include:
David Robinson 23-25 Nov.
John O'Hurley 26-28 Nov.
Neil Patrick Harris 29 Nov to 1 Dec.
Dennis Franz (NEW!) 2-4 Dec.
Monique Coleman (NEW!) 5-7 Dec.
Steven Curtis Chapman 8-10 Dec.
Chita Rivera 11-13 Dec.
Isabella Rossellini (NEW!) 14-16 Dec.
Kirk Cameron 17-19 Dec.
Edward James Olmos 20-22 Dec.
Gary Sinise 23-25 Dec.
Rita Moreno 26-28 Dec.
Marlee Matlin 29-30 Dec.
I'd love to see the Candlelight Processional at Epcot... not so much for the singing - I can get that at my local church  - but they've got some top notch narrators. (And those who are not top notch still appeal a lot to the geek in me.)
Ok this looks nice but a bit over the top!

I personaly think it look fantastic. Totaly magical. And in the context of the show that happens every night it kinda makes sense. Cinderella asks her fair godmother to decorate the castle so it looks like her glass slipper.... Cheesy, but festive
That looks so awesome!
Nice picture, every word is true, a real magical ice castle :P
@ Night it looks great!!
its also nice atnight when it snows on main street, the very merry christmas party nights are great too

That's what I was thinking  It seems like the lights have been placed without any thought - As if someone has just said "Cover up the WHOLE thing with lights". It just looks a little rushed
The Castle is beautiful
