Last weekend we saw a lot of Spiderman shirts at many of the disneyland/WDS shops. While most girls want a princess-dress, we now saw many parents buy Spidy-shirts for there boys! It is strange to see the many children walk in spidy-cloths while there isn't an attraction of there hero.
Maybe it's a idea the make a marvel-land of the lost space behind Big Thunder Mountain (Toy story, the Chapal theater)

That's the reason why Disney bought Marvel. They needed something that attracts boys likr the princesses do for girls.
I think if Disney wants to build a Marvel land, it wouldn't be in DLP, they will build it in WDS. There it fits better.
