The change over to flat screens was announced a while before the full on refurb, but I'm surprised they just didn't leave it and wait until then, but oh well, cant complain.

So, MissDisneyisMagic, who was it that woke you up on the phone? Goofy, Talking clock?

Martyn

COME ON? SOMEONE MUST KNOW! Who is doing the wake-up calls nowadays?lol

Also, anyone know if'll we'll be able to get a kettle for our room?

Dolph7800

There wasn't any kettle in our room, although ours was a non-refurbed Montana I believe, as it had a mini bar, even though we were due to be standard in the lodges.

Martyn

Yeah we've never had a kettle in our room before, I just didn't know if you could request one or not?

bensmum

If I remember correctly you can request one from reception. We were in a Montana room last October and it was on the list of services.

Even in santa fe you can get a kettle. You can get it at the reception for a guarantee payment of (I thought) €40,-
So for the other hotels I think it will be the same.
For the more expensive rooms like the castleclub there will be a kettle allready in the room

40 euros to borrow a kettle, are you sure? we stayed at the NY in November and we asked for a kettle from house keeping, but I don't remember paying 40 Euros.

Hi everyone!
We always had a kettle waiting for us in our room -Cheyenne, Sequoia, New York and Newport- without asking for.
However, I always, wherever we are going, I carry with me one small kettle anyway (bought it from duty free shop at airport, very cheep and convenient).
Hope that I help.

40Euro's, that must be wrong?!

When we stayed in Santa Fe during New Years we had a kettle and you could buy a tea-set in the reception with tea leefs, coffee and a few other things... I'm pretty sure it was 7 or 14 €...

I guess it will either be the same or better service at Sequoia :)

I'm possitive.
When I was in santa fe a few years back we got a kettle and they charged my credit card for €40.- When we returned the kettle they refunded the €40,- to my card.
So yes it is free but you pay a downpayment(if that is the right word in english)
