Quote from: "howtodeal"I don't know if you guys heared about this, but the short movie attached to Wall-E is
called Presto
Thanks! I was wondering when we'd hear about that. Looks funny just from the picture.

Have we seen Fire Hydrant WALL-E yet?

There's also a nice featurette "A Space Journey in Sound" about the film's sound design here:

Baloo, i love those teasers, they remind me of the ones they did when Lilo and Stitch
was released, i hope that they include them in the DVD.

The Soundtrack will be released on the 24th of this month, Peter Gabriel sings a song
for the movie  :D/ , and the composer of the score is Thomas Newman.
You can listen to samples on Amazon.com, just don't read the titles of the tracks if you
want to avoid spoilers

I'm really looking forward to WALL-E. It already seems like a winner, hopefully the earnings in the box-office will do the film justice, especially if its as good as the sources seem to claim.

Linkage

Total Film has just posted a link to a 30 second clip of Presto, the short playing before Wall.E. I think the animation looks wonderful and I can't wait to see the rest of the short film, looks like it could be quite amusing.
Next visit to DLP: October 26th
Coaster Count: over 320

You've taken the Words Straight from out of my mouth!

We did have something like that in my house... It was called my Goldfish... Lucky he liked to dance to the radio (Jamiroquai in Particular) although we never plugged him into it or put the radio in the fish bowl!

But ME WANT! ME WANT!! ME WANT!!!...

From this Tuesday, Disney.com will be in the hands of WALL-E. No, really...

QuoteWith the approach of one of this year's most eagerly anticipated films, the Disney/Pixar release of WALL•E, the designers and engineers began to wonder what, besides linking to the film's web pages, they could do to make the little Waste Allocation Load Lifter • Earth class robot more of a part of the Disney.com experience.

"What would happen if WALL•E tried to start our site?" Disney.com Creative Director Sandro Corsaro asked. After all, most of the teaser material from the film frequently shows WALL•E struggling to make out the purpose of mountains of consumer goods left behind on an earth choked in its own commercial refuse.

With that question in mind, Corsaro contacted the folks at Pixar in Emeryville and a concept for a short vignette featuring WALL•E, a remote control and a space age computer screen, emerged.

"We've never done anything with Pixar," Corsaro said, "and we want this to be the first of many things we do."

Beginning the first thing next Tuesday—at 12:01 p.m. PDT—when you go to Disney.com, you'll be greeted by a star field. "WALL•E is buzzing along and he comes across this remote." As he passes, he glances back and is fascinated by the remote. He picks it up and clicks on it.

And the rest...well, you're just going to have to visit Disney.com next week to find out what happens. We will tell you it takes a woman to resolve WALL•E's predicament for him.
